They pretty much abandoning Mark Cerny road to ps5. I mean your going to get some faster loading but that's it now. They've pretty much given up on the whole game design thing already. It's all about what what will work for PS4, PS5 and PC at the same time. Keeping it conventional. Profound sadness.

I hope it's not filled with them lame ass puzzles like 2018. Hoping the exploration in this game is better because that sucked too. The world was so uninteresting.

I told you guys from the get go what they were doing. All PlayStation is doing is slowly following Xbox's direction. That's all they have really been doing since Jim Ryan claimed(lied) about believing in generations. Day and date releasing will happen. And with that expect even more bugs and glitches etc than before. No more designed for the PS5 coding to the metal anymore soon. PlayStation is becoming a glorified EA/Activision operationally.

No one who's been paying a attention since Jim Ryan and Hermen took over should be surprised by this. NO ONE.

@J2theEzzo Well, yeah thats how it works. They need to support the game over time somehow so adding new content is natural. That doesn't mean the game isn't complete and worth the asking price at launch. That's any game that has a community.

18 is fine. Characters in Street Fighter receive new animations on their existing moves along side their new moves all together. That's on top of their new character visuals. Tekken since like 5 or before has copy and pasted their moves and slap a new coat of paint on them using the same visual style. That's how they've been able to maintain such a large roster through the years. Even now, it looks like they'll be doing the same for Tekken 8 in terms of their moves even though they've finally took the step and are starting from scratch on the character model/visuals.

You add the 18 character + the single player content and online stuff they've add to SF6 and you have a complete game this time out of the gate. More content than any SF game since maybe Alpha 3 off the top of my head so i'll give Capcom props for coming correct this time and joining the likes of other fighting games that have already figured out the stuff fighting games should have in todays age.

So many will sign up. So little will get in😢

Looks like Ken was accused of orchestrating a criminal plot which forced him to abandon his family and business and go into hiding. So that's his current situation apparently.

This looked amazing. You know the vibes it gives off, expect greatness from this.

Gameplay looks fun. Im expecting a bad story at the same time lol. But it's on my list of games to check out.

Id say they beat my expectations. That's two good State of Plays in a row as the last one was in June which was really good too. It's not earth shattering but it wasn't a wasted 20 minutes.

My expectations are low even though the last State of Play was pretty good and was one of my favorite State of Plays so far(and funny enough, one of the best games showcases this year even though it's not THE showcase we're looking for when it comes to PlayStation).

Still have it installed but haven't played it yet still(PS5). So they added more content to the game today too huh(for free). I dunno when im going to get around to this as im playing other things with my free time but free stuff is nice. Hopefully i'll have played and finished the game by the time this expansion comes out(which will probably be paid but that's fine).

Jokes aside, it wouldn't be a problem if the outer cover wasn't promoted. Come with a better outer cover next time instead of the extra cheap cardboard box that's more flimsy than your average pizza box or at least ship it in a package that will protect it better. How you forget the d-pad in a pro/elite controller? I expected a mechanical d-pad maybe. The d-pad sucks in DualSense(due to the overall shape of the controller and the d-pad itself. Even is you couldn’t do anything about the overall shape of the controller, you could have at least addressed the d-pad on its own.) The d-pad is fine for most things but my problem with it surfaces when it comes to fighting games. It's terrible in that department so im sadden that didn't at least make it mechanical.

Well, 505 is the publisher of the PC port of this game as you said. I get the feeling they don't need Sony's permission. They could still had very well despite that ran it by Sony anyway and Sony was like "eh go ahead" as if they don't really care in this case.

I'm not sure if i'm suppose to be impressed by this. These numbers don't tell me how much it sold and I wasn't impressed by the numbers GOW pulled in.

Have high hopes for the game even though its a free to play shooter. Forgot it was even coming out this year, I thought it was always 2023 for some reason. Maybe because I didn't hear any new info earlier in this year.

Both characters look dope. Juri is looking like the first character i'll play when this game comes out(or when it gets a beta, if she's in that beta). Didn't like her SFV iteration but I liked her in SFIV. Hoping I like her in this. Her trailer certainly gives me high hopes.

Awesome news. I look forward to still being terrible at the game without all the lag lol. Dragonball FighterZ Evo 2022 top 8 was crazy by the way. I loved it(except for the millions of ads that made the event run all the way til almost 4:00 am CT).

A welcomed update. Sucks that theirs no VRR for 1440p but i'll cry about it another time or something. I spent what seemed like an hour organizing folders lol.

The Discord Playstation integration is trash. They made it sound like it was just the beginning but it went code dark after that with no eta on anything so I assumed it was final. I can't believe we lost PlayStation communities for this.

Sony can't simply "eat it". MS is doing just that. MS can do that indefinitely too because they're a trillion dollar company who can make up any loses and still profit from like they they didn't lose anything in a quarter. MS seems more concerned with quantity. Treating games as a hivemind rather than individuals. And that's all I thought about as I watched that horrible games showcase today. Xbox has more studios than PlayStation and had more studios than PlayStation at the time even before they bought Bethesda. So what the heck is going on over there? This company had to nerve to launch a console with no 1st party games and years later show up like this. No PlayStation, don't do what Xbox is doing.

Eh I shop at Playstation direct a lot, they do not put a lot of copies of any game on their website on first run.

Will watch. I enjoyed last year's showcase.

I still can't believe Hermen sat up there and had this studio waste their time on this. Like seriously. Most unnecessary move ever. And that's before you even get to the price. smh. No better than EA and Activision here. Next they're going to do God of War 2018 remake in 2024 or some crap.

Interesting tidbit not shown in the trailer is his Sonic Hurricane works as an anti air if hard punch version is used. Great trailer overall. Watching it in slow mo you can see how cool the animations look. I love the way super art level 2 animation looks with his hair flowing and face huffing and puffing. They're really putting some care into details.

I wonder why no Nex Machina. I mean they put Housemarque's other recent games on there. Nex is their best outside of Returnal. Fans of Returnal's gameplay would be interested in checking that out if they haven't. Anyways, it's a good list.

The majority fanbase that wants to buy these exclusives simply do not want the PS4 version of the game. I said this from the beginning and Miles Morales showed this. So it's not a surprise to me. Their maybe 120 million PS4s out there but the fanbase has decided how they want to enjoy these games and simply are willing to wait to do so.
