I already own FF so can't get excited about that, but if I didn't own it? Then I'd want the PS5 version so still wouldn't be excited about it lol.

Kena is coming out later than I'd hoped but not unexpected.
Final Fantasy won't be charging me for a full game to play the new content, which is a nice surprise.
Sifu looked like it might be cool and maybe the follow-up to hyperlight drifter.

The Gravity Rush games were amazing, it's a shame more people didn't buy them. I also really liked Puppeteer and even Rain, which were released at the end of the PS3's life and was hoping for more indie-type games from them on PS4, which never seemed to happen...
Also it's the amount of Japanese games on Playstation vs XBox that got me onto the Playstation platform in the first place.

Yup. I'm going to be sad if they update Apex Legends into a PS5 game before a back-button attachment comes out. Sometimes I'm hopping between games and controllers a bunch lol

This is what I want the most lol, I'm still having to use a Dualshock 4 with my PS5 since they decided not to release a back-button attachment straight away or incorporate it into the new controller's design (as I'd hoped).

I'm looking forward to trying this out since it'll be free... but my initial impression of it as a new Rocket League with better graphics is tempered by how boring all that running around and not being in the cars looks : /

I'd be up for a Naughty Dog game with a fantasy setting. Looking forward to seeing them do a new IP.

DOA is my favourite fighting game series so I'm really hoping for an installment on PS5, given the reception of the last entry it'd be nice to know they've not given up on the franchise.

New IPs are more exciting to me plus the Uncharted story ended well with no. 4, I'd rather they left it alone.
Hopefully the studio approaches the caliber of Naughty Dog though, that'll be impressive.

I've had the game crash a handful of times on PS5 (I save frequently so it's not much of an issue, Apex Legends crashes more lol) but there's nothing game-breaking at all and I've been enjoying the game a lot, can't speak for the PS4 but I dunno why it couldn't be on the PS5 store...

Uh what, so I can go ahead and get a refund for all the games that I own that have since gone into PS+? Because that's a lot of games... I already own Tomb Raider for instance soooo

There are game-breaking bugs? What are they so I can avoid them?
The game crashes every now and then but I've not lost any progress since I save often, apart from that there's been no issues and I'm having a blast exploring the city.
Only thing that's kind of a shame is the game doesn't look as good as it could on PS5 but we knew in advance it'd be getting that upgrade patch later.

Playing the game on PS5 and enjoying it a lot, If I knew the PS5 version was going to be ready soon I could wait for that but who knows how long it'll be. I'll just do a second playthrough then.

The S version is absolutely the version to play, fixing the main negative people had about the game, the soundtrack being synthesized and not orchestrated, not to mention all the additional features and bonus content.

Barely ever. Only new games like Fall Guys and Rocket League. I'm looking forward to trying Destruction All-Stars.

I've been using my Dualshock 4 with my PS5 mostly, so I can play with back buttons.

Can't seem to find this sale on my PS5... Also can't seem to add DLC or add-ons to my wishlist >_<

With Covid I wouldn't be surprised if Digital sales have increased even more.
The real question is why Japan were allocated so little when apparently they've made more PS5s for launch than there were PS4s...

I think Sony is correct. How many games do you even need installed at one time? I'll have one single-player game at a time that I'll delete after I've finished it and a few multiplayer titles.

Plus, you say 150GB but doesn't CoD let you delete all the parts of the game you don't need so you can just keep the multiplayer or Zombies installed after you're done with the campaign?

Spiderman Miles Morales takes about 6-8 hours to complete, the CoD campaign is like 3-5 hours I hear?

Impressive! Cutting out all the logos & menus makes this basically as fast as quick resume.
Though as mentioned, swapping physical discs will slow you down lol

I keep seeing articles about 120fps, how many people even have TVs capable of supporting that?
Plus I fully expect new PS5 games to be targeting 60 or depending on the genre 30 so the visuals can be improved as much as possible...

The best part is I got an email to say my PS5 had arrived into the warehouse on Tuesday night so I could have had it delivered by today (I'm in the UK). Instead it's just sitting there waiting to be delivered next week...

It's really disappointing tbh. I used the wishlist function a lot and preferred to buy games on PC rather than using the console.
Navigating is really weird too, I usually check what the PS+ free DLC items are (like skins for Apex Legends) but can't figure out where that section is now... Removed and only on the console?

"God of War in performance mode". I'd hope it runs way better without needing to be in performance/Low graphics mode...

I didn't even know I had a level lol.
I used to care about trophies back when the PS4 launched, now I'm just happy to find the time to finish the story off and more excited to move on to the next game on my list instead of finding all the collectables or whatever.

It should be the other way around and the West adopts the Japanese way imo. It would be in-line with Nintendo as well so I wouldn't keep screwing things up when I play games on Switch.
Plus it makes more sense for X not to be confirm.

Certain games I would pay that much for. The Witcher/Cyberpunk for instance. Most games though? Looks like I'll stop buying day 1 and wait for sales/preowned copies.
Also, Miles Morales was compared to something like Uncharted Lost Legacy, which was $39.99. No way am I paying $59.99.

If the only change is that the game looks better and they've not added for instance additional story content then I think it should be a free upgrade.
This is something that Microsoft seem to be doing right. Buy a game once, play it anywhere in the best version available.

Bethesda will be a big deal, assuming their games are exclusive now, however the games themselves are so far off anyway it doesn't impact my decision...

I really wish they'd be clearer on exclusivity plans. It seems weird to me that they might still release on Playstation or Switch, this is a massive win for Microsoft if they are exclusive to their console.
The other thing I thought was, damn Sony could really do with some 1st party RPGs, now MS has both Bethesda and Obsidian...

The lower spec, not-aiming-for-4K xbox doesn't appeal to me at all but I'm sure it does to some people. Seems like a risky move to me as I thought most people swapped over to 4K TVs this Gen...

It was really good buuuut I wanted to see the UI and the console itself being shown off (speed, create button etc).

The world and monsters I think look really nice, the human characters not so much. The look/gear looks fun (unlike avengers lol)
I love the idea of getting a Zelda-type game on a non-Nintendo console so it's at a higher resolution, just imagining how Breath of the Wild could have looked on PS4...
Main thing that I found a bit meh was it's just a Greek mythology game, I'd hoped for something original.

I like Marvel comics and films but I tried the Beta and found it decidedly meh. Maybe it'll be one of those games where you play it in two years time once they've improved everything...
