I could see Focus Interactive throwing Cyanide a lifeline since they've worked together a lot in the past.

I'm not necessarily against doing skimpier armor sets specially if it works both ways, a good barbarian build wearing a leather diaper and boots is classic fantasy stuff, but I feel like this doesn't really fit the grimdark tone of the franchise.

The cartoonishly small head on the big woman is sending me. XD I dig the artstyle, though it's a big tone shift from the rather serious main games.

@PuppetMaster Colossus was wish casting rather than me expecting him to show up in the baser roster, just love that character.
If Hulk isn't a grappler, guess there won't be any, as he is closest to the mold ArcSys likes for them. Uncommon for ArcSys but I think FighterZ doesn't either.

Never got around to playing Guacamele 2, but had a blast with the first one on Vita. Drinkbox makes fantastic games.

Credit where it's due, French Bread manage to make an enhanced release without making the name longer and more incomprehensible.

I hope they reveal Colossus, the game needs a good grappler like Tager and Potemkin.

@j2c buy the most-complete edition 2 years from now and you'll have both asks in there. They added 1v1 in FighterZ after a couple of years so the option will likely arrive here eventually, just don't expect them to balance it like Skullgirls did.

If they want to go nuts they'll release it at $60, but it will most likely be $70 keeping to the current standard. They want to sell shark cards and maximizing good will with the initial price will help towards that, along with maximizing the install base larger.

So now the only value of making a console your primary is for playing purchased games in alt accounts? This is just creating friction for friction's sake again.
There wasn't anything wrong with the old system of no checks for the primary PS5/4 (it's been my primary PS5 for 4 or 5 years now, why does Sony need a monthly check in from me?). Nor even with the old-old system- where as long as your system was registered to your account you could play any installed game offline (still how it works on Vita).

He's 31, right? He's on the younger side for a movie Bond, but I could see it happening, it's been long enough since the last Irish Bond.

I played it on Vita many years ago and had a blast. It's one of my favorite FF's along with 4 and 7, and it takes the top spot in story.

@Yousef- Yeah, I'm fine with either option at this point as long as we get some decent QOL improvements in them. The first game in particular needs a way to adjust the encounter rate, having a fight every 4 steps becomes annoying real fast.

Great addition, I stopped playing fairly early into the game because I felt like I was missing important context. Decided I should watch the anime before returning to the game and never got around to doing either. lol

@nessisonett hoping and praying that they do. It's like they exist just to show us things can get worse than the land tailing missions.

I'm really happy to now finally be able to play as base GT Vegeta in a Tenkaichi game, before it's only been SSJ4 with every other Vegeta being the Baby possessed versions. Hope the mustache is added as an accessories!

I think there's some real truth here. Just wonder if they'll get new remasters with new music and scripts (like they got on PSP), or if Atlus will give them the P3P treatment where it's just the PSP game with trophies.

Black Flag is a great pirate game and a mediocre AC game, it's probably going to be a hard balancing act if they're adapting the game to the modern AC style. Ideally you'd want to enhance the shore leave sections of the game with better combat, stealth and movement, but without keeping people away from the more memorable sailing side because you made on-foot things harder to get through.
If they don't take this opportunity to make the "follow this guy to eavesdrop" missions much less of a pain to do it will all have been for naught.

That's great! I think Ubi was too hopeful in their expectations for this, given the franchise had been shelved for like a decade before this and the last few games weren't super loved. They needed to build back brand trust, which IMO Lost Crown and Rogue have done.

There's really no saving that he married his adoptive sister, blood related or not, that's just weird. Changing his previous 2 main-game appearances to make it a "childhood friends" situation rather than a "adoptive siblings" situation is just going to make another part of the lore loving fandom mad.

@PuppetMaster They will never mention that she was 17 ever again. If for whatever reason it's brought up again they'll just quietly bump her up to 18, or do 27 and claim the old 1 was a misprint.

@KundaliniRising333 Where can I read about the reason for the director leaving? I've never seen that story about Capcom denying him resources as the reason for him leaving after finishing the game or I guess publishing it, if we're calling it unfinished on release.

I really need to get around to playing it, specially now that DLC seems to be in the horizon. I loved the first one on PS3, and even bought the Switch port years ago to play it again.

This makes it even more baffling that they didn't make Bluepoint remaster or remake the game for PS5. lol

MS would have to be wiling to take a big hit not porting games to PS and Nintendo, which by all accounts has been very profitable. Like with Sony, I don't think it would count for live-service games so we'd still get Forza, Halo MP and COD so there's some safeness there.
I just don't see MS taking the hit they would need to take to do this while Nadella is in charge. They're already throwing all the spare cash & more into the AI blackhole, so maximizing profits everywhere else is paramount for them.

Call of the Sea was a lot of fun and really stuck with me so I will for sure play this.

A cleaner look fits the Bond brand better, just keep the 007 logo in the touch pad and let the gold/black colors make the statement. Having the game's name in the back seems mandatory for some reason, which is fine I guess.

I was hoping the city would take up a much bigger portion of the map. It looks huge in comparison to older maps, but still positively tiny overall.

Hope there's some improvements there for the base console too.

Ready to put on the clown makeup again, but getting new naming conventions for the games does seem like a real sign we're getting new ports. I doubt they would get the remake treatment at this juncture, but PSP ports/remasters with some QOL & balance adjustments is doable.

Those CGI screenshot avatars look pretty bad. Baffled as to why Claire & Ada get a pic from much older projects when the rest are using the modern appearances.
Since it's the 30th Anniversary, shots of their PS1 looks would have been cooler, either from the cut-scenes or the actual character models. I would def use a RE1 Jill avatar.

I hope there's a route where you join them in their evil ways instead of breaking up the criminal ring. That could be good fun, but with all the backlash I'm guessing the game takes itself too seriously for that option.

After doing it for DS2, makes sense to get the whole series ported over too, can't complain about a free res bump and slighty upgraded graphics. Hopefully 3 and Genesis aren't far behind, they likely have more room to enhance the graphics from what we got on PS4.
