@oconnoclast lol more people are starting to think that. In the event that was the case, id have some serious questions for PlayStation leadership as to how they allowed that to happen. That wouldn't be a good look on them so I have my doubts that's the case despite how incompetent Blu Box looks.

Sony better be thanking their lucky stars that they secured Insomniac because they're carrying PlayStation big time.

This is what happens when you starve your fans for so long when it comes to info. You get a bunch of fake nonsense. Playstation has the fakest insiders and the current Playstation leadership is antagonistic in the moves they make towards the hardcore base.

Rant out of the way. Project Eve looked fun. Forespoken, the story doesn't sound too hot but the gameplay looks alright. GT7 looks good. Insomniac still the MVP of PlayStation right now, they're crazy over there. Ghostwire looked cool, i'm looking forward to that. God of War looked ok(definitely looked like a cross gen game). The trailer really didn't deliver to me.

Overall, the showcase was weak on the surprises other than Wolverine and Kotor. Stuff like Abandoned look even stranger by the minute by not showing up lol.

All the people mentioning "they were bought for VR" clearly isn't seeing all the PR and some of what the devs are saying they're working on.

So many people on my friends list already has this game preorder. I already can tell this will be the highest selling Tales game yet.

Look at all the messes since "we believe in generations" last year. Put it all together. Since Jim took over, it has been one nonsense after the other. The worst PlayStation boss ever and he's not a full year in yet in charge of a new generation. He's what happens when you put a "totally" corporate suit in charge of PlayStation. You get mix messaging, dead silence and testing to see how much ***** you can get away with. People say it's not just him but he's the common denominator here.

Thank you! Playstation is about to save of from all these lackluster showcases in that happened in 2021😊😂(I kid). I'd like to see what Guerrilla's other team is working on though I don't have any high expectation it will be shown. My expectations aren't too high for this one but I do expect a decent showcase at least.

@Keyblade-Dan idunno man, this Playstation seem pretty determined to get you to buy this. More than they did for some of their games from their own studios lol. There might be a couple of accolade trailers and a holiday 2021 Playstation trailer already in the works. This game could be on the front page of the store for a while too. Kat rolling over in her grave right now.😢😢

@JB_Whiting Not that I know of. I haven't seen a game do it yet. Not when the upgrade is down the line(meaning not day one with the release of it appearing on PS Now). Nioh 2 does but that all arrived on the service at the same time. Maybe they will update it now that I really think about it lol.

I would play Ghostrunner but the PS5 version comes out next month and ive been waiting for that so i'll skip downloading and playing the PS4 version on PS Now. Good month but nothing for me in terms of new releases considering ive already played the other two games listed.

Nah, not really but they've done pretty decent this year thus far with PS Plus games so i'll cut them some slack. Not every month is going to be fire.

When they made the Nixxes announcement, it was pretty obvious what was up. What's funny is the subtle spin that they do on PC announcements at times during the announcements. Almost like they're damage controlling. Like on the day of the Nixxes announcement. Hermen Hulst was like "they helped us with Killzone SF on PS4". I was like "look at this gaslight 😂". Like this buy isn't 99% about PC porting. Then comes the news today from Jim: "Yeah, we bought them to do PC ports" lol

That's a ridiculous gap for this region. I'd like to see the digital numbers for this. Still, devs may have to going to half to be careful how about putting their games on gamepass because it could lead to future games by them being expected on gamepass by the xbox audience. When the sales end up low, MS is going to come in and want it on gamepass again but this time at a lower cost. Basically the dev loses negotiating power.

@Ralizah Yep and it shows every time Sony does an event in the comment section. Sony has inadvertently fostered it through their own rhetoric in their obsession of promoting AAA blockbusters along with rolling out the red carpet for other AAA publishers promoting games like COD etc and what happens is that a lot of the base don't even consider indies as games at all.

The Nixxes Software joining PlayStation Studios move is really about PC porting. If Jim or Hermen are out there saying otherwise, they're gaslighting you. You should know by now what these two are about.

They should probably have ate the PS5 features cost in this case even though they list the improvements which is cool. I can see a lot of complaining in regards to that. They messed up the reveal in a way imo by not explaining more how extensive the Iki dlc is going more into detail. Instead they showed little cuts, that wasn’t a good move and people will start to look at stuff like the “lip sync” stuff and start to complain about you charging them for that.

Yes! Housemarque deserves this security, they're an outstanding studio that makes great games. Returnal was absolutely fun and nerve racking(which added to the fun even more lol). Now Nex Machina 2 is a possibility in the future......somewhere down the line lol. I know Sony didn't buy them for arcade games but this being done the the side shouldn't hurt😊

Heading for the Platinum on this. Hopefully the DualSense implementation is good. Second time buying this game(bought it on Switch) but like I said I need that Platinum. All my Supergiant games have been on Playstation till now and have the Platinum for all of them.

Yes, they need to bring Resistance back at some point. I made a bet that after Spider-Man 2, they will make one more game this generation(or at least announce it) and that's a new Resistance lol. I'm sticking with that bet.

Insomniac really knows how to grab attention on twitter lol. Got to give them credit, they've really ran the show for Playstation since the PS5's launch with great updates to Miles Morales giving fans what they want(even stuff they didn't ask for) and now all the little cool stuff associated with this game seemingly.

Hermen Hulst out here gaslighting. Just to be clear, when he’s talking about Japan, he’s just talking Capcom, Square, the big guns. They’re going to money hat those. F everybody else so all those smaller Japanese titles you love so much of the past, they don’t support those (or they're not going out of their way for them like the big guns unless it's very western influenced) anymore, those companies are on their own. They have no interest when it comes to 1st party Japanese development in terms of recruiting Japanese talent. The Team Asobi part i'm not even falling for that, Astrobot is cool but I dont' like it THAT MUCH. Astrobot better not fail or you can possibly say bye to the rest of the Japan Studio and they'll come up with some ***** excuse of why it happen and how Japan is so important to them.

Poor Cerny, had him go out there talking about how the PS5 was going to revolutionize game design. But they're out here designing games with the PS4 in mind indefinitely. Maybe Cerny should have said "at least halfway into next generation". I feel bad for him😟😂

Not even surprised, he refused to commit to either way on whether it was going to be PS5 only or not. I knew then that this was going to happen. That's the way Jim works. Anyway I didn't expect the game this year anyway so i'm not disappointed with that.

New benchmark on consoles. Guerilla Games never fails to impress with the visuals it seems. But the combat looked improved. The traversing and physics too. So much little details going on. I think they delivered today. Now I just need that release date.

So im assuming this is part of the reason why they got rid of PS Communities. Well played Jim, well played.
