I’m glad I opted to wait for a crazy deluxe, all-inclusive type bundle before buying this game. And then I’ll wait for a sale of at least 60% off. At this rate it might be a while but that’s okay, I’ve got plenty to keep me busy until then!

This reminds me of when Fender and Gibson started buying up every other guitar manufacturer out there, trying to maintain market share and to outdo each other.

Yesterday I took a screenshot on my PS5, and a notification popped up on my phone from the PS app. I looked at it and saw it was a message about automatically sending screenshots to my devices, but I accidentally tapped on something that made it go away. I can’t seem to get it back and there are no settings on the phone app or on my PS5 to set it up. Nothing I’ve been able to find anyway. I’m so bummed! 😹

On PC it’s currently got a 73% on MC, with a 8.5 user rating. Between that info and the jaw dropping trailer, this is definitely a day one buy for me!

If I were paying this much for a setup like this I’d have to pay extra for the third pedal, and I wish they had a gear shift as well. For the price and the market they’re going after I’m shocked they don’t at least have a gear shift as an option. It almost undoes everything else they’ve done. Shifting gears in a car gives you more of a 1:1 connection with it, and would greatly increase the level of immersion felt by such a radical setup. That’s right, radical.

Diablo 3 is the ultimate game for this in my opinion. I can’t agree with Stardew however as the music is a huge part of the game, and it would feel incomplete without it!

I enjoyed getting the plat on the PS4 version but fell off the PS5 version after an hour or two. The game had just overstayed it’s welcome by then. Even if this DLC were very affordable or free for that matter, I doubt it would be enough to bring me back.

I’m noticing far more pop in on PS5 than I remember on the the PS4 Pro version. Also, I’ve had some nasty frame rate issues. At one point I exited a cave and the frame rate fell into single digits for about a full forty seconds. Thank goodness I wasn’t being attacked by a frost troll or something! Technical issues aside it’s so wonderful playing this game again. It’s likely my favorite game of all time. It’s certainly the one I’ve sunken the most hours into.

People can complain all they want that the game has been released multiple times but 1) the PS3 version was so poorly done that the PS4 remastered version was a requirement, and 2) the PSVR version is great for those who want it, and 3) this version is a FREE upgrade and is only $20 if you want some extra goodies. I don’t understand the hate.

1) It was way herder to choose only three titles than I could have possibly imagined.

2) Screw these options, SKYRIM 4 LIFE!!! I’m so happy to be in this world yet again, earning another platinum for it!!! We did it baby! WOOOO!

I was hoping the upgrade wouldn’t be more than $20, this is music to my ears. I can’t wait to get my third platinum for this game! Once the PSVR2 comes out I’ll grab a fourth as I have that version but never loved the gen 1 PSVR as much as I’d hoped.

Thank goodness they got rid of those. I bought one and leveled up as quickly as I used to be able to and let me tell you, it was **so overwhelming**! Confidence REBUILT guys.

PS I didn’t actually buy one of those.

I hope they don’t somehow patch it out. Let people play the games they paid for in the way they most enjoy.

Okay, that really IS a great match. I’d love to see them go all out and do a Fantastic Four / Silver Surfer / Galactus / Doom game or something cosmic and unexpected. I mean even if they do something more obvious like Ms Marvel it’ll be amazing. Whatever it is, it’s a win for gamers.

@fR_eeBritney I’ve heard the same of the new one so it’s likely worth your time. Other than that though just watch the original, not the sequels. The first is brilliant. The second is schlocky but still enjoyable if you go with it. The third movie is irredeemable.

@Amnesiac I lived in Norwood for years and commutes to Boston five days a week. I understand much of it’s a bit run down now which is a shame, but I’ll always have fond memories of walking to the used CD store (no longer there) or through an industrial area to get to the commuter rail.

I genuinely don’t get the problem, the trailer absolutely did it for me. The addition of The Prodigy vs Public Enemy’s Shut Em Up is never gonna hurt.

I’d love it if they fixed that “can’t move in the UI at startup” bug that’s been there since day one. I just had it happen again a couple of days ago. Easiest way around it is to sign in to a guest account and then sign back in to your actual account. What a pain!

I’m interested in the game but don’t want to spend $20 on an online title that could be DOA.

Wow, $25 for this? I figured it’d be $15, maybe $10. Had it been, I’d have grabbed it. At $25… I mean, I paid $28 for the PS5 version of Disco Elysium.

I’ll wait for a steep sale.

I never thought I’d say this but I’m likely to grab an X Box this gen just for Game Pass. Not only is there nothing like it on PS, but I’ve gotta get my Bethesda fix.

Going from the PS4 Pro to the PS5 really feels like an incremental upgrade, outside of the faster loading times. Ah well.

@Northern_munkey Probably because it’s a huge tent pole game that people are still interested in. As long as a site is getting clicks and comments on a game, they’ll release news if and when there isn’t any. If you’re truly tired of a specific game the last thing you want to do is click and comment.

I’m hoping this is a No Man’s Sky situation where they can eventually deliver the game that was promised. If they’re able to do that, I’ll pick it up on PS5, assuming the native version is out by then.

Isn’t the Yuffie DLC free if you have the deluxe edition on PS4? I could have sworn I’d read that somewhere.

This’ll be the third console I own this game on. Will I actually get around to it on PS5? We’ll see!

If it’s hits PlayStation systems it’s a day one buy for me.

I’m interested in this as a pretty walking simulator. I don’t care about the puzzles, which are just obstacles to me, not the main course. This has a 79 meta critic score on PC so I think it’s safe to say I’ll enjoy it

Seems along the lines of Three Fourths Home or Far From Noise, both of which I enjoyed. I’ll end up picking this up.

It’s a fairly niche genre that polarizes people. Also, there’s the price jump which hurts it. I generally buy one or two games a year at full pop—the majority of the games I buy are at steep discount. I’m at a point where I just can’t pay $70 to $90 for a game I know I’ll be able to get for $30 or $40 within a handful of months of release. Sometimes less.

I just started playing Slay the Spire within the past few days and I’m hooked. This looks like it might be a day one buy!

I’m very interested in this, but the $14.99 price tag is a bit steep for me considering my PS4 is full of indie games in my backlog. I’ll wait for a sale!

I’m going to swoop in to defend Virginia, which I absolutely loved. I do think you have to be into things like Twin Peaks and the X-Files to fully appreciate it. It’s one of the few games I’ve replayed after getting the platinum, just so that I could fully focus on the game itself.

So, yeah, unless this game is getting 3/10’s all over upon release, I’m definitely going to pick it up.

I own dozens and dozens of tables, so this is pretty sucky news. If bundles go on sale for 80% off down the line maybe I’ll pick a few up but I’ll never try to flesh out my entire collection again. Like when you go from DVDs to Blu Ray so you only replace the cream of the crop. One problem is now that they’ve done this I can’t buy with confidence as I used to, so I’ll be spending far, far less with them in the future. They should have just charged 99¢ a table as an upgrade charge or something. This is a poor decision as its difficult to cultivate good will and shockingly easy to lose it. Once it’s gone, it’s usually gone for good as people just move on to other things.
