Not expecting something for free, but when I saw it on the store I hoped to find a 1-time DLC for older users, like 1 million credits for $10 or a discounted 2 million option.

I wish the color palette stuck closer to the series, it's throwing off the whole look. Game itself looks decent enough, the 3 modes seem like fun fits & varied.
Just need Whyte as Qwark's VA to be confirmed, this premise needs the voice to be right.

S-Snake? Guess they wanted the easy route reusing a bunch of Hancock's moves. Of the Seraphim S-Hawk would have been cooler, since Daz Bones has never been playable & they'd still get to cheap out reusing some of Mihawk's moves.

@PegasusActual93 Yeah I'm exaggerating for effect, but I wouldn't call the wait periods long either. Last time I went to a gun store it took like an hour at most, from picking one to walking out. For me at least, long would be waiting multiple hours or even having to return another day.

It really is about the gun culture aspect imo, even places with plenty of guns like México don't revere ownership or make it as easy to buy a pistol, much less a large gun. In the US you can go into a large store like Walmart and walk out with a rifle in like 10 minutes (may take a bit longer in some States), you just can't recreate that truth in another country.

It looks pretty nice for it being early days. A lot to still do obviously, but not bad at all.
It's weird that Aang seems to only be using air bending to fight, I'd expect him to mix in the other elements, like Korra's doing. Her main combat element is fire & it's reflected properly here with most of her combo's opening with a fire attack.

Remembered P1 & P2 exist! I think remasters of the PSP versions could be very doable, like P3P got, PSP EP deserves a worldwide release after all these years. Would be nice to give them more voice acting, but I wouldn't expect Atlus to invest that much into such ports.

I'm way more sensitive to motion sickness with first-person games so I'm very happy for this mode. I'll likely get the complete edition once the new expansion is out

@nomither6 CTR is also my favorite karting game of all time! While I despise Jak X, LBPK is a very fun karting game.
What I mean is that it was the last Naughty Dog Crash game and after that we only had Crash bash before it went multiplatform. Similarly the other 2 franchises also had 1 more game, The Lost Frontier and LBP3, before Sony lost interest in continuing them (for various reasons).

The most shocking thing here as that TheChineseRoom made a competent combat system.

I think the money route is plushies, rather than plastic figures, with Astrobot wearing different outfits from other 1st and 3rd party games.
Just never release a kart game as that was the beginning of the end for Crash, Jak and LBP as mascot properties.

Gameplay has always been the weak point for the studio, & one would think they're cognizant of this. Hopefully they don't throw a gazillion dollars into it and budget it responsibly, like Remedy did for Firebreak.

It's a neat piece of tech, just prohibitively expensive.
I wish the comparisons were clearer here, it would be good to at least know the power profiles used for both machines.

@B_Lindz probably a lot less, Sony would undoubtedly subsidize it & cut some corners to hit closer to Switch 2 price. This is sold at $1K for profit with both Asus and MS taking a bite of that margin.

A full-on remake makes sense if this is meant to target everyone & isn't just an excuse to put the game on PS like GoW1 was.

This is why they have Nixxes and Bluepoint as in-house solutions. With plenty of 3rd parties like Sabre & Panic Button that can do the work too.

Cheaper than a PS5 Pro at launch is interesting given PS5 prices have only risen with time. Would PS6 launch at $600 while the PS5 Pro is still $750 and the PS5 Slim $550? If PS5 prices drop $100-150 next year across the line we'll see some validity to the rumors.

SE usually hits in the art department, specially for FF games, but I question Kain's fit, I would never have recognized him in that without the pic showing his dragoon armor in the back (the rest are fantastic). Though it doesn't really feel like Dissidia without the playable big bads.

I put an ungodly amount of hours on this game and a fair amount on the Vita version too, rough as it was. I'm surprised other kart racers haven't copied the weapon system, allowing you to stack & make more powerful weapons.

Girl from tropical island is wearing a bikini, short-shorts & has a tan, then throw in some fighting gloves so you remember she's here to fight. It's about as generic as can be, with only the thick bracelets standing out. Her costume 3 look is much better, and color matched to her powers. All that said, she does look fun to play.

@4fold did you watch the trailer? You can see plenty of jiggle in the victory scene over Zafina, and a tasteful amount when talking to Sergei & during her ultimate move.

Just drop Duodecim on the PS Store like they did for Resistance Retribution please. I don't even need trophies, I just want the game to be out of PSP hell.

There's really no need to be cheap on a "Deluxe Edition" of a game.

@PuppetMaster Sorry to intrude, but Remedy is doing all that too just at a smaller scale given they're not Capcom sized. They're making a Max Payne remake and Control 2, so they are giving their fans what they want while making new things. To continue your Capcom comparison this is their Exoprimal, a multiplayer shooter that tried something different & failed.

It's wild that you'll now be able to have a complete 3v3 all Goku fight without a single repeat character or a fusion, count is at 6 Goku's & 4 Vegeta's (counting Super Baby 2).

The eventual Trilogy pack is where it's at for physical collectors, or maybe a special 4-pack that features Reunion as well with the classic Buster Sword menu screen as box-art.

Time for the expanded version that adds a ton of content and leaves people that already got the game without an upgrade path.

I still wonder what Sony-Bungie's expectations of it are to quantify a success, it's a niche extraction shooter where the biggest player is something like Tarkov.

I really don't like shared health-bars in tag fighters, but I'm willing to give this a chance. Hopefully there's 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 modes at launch, unlike with DBFz.

ASW basically pioneered the "simple mode" controls back in the Blazblue 2 days, and have stuck to them since, I trust their balancing that with traditional controls.

That looks way better than the One's Justice games. I'm surprised they kept the blood in, that's usually a big thing the arena brawlers never have.

I fully expect next-gen to release and be the last Xbox console, because right now it seems to their benefit to have a home console for GamePass and games. That said, I wouldn't put it past MS to decide it's better to cut costs by eliminating hardware altogether as soon as possible, as the only place they seem to want to spend money on is on their AI wing.

Goku, Vegeta and Gohan make up a sizable portion of that number, especially if we count the fusions. lol

First matter of business for Year 2 should be getting the GT and og DB side filled up more, it's criminal that only kid Goku is there for the og. Also new stages, game really needs new & more varied stages at this point.

If they said $15 for the combo and the money goes to a cleaner experience with less ads, or a bigger money pot, I could see it making sense, but $40 for the full package is crazy.

I've never had to replace a dualsense battery yet, but I'm all in for an easier process. I've changed dualshock 4 and PS Vita batteries, and while they're fairly doable jobs a process that doesn't require you dismantle the whole package would be nice.

The Savage Land looks fantastic

They're betting big on selling skins and cars by the truckload, likely thanks to NetEase's own success in that front with Marvel Rivals. We'll see if it pays off, but it's at least a unique approach to this kind of game.

Big asterisk on limiting collabs to what they think "makes sense" especially in a game that's playing with surrealism & dream logic, as we saw in the campaign trailer. By spring they could be adding Freddy Krueger and argue it makes sense given the story.

It's about middle of the road for the GoW themed controllers. Better than the awful one for Ascension and the lame one for '18 (the custom PS4 Pro it came with was gorgeous), but below the Ragnarok controller.
My favorite efforts are still the PSP's. The red one with Kratos face on the battery plate for CoO and the black with red buttons and highlights for GoS, were pretty darn good.

They found an untapped niche in the extraction-shooter genre, with this sci-fi extraction-brawler idea. Hope it pays off for them, Grasshopper is a solid AA developer with unique games.

Game looks good and using the King in Yellow as a story base is never a bad idea. I wonder if the eclipsed sun iconography that's so potent in this is the yellow sign?

Liam is a wonderful choice for Logan! Game looks gorgeous, bloody and brutal.

To my ears the dub sounds perfectly fine, except the main character. I've never seen a dubbed Mifune film, so I can't tell if the voice is on purpose or just a miscast.

@Hesse they didn't include the War of the Lions content because they wanted to remain "true" to the og PS1 game, it's the same argument Atlus made when the remake of Person 3 didn't include the FES and Portable content, or SE themselves with the latest remakes of FF1-6. Even though the existence of a Classic mode in this for purists would in theory allow for the Modern mode to feature all the extra content/QoL features from WotL to be here.

I expect them to sell the extra classes and characters as a little DLC for $15 or so, even though it was optional content that was just included for free on PSP.

Maybe hire Nightdive to remaster the Marathon Trilogy for consoles & PC in the meantime? That's likely to earn some good will on a fairly simple project that's fully outsourced.
