Everything we've seen of Onimusha: Way of the Sword so far has pointed towards a project that's utterly packed with potential — and this latest trailer from Tokyo Game Show 2025 is no different.

Still set to release on PS5 next year, this revival of Capcom's classic series certainly looks the part visually, and there seems to be a seriously satisfying edge to the blade-heavy gameplay. In short, this is clearly one to watch.

Plus, this latest look does sport some intriguing story hooks; protagonist Musashi is actually killed by the demonic hordes, but his Oni Gauntlet brings him back to life and sustains him as he cleaves a bloody path through Kyoto.

Having said all of that, we're just not sure how to feel about the English dub. Now don't get us wrong, we love hearing UK-based voice actors landing roles in big projects like this, but it just sounds a bit... off in this case.

It's no biggie — Way of the Sword's going to let you choose between the original Japanese voicework and the English dub — but we do wonder what dub enthusiasts make of the examples peppered throughout this trailer.
