I'm not putting any stock into this demo. I already know the full game will be greatness. So this demo will not determine whether I buy day one because I will. I'm downloading right now more so to check performance and see how it looks on my LG C2 and QLED.

Well, I need to make the time somehow between now and the end of September to play the main game lol. With all the good games out and coming out, that's going to be tough.

I thought it was Onimusha at first lol. I'm definitely interested...no, im excited.😀😁. I didn't think Capcom had any other game to announce outside of their own showcase so this surprised me some.

It was better than PlayStaton's trash but even then it was still mid imo. Talking from a 1st party/exclusive perspective, that's what I mostly judge these showcases on.

River City Girls 2 finally got it's 60fps patch.....after 6 months so I started playing that again.

Going to play Street Fighter 6 also. So i'll have these two games in rotation.

Of course, it's all about Street Fighter 6 for me til Final Fantasy XVI arrives which is GUARANTEED to be another hit this year. So at that point im going to put Street Fighter 6 aside for weeks til I finish Final Fantasy XVI. It's not like Street Fighter 6 is going anywhere since the game will be fully supported by Capcom til like 2028 lol.

I have 0 surprise from the review scores. Everything I saw in trailers (and played in the beta) screamed that it was going to review extremely well. Capcom continues to deliver for gamers.

Im still a traditionalist when it comes to multiplayer. Sell me the ***** game with a decent amount of maps/unlocks and we'll go from there.

I really hate the fortnite/apex etc etc model. It's why I just play Battlefield 4 still til this day when I want want my multiplayer fix. I hate this balancing act Naughty Dog has to do. And Bungie is having to oversee it and all the other gaas projects. It freaking sucks. It's part of the reason why im not looking forward to any of them despite not even knowing what most are.

Not exploitive enough long term. That's all you need to know about that model. It's unbelievable where the studio is now. No ETA on nothing. NOTHING!

On Gotham, Sony should be thanking their lucky stars they bought Insomniac. From PlayStation's mvp to PlayStation's best studio. Period.

Naughty Dog ***** around way too much. Should have moved on to the new IP after TLOU2. Instead they started doing an unnecessary remake and messing around with project that initially failed. Now we are multiple years in and with no time table for anything new from them. Gross.

Biggest winner: Capcom. I mean I don't really have to explain why lol. Id put Helldivers behind them because it was a fantastic trailer that even though it's third person now, it still gave me that feeling the first game had and I expect it will have a lot of the same things in the end that made it really fun(and hilarious).

Biggest Loser: I accidently voted FairGame$ but I really meant to vote for PlayStation Studios that of course includes FairGame$. It should be obvious as to why if you watched that showcase expecting to see some good updates on 1st party projects.

It was poor. If I include all games and just judged based on that, id give it a lot higher score but this is the PlayStation Showcase. You starved us for more than a year and a half. I want to know about the 1st party exclusives. You showed up with 4 live services, NONE showed gameplay. Spider-Man 2 was the lone single player. Helldivers 2 was your co-op. So basically after all this time you show up with Spidey 2 and Helldivers 2. Epic fail.

Dog ****. 100% a reflection of how devoid of personality Jim and Hermen are. I could only speak up for a few games either because I played the first game or I played the beta of it in some way. Kaz, House, Tretton, Layden and Shu(in his PlayStation jail cell) are rolling over in there beds right now looking at how just unfun a lot of this crap looks.

Expected the change when I found out it was basically AAA now. Excited never the less. Spreading Democracy this year!

Encountered this last year. I restarted the game and restored my licenses and it seemed to fix it. Then it started happening again yesterday. I think it resolved itself but then again I may have been done playing the game for the day and not realized it hadn't been resolved. Will turn on the game later to see.

That sucks. They have their reasons but that's two games down already. Games that will not get made and will not be in PlayStation's lineup.

They're not playing with the Syphon Filter games lol. I think they're only missing 1 game at this point.

I have to check my library because I think I already bought Sakuna: Rice of Ruin. I have so many games that I bought but haven't played so I have to be check these lists half the time in games im interested in.

Going to try out Humanity though at some point.

Im on PS Premium and funny enough will likely re-up it come November when time to renew. But the reality is that I rarely ever play PS+ games on it other than PS1/2 classics. And even then i've only played the Syphon Filter game and Hot Shots Golf. It's not that there's not a great selection of games. Quite the opposite, it's just that the games that I actually buy end up taking priority. Something about buying my games makes me want to play them more.

The last game I played on plus was DMC5:SE. I usually just redeem the monthly games and go back to what I was playing. Sometimes I'll download a game on Premium with the intent to play it soon after I finish the current game im playing only to not play it and play another game that I actually bought whether it's new or in my backlog.

The plates are far too plain for my liking. They could have at least tried another color if they're were going to go that route of just slapping a basic picture on it. I'll just keep my galactic purple.

@Acquiescence Agreed although i'm still in the belief that this deal will eventually go through somehow. MS been trying to play the little guy role when they're not and have plenty of resources at there disposal to get where they want to go but instead want to take the easy/lazy route because of their own incompetency over the years. They shouldn't be rewarded for that.

Looks cool. Like I said before, im going to try it out based on the who the studio is. I'm more excited interested in/excited about Arc Raiders though. Having said this, these titles will face the same uphill battle other titles have faced with me because they're free to play. I don't play nor like any of them currently.

I tend to not like what im given as base before paying nor the monetization of them and non of them gameplay wise has been good enough for me to tolerate it. When someone announces a game and says it's free to play, that's a strike against it automatically in my world. So I'll see if Embark can buck that trend.

Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 have been the big winners in every State of Play they've been in now that I think about it lol(in terms of positivity).

People saying that they wish that so many publishers would stop chasing this but these publishers have already decided that it's worth it. Even if it means that they would have to let employees go if it flops, even if it means the company goes under. The dream of lining up the CEOs pockets with cash is the name of the game. Those who have shareholders, are definitely pushing for it. So we are going to have a graveyard of developers fail in the end and some will be disband. Playstation's devs aren't immune too.

Looking at the trailer in slow-mo. Got damn man, Capcom you dawgs. The animations and muscle deformation, top notch.

Destiny 2 Lightfall-no gameplay shown

The PSVR2 stuff, i dunno what to think. It's difficult to judge VR trailers expecially when you don't have one.
Still, nothing stood out.

Humanity- I never have much imagination when it comes to these type of games, so I can't see myself messing around with this. There's a demo so maybe i'll try that out.

Street Fighter 6 trailer- Looks cool. Especially Cammy. The stages all look great.

The Ninja Storm game was basically a collection? They did say you can play some new character. I dunno I likely will skip this one.

Highlights for me is the SF6 trailer. The State of Play reminded me that I should be trying out Destiny 2 since my friends play it. Im like the last holdout
and I don't even have a shooter to play outside of Battlefield 4.

Cammy looks dope. They look all looks cool but I won't be playing any of them outside of messing around with them in training mode. The stages looks sick.

The statement from Bethesda doesn't sound like retirement me. I'm already convinced he'll pop up somewhere else although I don't see him creating a new studio at this point. He'll probably get involved with 1 or 2 more games and then bounce for good.

@nomither6 Calling them old heads may have been a little much lol. I'll just say that there was more than a few that didn't return to the scene because they didn't like SFV.

Yeah it's crazy, too bad I can't play at that level necessary to pull it off. And because of that prize pool, the odds against you jumped up significantly lol. There will be so many new people after that prize. Online warriors that never play offline at tournaments(nor participate in online tournaments), pros from other fighting games, new blood in general and old heads from back in the days like 3rd Strike/SF4 pros.. All chasing that life changing money😂.

Shame. I was told online by PC nerds how this game was made for PC players. Game came out, seems to suffer similar fate as the PS5 despite the visual improvements. They say price was a big reason why but I don't buy that. I think the numbers would have been similar even at $30.
