@kyleforrester87 while I appreciate the idea of only having the first game's characters unlocked it's kind of a chore to unlock so many characters and on the other hand the stage selection screen is an even bigger (beautiful) mess than it ever was. so I would have preferred the traditional method of unlocking fighters and stages.

@carlos82 from what i've seen from persona fans (which are obviously almost all on playstation) it seems to be a very big deal for them.

so I guess the fact that yet another playstation exclusive character is in smash bros. is just being hushed up on this site? i haven't seen it being mentioned anywhere. but this should be relevant news for playstation fans, shouldn't it?

@ShogunRok well one issue could be that there's some heavy discrimination against mature western games going on in Japan. You'll notice that most of the mature western games get a CERO Z rating in Japan which means they have to go into a separate section in a retail store, on PSN you can only buy them with a credit card (not your PSN wallet) and they can't be advertised. You'll also notice that most mature japanese games get a CERO D rating instead, which prevents all of these issues.

what's the point of 8K? you would need an insanely large display and sit way too close to that display to even notice the difference to 4K

@Jaz007 "gets an exclusive from them"? they bought the company. if microsoft wanted to, they could make this an exclusive.

and in five years the UI never got a single redesign. it's still much better than xbox one's mess (even after countless redesigns) but still i would have liked to see improvements

i think the art style doesn't work in motion at all. it's nice to look at screenshots, but when it starts moving it looks terrible

Why are they releasing SIX PlayLink games on the same day? Do they expect me to spend 120 EUR (that's if you buy digitally, 180 EUR if you go retail) on PlayLink games on one day?

so it's basically replacing the whole game. discs these days are just unlock keys.

@get2sammyb actually even that we don't know. on the xbox store it's NOT listed as one x enhanced so i'm wondering if it will have any pro enhancements at all.

funny that they released the drum with the switch version but not the ps4 version. i will have to try if the switch drum works with the ps4 version.

@majkpetr do you have it installed on an external drive? then the rest is on the internal drive. you can see how much space each game that's installed on an external drive uses on the internal drive when you disconnect the external drive and check in storage.

@rjejr it's the first time the game is on sale, so i would grab it now (looking at psprices.com i found that in many cases the first time a game goes on sale it usually has a better sale than the second time it goes on sale)

by the way: the game is now available for pre-load on xbox one and comes in at 88.6 GB. the SEA PSN stores list 105 GB as minimum.

umm..so it's not really a name change. they just let you give yourself an ADDITIONAL name that's not even guaranteed to be displayed in older games.
