Re: PSN Down Again as Sony Acknowledges Widespread Issues

Sony has by far the worst online infrastructure, even worse than Nintendo. (Microsoft has the best.) Difference is Sony wants 60 EUR/a, Nintendo nothing right now and only 20 EUR/a later. And how many times has PSN gotten hacked? It's embarrassing really.

@crimsontadpoles @zazzy i honestly can't believe that they put the horizon dlc badge right on the retail cover. it's not even a sticker that they could take off. yes, the badge does say that you can only get the dlc while the quest is active..but it's only going to be active for two weeks after release date and the retail package will be sold for many many months after that. it's such a strange decision to only have the quest for two weeks. maybe they will re-run the quest in the future..but who knows.

@CylonValis your blood pressure?! unless you're suffering from low blood pressure you don't want it raised lol! you wouldn't even notice high blood pressure, that's why it's so dangerous! what you're talking about is your pulse.

Re: Talking Point: What Free February 2018 PlayStation Plus Games Do You Want?

manu0

the state of plus games for the US and EU is sad. SEA territories got ratchet & clank and knack last month. add to that that plus costs almost nothing there. for example in indonesia you can get 12 months of plus + a full version of fifa 18 for 40 EUR right now. and the regular price for 12 months of plus is 20 EUR. WOW! (and no: it's not that games generally cost less there. games cost about the same as in US/EU)

Re: Review: Kerbal Space Program (PS4)

@Anchorsam_9 considering this game isn't pro enhanced..did you by any chance play it on a pro with boost mode enabled? could you test again for bugs with boost mode disabled? i could well imagine that boost mode could easily break such a complex game.

Re: First Monster Hunter: World Review Is Near Perfect

manu0

@themcnoisy um what? 35/40 is EXACTLY the same as 8.75/10. it's not my own metric. it's called math. and I rounded it (correctly) to one decimal digit as I've never seen any publication give an "out of 10"-score with two decimals. but fine..we can also be conservative and round it to 8.7/10. it's still a score that shows how corrupt famitsu is, especially when you take into account that they were the only publication with a review copy before launch.

Re: First Monster Hunter: World Review Is Near Perfect

@RedMageLanakyn they're not just "handing out high scores". they let you pay for them. that's why they ask developers about their "budget for reviews". they gave sonic forces a 35/40 = 8.8... (and btw: famitsu seems to have been the only publication that even had a review copy for sonic forces before launch)
