A supposed mistake on Bandai Namco Europe's YouTube channel has revealed that Tales of Xillia is going to be the next Tales title to be remastered.
Fans have been waiting on this announcement for months, with the publisher teasing that a big reveal would be happening before the end of summer.
According to the leak, the announcement video itself is scheduled for next Monday — but it was somehow set live well ahead of time. Needless to say, it was taken down almost immediately.
However, the only evidence that we have to go on is a screenshot that's now bouncing around between social media and Reddit. Originally captured by Lowedelta on X, it clearly shows a skit scene from Xillia.
Assuming it's real, Bandai Namco's seemingly paid the price for keeping things under wraps for so long. All eyes are now on Monday's rumoured reveal.
As it stands, Tales of Xillia has been locked to the PS3 ever since its debut all the way back in 2011, along with its 2012 sequel, Tales of Xillia 2. The hope is that this is a remastered duology, rather than a single re-release of Xillia, but again, we'll have to wait for the full reveal.
