I’d love to read a Soapbox article on the reviewing process, and the (perceived) pressures to review favourably or lose access to a publisher’s titles. I’m sure the reviewers on this site have many behind-the-scenes stories collected over the years before they joined PS, and then an insight as how it is now

I’ve little interesting in playing the game, but the review was a cracker to read

My first one! I tuned in late, figuring you could start from the beginning, but no?!? What is this, the 90s? Watched a minute of some horribly voiced-over Among Us wannabe, and switched it off.

So this was also my last one! Yawn

The Squid Game was merely average in my opinion - some bits were great (I loved the marble game episode), but overall it felt too contrived, and I was left wondering why it was so popular. YMMV

I’ve heard you start with only three players, and additional ones are added as they’re programmed. A full team should be available by mid-2022…

Dreams is an incredible tool. Even just messing around in the tutorials is fun, and you can get some interesting results. What this creator, and others like him, create is truly phenomenal.

I think it’d be great to have Dream creations playable by every PS4/5 owner, irrespective of if they own the game. And creating Dreams on PC would be even better.

I can confirm one of the games is WRC9, I just bought it a few weeks ago, and I know Sony base the games off my recent purchase history…

Never mind Daley Thompson's Decathlon, is it as good as Decathlon on the Atari 2600? I played Decathlon a couple of weeks ago, and it's still immensely fun (and good to know that my brother and I are still as competitive as we were 38 years ago)

I love the sound of this, but really need to see some proper video of the games in action. I really liked Vostok Inc, simple though it was, and played it a bunch on my Switch

@Hurblyburbly I’m in my 50s! How did that happen?!? Gamed on the Atari 2600 as a kid - I kinda miss those one-button-on-a-joystick days…

Looks awesome, but I fear it’s above my skill level to really enjoy it. Games like this need an old-person-mode - where things move a little slower, areas aren’t so dark, on-screen text is bigger etc…

The Pushsquare crowd is a tough one. If a similar article was on NintendoLife about what the Switch was outselling, the fans would be loving it!

Separately, I still don’t understand how the Dreamcast did so poorly. They even sponsored a football team jersey for several seasons, admittedly it was Arsenal, but still...

The racing looked fun, but it was all rather unimaginative. Where was the loop de loop, the corkscrew, the bumpy section going over various piles of books, the firecrackers thrown at other cars, the attempt at an outdoor trail, etc...

I hope the first thing your character finds is a pair of sunglasses, as that light-level looked way off

Two things is change:

First, if you have a video review then let us know at the top - it’s frustrating to read the review and then see a video I could’ve watched at the end of it

Secondly, the comments section. The down-votes seem to mean nothing. I’d like to see down-vote tallies, so I know what the community agrees/disagree with

It officially has more bugs than Bugsnax...

A lot of people literally do not care about Demon Souls. I don’t. And I’m glad some people do. A top ten list has no bearing on my enjoyment of a game...

I think it’s ok. The visuals are a bit flat making it tough to see ledges or gaps, the controls are slow to respond, and the team games are a tad blah. But I definitely enjoy it more than the likes of Fortnite

Split-screen multiplayer please. A few beers, mates on a couch, competing online ... sounds like a blast. Solo, not so much

Did the whiners not see the entire stadium reflected in a player’s helmet? What more does a football game need?

The console looked fairly ugly to me - the blu-ray version looks pregnant, and the digital one laying flat just looks plain wrong.

As for the games, most looked pretty good. Although the NPCs in Ratchet reminded me far too much of Jar Jar Binks...

A new FIFA, with empty stadiums, and crowd noise filtered in from the previous version of FIFA.

Failing that, then sequels to Monty on the Run, Paradroid, Combat, and something from Jeff Minter...

The last time I finished a game, it was Bruce Lee on the C64. So I’m not one to replay a game. But the Dirt series gets a fair whack of my PS4 time

Not really my kind of game, but the visuals and music were sensational, and I loved the B&W cinematic version with Japanese audio. I'll probably get this further down the track, if I ever find the time, providing the difficulty level ain't too high (and it ain't too similar to Zelda, which bored me pretty quick)

5/10, which I thought was pretty good guessing seeing as I don’t own any of the forty games mentioned (I’ve only had my PS4 six months)

Looks like a great game, but racing surely doesn’t need voice talent?!? I’m racing in a car, isn’t that the game?!?

I’m happy to wait a few years and then get whatever console has the most games I want to play. The logo on the side of the box doesn’t concern me
