@ShogunRok You already mentioned auto-aim, so I bet I can disable it to up the challenge. Anything else that we can custom aside minimap on/off to increase difficulty or raise the immersion level?

@ShogunRok Did you test the game with the D1 patch installed? If not, the game could be even better!

In these years it's hard to satirise because:
1) many nations are ruled by clowns proud of being pure idiots.
2) many nations are full of pure idiots proud of being ruled by clowns.
3) internet is a free, powerful mean that emphasize the worst part of the people, especially of clowns and idiots.

Since I connect my PS4 to internet via smartphone as router I can't use companion apps running on the same phone. Anyone knows a workaround?

@ApostateMage Once cleaned, I also put four of these under my PS4 (I keep it horizontally) so it has more space to dissipate the heat. I painted them with electric blue spray and they look very professional!
EDIT: You could also keep them in their natural look so to match the RDR 2 style...

In Italy the base price is € 75 ($ 86 and £ 66) everywhere, with some retailer selling it at € 69...

@Neolit Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 load a bit faster since I moved them on my external HDD. I lost the paper where I noticed times, but I remeber it was something like 60 seconds against 80... If I have the time, I'll check it again today.

@hulkie I've a 50 gb/month internet plan coming from my smartphone which is more than enough to all my hobbies. Until now... If RDR2 asks me to download more than 50 gb even if I already have the retail copy in my hands I simply not buy it. As many others.

@hulkie Remember GTA V on 360? Disc 1 was named Play Disc and disc 2 Install Disc. I bet it's the same here: install both and then you can use only disc 1 to boot the game.

To me, it could mean "Boobs included, at least a pair" since it comes from Japan...

@Danny_C I suggest to buy the complete edition. The 5 dlc are deadly hard but they will offer you more Alien vibe once beaten the long story, while the 2 movie dlc are a lovely gift to the movie fans.

@MightyDemon82 The first one is surely worthy since is so different from any modern survival. 4 was good years ago, but since it was the first step of the series in TPS it could feel not so good now.

@AFCC Maybe because too many gamers find annoying a game in which you can't shoot a bullet every two seconds. And if you are a war machine, all the fear disappears. Horror games give their best at hardest difficulties and with a limited HUD but those would sound like a nightmare to the majority.
Alien: Isolation is imo the best survival horror this gen, still underrated because of it's pace (looking at you, Pushsquare!)
while Prey is an excellent thriller played on Hard.

@ShogunRok How do you guys choose who's gonna review a certain game? I mean, you can be lucky and have to review a masterpiece, but what when you have to play a disappointing game for hours and hours just to search for some bit of fun?

@Ralizah So why the games I play on my base PS4 run fine? Because I buy them once patched. Even on PS5 games will run badly if badly programmed.

If you change the original "You are going to want the Deluxe Edition" with "You are going to want the Gold Edition" everything will be back in place.
I'd love to see the file where Capcom records and profiles their customers: I bet I'm tagged as #stingy, #straggler and maybe #sage since I've spent € 50 for the RE7 gold edition instead of € 100 for day one edition + season pass. In the latter case #spendthrift, #hasty and #muttonhead would sound correct.

Since I love Fallout, I'll avoid this crap.

I usually play all adventure games in "exploration mode" when possible, I mean turning off minimaps, markers etc.
It can be clunky only when you can't access the map immediately. I wish I could just tap the touchpad to open the map having the chance to insert notes and screenshots on it. It happened with some Zelda games and it was a great idea.

No matter if you are a casual or an hardcore player, a male or a female, a young one or an old one: the Snatcher will find you sooner or later because he cares.

I just realised that only 3 of my 36 games on the shelf have been bought on day one (8,3 %).
Do I envy those who buy all the games on D1? No, because most of them are broken at launch and all the hype can be killed by bugs and glitches.
Do I envy those who spend something more to play a game a week earlier? No, because they are just paying to test the game before the official release.

@KidBoruto You can get the retail version for € 20. The dlc alone is often on sale for € 3/4 on the PS store.

AS @keihtg said, separate installation file would be a bless. I play offline only on my OG PS4 and I have to waste space for things I'll never use.
And talking about RDR 2, it would have been even bigger if it had french, spanish, german and italian dubbing as any reasonable AAA title should have.

@hotukdeals I'm ok if devs get extra cash thanks to people wasting their money for aesthetics add-ons, but I also fear that minor MTX can soon become a trojan horse to MTX that could ruin the main game experience.
In Theme Park you could fool your visitors just increasing the salt percentage in your chips to sell them more drinks. The problem is: are devs gonna add extra grinding just to sell us MTX?

Can you imagine microtransactions in a Monster Hunter or a Souls game?
