@lolwhatno IMHO, Prey is a must play, offering the famous Arkane Studios level design and art style at their best. It's basically Dishonored in a sci-fi setting and you can freely play it as you prefer.
A retail copy is actually cheaper than the digital version, at least here in Italy: Prey is € 20, Prey + Mooncrash is € 30 and The Arkane Collection is € 25 (Dishonored 2 and Prey on disc, Dishonored DE and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider digital).

This review is receiving more comments than the 3 Dishonored games and Prey combined. And mainly because of the PS5 exclusivity affair.
Arkane Studios definitely deserve more love.

The problem is there are no PS4 Pro available, so if my old PS4 decide to die I'd have no way to complete my backlog (no way I'd buy another OG PS4 in 2021...)

@Grimwood Well, if I had the chance to buy me a PS5 I'd just get Demon's Souls with it. Then I'd use it to clean my huge PS4 backlog while waiting for R&C and Returnal to receive a price drop.
I don't think it is a dumb thing to do...

Cons:

• You need a PS5 to play the PS5 version but there is no way you can buy one.

PS4 games I still have to play get PS5 updates, but I can't get anywhere a PS5 to play them.
Therefore, games should not get PS5 updates.

I played DD on 360 years ago and bought it again for PS4 right yesterday! Just started it with no HUD to give it a Souls feeling. Can't wait to throw my big mouthed companions from a cliff again!

I finished it few days ago: if it received many 9/10 it's just because of its name and nostalgia. Just consider it as a new IP and it becomes a 7/10 game with tech issues and a repetitive gameplay...

A working day for me, 7.00 - 13.00, so now I'm quite broken.
Yesterday I beat FF7R so I could start Uncharted 4, but the bed is so comfortable...

Playing this game I felt I was hit by a train more then once.
Only Bloodborne and Alien Isolation were as immersive as TLOU2 for me. 👏

@Jimmer-jammer You should keep trying and once found what triggers the crash, report it immediately to CDPR. This is what a good tester do to earn his money! 😉

@get2sammyb I wasn't joking when I asked if you were writing a review for each version: one for the OG PS4, one for the PS4 Pro and one for the PS5 via BC.
Those are different games according to the users comments.

@Applejackson75 Many games have been released half baked but this is the first time IRC that reviewers consider it a 9/10. For other games they said "it's good but bugged, so it's just a 7/10".

Patches and updates should be a way to improve and add elements to a polished game; they are also welcome if they resolve an unpredictable problem. But if devs start publishing broken games thinking that they will be OK sooner or later, then I'll continue to buy games only months later and at a reduced price. If it wasn't for pre-orders, CDPR would have learnt the lesson.

@Culjoseth If only I had the chance to buy a PS5... I haven't bought GoT only because I'd love to play it on PS5 considering that my OG PS4 sounds like a 90 years old smoker walking up a hill. And obviously Demon's Souls will be my first choice once I'll have the fortune to find a PS5!

@TheArt I played the firts three UC games only when they arrived on PS4 and playing them one after another maybe was too much. This is why I decided to play the remaining two games only once on sale; during Black Friday they were just € 9.90 each for the retail version so I obviously grabbed them!

@TheArt I recently bought UC4 and Lost Legacy but haven't started them yet. I suppose I should play 4 before, right?

I spent € 40 for tbe Goty edition of TW3 with all content on disc, and that was great.
Let's see when I will be able to do the same with CP2077...

I'm halfway through FFVII remake right now and I'm quite sure I'll forget it even existed in few weeks...
BTW, this is how it works now. Once we had monthly magazines with previews or reviews 4/5 pages long. Now it's 4/5 hundreds typos: this clearly change all.

Sony should roll out a new wave of PS5 so maybe we could buy one and play their first party games...

I hope in the future Day One edition of games will be only digital, while the physical copy should arrive 2/3 weeks later with all the patches included on disc.
In this way the rich ones may be the first to play their half baked games, while the poor ones can wait and play them without worrying about their crappy internet connection. 😬

@Gilvin Here in Italy too retailers said the PS5 ordered on 19th november will be available on 15th december, so it may be a common thing for continental Europe.

Do you guys get a trophy when you finally let the PS5 do what you want? Something like "You succesfully installed a PS4 disc game" 🏆... That would ease the pain!

It's impossible to find a PS5 here in Italy, so I have just ordered the biggest white air fryer available in the hope of receiving the console in its place.

I've finally decided to put my hands on FFVII Remake, but I'll get it physical since it is € 10 cheaper then on the Store. My copy will arrive tomorrow, while downloading the game would have take a week! 😂

@nessisonett My OG PS4 turned into an air fryer after The Last Of Us 2. If I put some food behind the console while playing, the powerful jet of hot air will fry it in few minutes!
