I’m curious, part of me thinks that they might be making something else before making a follow up to God of War. Maybe that sci-fi project that they shelved to make God of War instead. Probably completely wrong but I’m eager to see what they are doing regardless.

So great to see! I’d love it if they announced GoW sequel this summer for a spring 2021 release. Everyone who gets a PS5 over the holiday 2020 can have something big to look forward to in the new year. That’s approximately three years of post-release development after GoW (2018).

I need to go back and get the platinum for this game. The only trophy I have left is finding all the ravens. I could use a guide to locate them all but I never liked getting trophies that way. Hopefully, once my backlog clears up some, I can go about obtaining it.

My most anticipated PS game, can't wait to see where the take the story next!

i see we are getting more of grandpa kratos played as a dark soul game(and with sjw politics on top???). here is where i jump off the train for this game franchise. gow3 is what a gow game should be, if you change everything from that, its not gow anymore for me. instead of continuing using the gow name they should put the series on ice for a while and make new ip instead.

Unpopular opinion..I really hope the studio is making something other than God Of War for once. That’s all the studio has primarily done for well over a decade. A new IP would be a nice change up. I vividly recall some incredible concept art Santa Monica produced for a new game..but I think that project was canceled. Would love to see them bring it back.

I simply cannot wait to see the sequel but to be honest, I'm expecting The Last of Us Part II quality in the sequel. As much as I love to see Kratos and Atreus return with that gripping combat (pun intended), I don't want them to be repeating what they did good on this one, rather AGAIN try new ideas and move the series forward like The Last of Us Part II does.

Other than that, a new IP is always welcome. Perhaps even more than sequels.

I doubt it'll be a launch title but it'll be similar to drive club where it'll be promised for release soon after launch. Let's hope they make that launch date.

Might as well wait for it to be on PC.

Lose the kid, it was good for a one off - have him on some adventure of his own in the background, maybe cross paths here or there. Get back the hard R gameplay - T&A is a big part of the game and there is nothing to be ashamed about there.

Just hope you guys remember that Kratos's death was confirmed in the new game. They're not getting rid of Atreus they're making him the new Kratos. Since it's most likely going to be. A god that kills Kratos Atreus will grow to hate gods just like Kratos did. He will then likely seek revenge because of his rage, starting the cycle all over again.
