@QualityGeezer quality varies widely...most pre-order themes suck though (mostly static themes, often without music). A pretty good indicator of a good theme is actually its file size. Dynamic themes with music start usually at around 25 MB but can go up to 200 MB. Themes under 10 MB usually don't have their own music and have just static images.
there are also a lot of scammers on PSN who sell simple themes for high prices.

at this point they pretty much replaced all the content on the disc with patches...so your physical disc is pretty much worthless.

i don't know when but eventually they will do it too. subscriptions are key to picking up new and/or casual video game players.
and microsoft also expanded it to PC and the line-up on there is amazing, even including wolfenstein ii and metro exodus.

i don't think they were very clear if the full game will need two discs in total or the first episode will already take two discs.
but if the first episode will need two discs then i'm glad they're not being cheap by just having one disc and patching the rest via a day-one update.

Google is not going for the traditional video game player. Google is doing a blue ocean strategy like Nintendo did with the Wii to expand the number of people who play games. I think it will do very well with people who usually don’t play games.

well Nintendo already had a low-latency 60 Hz wireless screen: the Wii U gamepad (in some tests it even showed the image one frame before the TV displayed it)

PS4 has no BC: no one cares about BC!
PS5 will have it: BC is a huge deal!

seems like next gen consoles will finally get some good CPUs. then the UI will run much more smoothly and we can actually get usuable web browers on consoles.

and that's why we don't let playstation guys design nintendo characters.
