If you liked the quirky adventure game Virginia, you should be keeping an eye on the studio's next game, Last Stop. Variable State's latest effort is heading to both PlayStation 5 and PS4 this summer, and it's just received a brand new trailer.
The game tells the stories of three Londoners whose lives intertwine in a supernatural tale. Featuring full voice acting, this seems like quite a step up for the team, and the game looks to be another intriguing adventure from publisher Annapurna Interactive.
Details are slim, but we do know the game is due out this July on PS5 and PS4, so there's still a few months to go. Are you excited for Last Stop? Stop by and let us know in the comments section below.

I really disliked Virginia, but I'm intrigued by how strange and awkward this game looks.
Virginia wasn't really a game. It was just an experience and not a particularly good one.
I’m going to swoop in to defend Virginia, which I absolutely loved. I do think you have to be into things like Twin Peaks and the X-Files to fully appreciate it. It’s one of the few games I’ve replayed after getting the platinum, just so that I could fully focus on the game itself.
So, yeah, unless this game is getting 3/10’s all over upon release, I’m definitely going to pick it up.
@Grimwood That song when you’re in the bar or whatever that the lady is singing is fantastic. I need to look it up because man did I love that part.
Edit: It’s called Sojourner’s Truth. Very much feel the Twin Peaks vibe from this song. SO DAMN GOOD!
Virgina is great, but not for everyone. I also greatly enjoy Walking Simulators and Visual Novels though.
I’m following this one closely.
That’s funny - the other game Annapurna showed I was like looks like Virginia without the weirdness.
I’ll chime in and say I thought Virginia was great, and would play again with a VR update. I still think the television style smash cuts are an innovation that should be explored more in games.
