Sometimes I forget that the PS4 is more than 10 years old now. Framerate and loading times aside, I think the PS4 can still hold up even today so I'm not surprised if there are still games coming out for it.

I already preordered, Sony. No need to oversell it to me

I hate that Sony keeps snubbing Bloodborne even for its 10th anniversary. Meanwhile, they will keep reminding you that TLOU is a thing.

Got this game for less than $10 and while at first I was skeptical, I was actually having fun.

I'm just happy that Sony is finally doing something again for their Japanese audience. The last SoP may not have been great but it being a Japan and asia only showcase, and with the announcement of a Japan only PS5, I think it's a good sign of Sony going back to their roots.

Not the biggest LoZ fan but wow, I'm already impressed with how both of them look.

Look, Steam can dominate the PC market but at the end of the day, if you are looking for a console, most people will end up with either PlayStation or Nintendo (sometimes Xbox).

Not saying the Steam machine will flop but consider the legacy behind PS and Nintendo in terms of console, Steam Machine is still years away before it can be considered as an actual competitor in the console market

That damn Square Enix teaser. For a second I almost thought we're finally getting something for FFVIIR part 3, only for it to be Octopath Traveler 0. I mean, no hate for OT but that was a terrible way to tease fans.

Anyway, I think this was just okay. Majority of the games are just updates. The least they could have done is to give us new characters for Tokon but instead, we only got a new stage announcement. Didn't help that some background characters, notably Gambit and Psylocke are just standing there like it's nothing.

Please, please let this be a moment where Ape Escape finally get a new game, a new Gravity Rush game (or at least remaster GR2) and a port of Gundam Extreme VS Infinite Boost.

But I'm glad that this is a Japan and asia focused SoP.

Nothing will ever compare to a piece of media that was actually made by genuine humans. Creations using AI has no soul in them and has no place in any form of art media

Glad that more fighting games from the PS1 era are coming back. Hoping for Bloody Roar 2 and Rival Schools

Good decision really. I would rather that they focus on the 3rd game instead of stretching out Rebirth further. I think Rebirth already have plenty to offer on its own.

Congrats to Team Silent! SH2 Remake is amazing. Currently replaying it this month for my spooky month gameplay

Really disappointed with this. I want a Dissidia game that plays like Dynasty Warriors, not like this or at least a new Dissidia game for modern consoles that plays like the PSP games.

I know there will be a fanbase for this gacha game but damn, Dissidia was done dirty with nothing but a mobile game....

I only bought Silent Hill F and FF Tactics last month and my personal choice goes to Silent Hill F (Tactics is also an amazing game tho.)

DLC + Switch 2 port announcement would be nice. I really enjoyed Metaphor despite its lengthy gameplay

Wouldn't mind buying SH2R again for Switch 2. Playing portably at night with headset at night with the light turned off would be one hell of an experience.

I'm beyond excited for SH1 Remake. I really enjoyed SH2R and wouldn't mind replaying it from time to time and being that the 1st SH game was my personal favorite in the series, I'm happy that this is happening.

I'm also hoping for SH4 and SH Origin get their remakes (It's only a matter of time for SH3 after SH1R)

Square would be shooting themselves in the foot (again) if part 3 doesn't go multiplat

This was a great surprise in today's Direct. Makes sense that they went with Crimson Butterfly first. I'm hoping that Fatal Frame 3 gets a remake as well.

Gears of War is that Xbox game that I was interested in the most. I would love to get this though I'll probably do it during a sale.

ngl, this made me want to try out Halo as well and when the franchise does come out on PS (I think it's only a matter of time), I'll be picking them up as well.

It was okay, can't complain much. Nothing got me excited in terms of new game announcements.

The only thing that got me excited isn't even a game, but rather, an anime adaptation of a game that is Sekiro No Defeat

As for the remake announcement, I don't know but announcing it today seems to be unlikely. If anything, a remake could be announced during a direct or something (e.g., SoP or Gamescom, etc.)

I'm still sure a remake is out there but feels like Square would wait until FFVII Remale part 3 is done.

Really love this artworks, especially the one with the party looking at the Iifa tree.

FF9 is still my all time favorite and while a remake is pretty much a guarantee, I won't put my hopes up for a July 7 announcement

Unfortunately, since I got a Switch 2 at launch, I don't have the budget to spend more money for games at this time so I'm missing out but I definitely will get this sometime in the future

Correction, it's not an "investor" that is asking SE about Expedition 33, but a media reporter (the interview is also a nothingburger, just means that Square acknowledges the value of Turn-based games)

As for turn-base, I'd like to see FF go back to a more turn-base as well but Square has been doing this with DQ, Octopath Traverler, Bravely Default and the SAGA series. It's just sad that people pretend they don't exist

Wow, happy for those who will be getting this on Day 1. I'm missing out for few months saddly (thanks Switch 2) and I haven't even beaten DS1 yet but I will be sure to do so and pick DS2 in the future.

Shadow dropping FFXVI at full price didn't help them, especially with Gamepass being the bread and butter for Xbox.

Add to that, FFXVI is a very devisive game amongst the fandom. Personally, I enjoyed XVI but I can understand why this game will turn some people off.

I bet this game will sell at $10 or lower in a couple of years and some people are going to be like "Mindseye was underrated and misunderstood"

Anyway, I'm more interested with the fact that Mario Kart 8 is still selling considerably well when World is now available

Finally! SH1 still remains as my favorite SH game. Just replayed it last year before playing SH2 Remake (still holds up) and now we're also getting the remake. Thank you, Konami!

Beast of Reincarnation was the only game that took my interest (considering it's a GameFreak game). Other than that, nothing else got me hyped. Not a bad showcase, mind you.

I do like that they actually showed the PS logo on an Xbox presentation tho.

Honestly, I hope this becomes successful for them and prove to everyone that they aren't just here to make Pokemon games. While it is their bread and butter but sometimes, they just need to make something else.

It was only a matter of time when they will remake P4 but glad it was finally announced. Not my favorite in the series per say but I did enjoy this back in PS2 days

I really enjoyed this SoP and I hope Sony will keep this style of presentation

It doesn't need to be an open-world but I am happy we're moving away from the mission based system of the previous 2 games. I really enjoy the more vast-connected areas that the Souls game established and I don't see why it shouldn't be the case for Nioh 3.

I've always imagined a 1st-party fighting game from Sony using their characters (e.g. Sly Cooper vs. Kat from Gravity Rush or Kratos vs Cole Macgrath) with Arc System Works as the developer

Tokon is probably the closes to that. Still hoping this leads to that direction (I also don't mind guest characters in Tokon using 1st-party Sony characters aside from PS4 Spider-Man)

Let me buy them separately. I really need to finish the OG RE3 Nemesis and I still need to complete Claire's campain the the OG RE2

This is crazy, never would have imagined Sony would develop a Marvel fighting game with Arc System works. I do want to see the complete roster, seeing Storm leads me to believe Wolverine is out there and hoping for Gambit as well
