PS4 classic Bloodborne turned 10 this year, and to celebrate, Sony did absolutely nothing whatsoever. Companies have no duty to celebrate anniversaries in any substantial way, but given the FromSoftware game's status as a fan favourite, it was hoped that something might happen.
It didn't, of course, but there is one way you can still mark the occasion: a series of new Bloodborne vinyl sets offering select tracks from the soundtrack. Pre-orders are opening up today.
Available from Laced Records, you can purchase up to three different versions of an expanded vinyl that extra songs on it not featured in the original release. Volume 2 includes "four songs not included in the original vinyl release from the base game, as well as five boss cues from The Old Hunters DLC, including 'Ludwig, The Holy Blade' by Nobuyoshi Suzuki and 'Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower' by Yuka Kitamura".
Bloodborne Vol. 2 LP
A new Bloodborne Vol. 2 LP featuring nine tracks (inc. The Old Hunters OST) presented on a single red, white and marble disc, housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with gold foiling.
Bloodborne Vol. 1 LP - Laced Records Exclusive
A new Laced-exclusive variant of the original Bloodborne soundtrack (21 tracks) first released in 2019, presented as a double LP with turquoise, white and black marble discs, housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with gold foiling.
Bloodborne Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 LP Collector's Boxset
A special Laced-exclusive 3LP collector’s boxset featuring both of the soundtracks above and a slipmat adorned with Caryll Runes – the perfect collector’s piece for die-hard Bloodborne fans. The collector’s box and slipmat are available to purchase separately if fans already own the original Bloodborne soundtrack on vinyl and want to bring it together with Vol. 2. 10th anniversary come up/been should have been the moment to port the game to PS5 and PC.....
@AndyKazama I think Sony will wait till the PS6 launch at the earliest.
For me, the only hope for Bloodborne is the PS6 presentation event...if it doesn't happen at that event, my hope for a return is gone.

Crazy that everyone but PlayStation is willing to acknowledge Bloodborne's existence at this point.
We need a shiny Bloodborne live-action show on HBO. I see it as the only chance to get a Bloodborne Remastered.
I would rather a full remake/remaster (particularly from Bluepoint) to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
To leave this game languishing in 30fps hell is a crime!
Some of you make out like this game has been completely erased from the face of the earth and that it's unplayable.
It's playable on PS5. If you want to play it so much, then go play it.

Thats a fair point, however take a look at the demon souls remake and its hard to keep that sentiment.

There's no way in hell this franchise is dead. From is just being a pain with it all cause they want to be the ones to work on it. For some reason they don't even want Blue point touching a remake. Bloodborne will not go the way of The order 1886, or similar one offs. Sony/From know what they have in this.
I think if Nintendo didn't hit them up for that online duskbloods game to be on switch, maybe Bloodborne 2 would already be in pre-production.
I bought (preordered) the Bloodborne Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 LP Collector's Boxset. Worth it. A hunter must hunt... and listen to great music.
@Throb when ps6 hits, most of 1st party will not be in position with a game at the ready, if you break down all the studios and what the pipeline looks like. So Bloodborne would be a huge system seller to launch with ps6. That's my guess as well. And didn't From themselves say something about "maybe a game for newer hardware" when questioned about bloodborne in an interview last year?

Very cool, but also not what I want.
Getting GTA VI and (possibly) Half Life 3 before anything Bloodborne is legitimately pretty wild to think about.

Bloodborne is still fine as is. I played it 2 days ago. Maybe they feel like they want to be careful touching this masterpiece before we have comments like "it doesn't have the same atmosphere as the original."
I hate that Sony keeps snubbing Bloodborne even for its 10th anniversary. Meanwhile, they will keep reminding you that TLOU is a thing.
