@adf86 it's not about what i want. it's about what sony made people expect when they said it's going to be part 2 or they're just getting started or whatever. sony is constantly overhyping their stuff and this website is happily joining in btw (like with this very article).

i remember them saying earlier in the year (i forgot which one it was) "psx (or paris games week) is part 2 to E3!"..yeah right..maybe part 2 in that all of them were underwhelming.

@KratosMD i agree, although those are some weird games that you pointed out that probably no one will want to play in ten years lol ;D
the most important example right now that comes to mind is Smash Bros. Wii U. That game got heavily patched and is a milestone in gaming history. I can't see Nintendo leaving the Wii U eShop open after 2018..it will probably close at some point in 2019. After that it's only a matter of time that they will stop patch distribution.

@Ralizah well get used to it. eventually all digital-only games will become lost and even physical games will be heavily neutered due to patches not being available for download anymore

@wakkawakka maybe you're right. i wasn't specifically thinking about atlus. it's just that, generally speaking, a lot of vita versions don't come to the west while the ps4 versions do.

edit: also, if you really believe that kojima now has complete freedom and can spend however much money he likes then you're pretty delusional...he probably has more freedom with sony than with konami but even sony won't let him spend unlimited amounts of money.

how is that a good trailer for a GAME? A good trailer for a movie? Perhaps. but not for a game. a good one for a game has to contain at least some gameplay, preferably more than half of the trailer.

@Gatatog i thought so too at first but this is from gamesindustry.biz which means this announcement is aimed at investors. and they probably don't care about the game's name but rather what numbers it will pull and when it will release

@wiiware again, the difference between 21st and 26st place is insignificant when you look at how many games are being sold in that region of the charts. you can't tell anything from that in either direction.
