Whilst the premise sounds great and rebellion are a pretty reliable studio, that looks old already. But that isn't a bad thing as long as it plays well. Stories are not defined by looks alone.

One of the best games I've played. I also have it on Steam so I can take away on steam deck. The horde mechanics are incredible. The story is excellent and it's the most underrated ps4 post apocalypse game. I shall be getting the extra on PC, but will definitely get it on PS5.

Well we paid for a service. Yes they gave us five days back. I'm glad everyone now sees what this always online madness is going to do to your digital purchases. Void and unusable. Sony need to find a way of letting you own your purchases no matter it be drive or digital. PC users face the same drivel from the power hungry like EA and Rockstar.

Knew this gen was never going to work whilst away for months on a ship, without WiFi. I could have used ps4 or ps3 but opted on a steam deck. Now unless you are online you can't.play single player anything from EA, or Rockstar. I managed to get Ubisoft working after a faff, but you need internet to start. It's annoying when you've bought your licence or whatever garbage they call it this year, but I bought it. It may say in the 50000 page smallprint that I must always be online, anyone read it. Mass effect on steam needs an EA login and always online, no multilayer, just corpo neredowells forcing their rules on us. It's only getting worse going digital.

Some call this vr abandoned, I call it an excellent ps5 and steam headset too. So if I want it in vr I shall buy on steam, probably for less.

@Quintumply then you're lost, probably in space. It's a silly platformer at best.

Astrobot is not Sci fi, its a psn platform er full of gaming references. May aswell have put spyro there, or crash. But there's a lot of off the wall features lately.

I have a Kingston trackball on my pc. Hate mouse cramp. Played.Killzone with keyboard.and mouse.on PS2 with a ps2 adaptor.of all things. But no, no more thanks.

Astrobot is as Sci fi as my left trainer. Elite Dangerous is a Sci fi game. No man's sky is a Sci fi game. The outer world's is a Sci fi game.

Last one immediately turned me away. Swords and first person was just too much. If it had a witcher perspective I'd be in.

Days Gone actually thrives on PC with it getting a new lease of life. Plays amazing on Steam Deck too, so after been given it for free on ps5 I didn't actually play and complete it until I got the PC version. Which I kick myself for because it's such an amazing game.

Forza 4.was my first foray on steam deck. Its a great arcade racer. This may be a good sideline too

Haven't bought a new game in so long now. Bought Outlaws for £30, and Cyberpunk Ultimate for £35 from a retailer, months after launch so it's actually working. Those that buy it new are just my QA and I wait for news that the game is in a better state and cheap enough for me. Don't get me wrong, Robocop was released by OCEAN in the 80's and we find out years later that you could never complete it. So at least games can be fixed. Price wise though GTA will be in profit in a week if not sooner. They could charge £10 and the result would be the same. I don't play online but have V on three playstation generations. Rockstar are a brand that just generates money.

Just leave it to indie developers and take your cut. Stick to what you know.

Nintendo does great things! I don't do Nintendo but my wife and kids do. They stopped competing directly since game cube. Wii was different and great as was switch. I have a steam deck pc and ps5, wife and daughters have switch. They feed a different gamer market in my mind.

Well if Bend are no longer making crap, Days Gone 2 should get a go. Its turned into a classic with psn and pc players alike.

We're at the point in entertainment subscriptions now that you have to subscribe inside a subscription. Please let it stop. I have Premier purely because I forgot to cancel my offer, but I like it so much I barely buy any games which is surely hurting developers if we all go this way.

30 quid at Argos so I took a punt. Happy at the moment. Different to the EA games which is for the better. A right old mix of gta, creed, tomb raider and the like, space bit isnt amazing but suffices. Goes to show reviews and perceptions.

Remember when C64 and Speccy 48/128 used to have the same games all the time, just pick your fave machine. That's when gaming was great. I hope ps reciprocate and we don't.lose xbox.

Ubisoft, EA, and Rockstar do it. It's nothing new. It kills single player games on the go with steam deck for some of them too. Sorted Ubisoft but can't get mass effect, a single.player game bought off steam, to work without Internet. Let's just see what happens.

I've already jumped. Steam deck and pc. I still have ps5 and Premier plus as its a cheap way of having loads of games. Haven't bought one since forbidden west.

Hot pursuit for me. Won't buy another unless it says burnout. Happy days.

Since the racing genre is all but ignored, and gt7 does it weirdly, I got a steam adapter and play f1 23, ACC and Automobilista 2 in VR on PC instead. Cheers Sony.

@Serialsid the sole reason I bought/made a pc. Pure console gamer then Elite Dangerous loses console support and psvr2 dies on its feet unless you want a horror or slightly iffy shooter. This PC better bloody stand up for a few years yet... 🤣

@Serialsid f1 23 on steam is a corker, and assetto corsa competizione, and automobilista 2. Vr is perfect for sim racing. I know I'm lucky to have a pc too just for games.

Not much bought for ps5 but its hammered via steam. Great kit.

@Juanalf I have horizon, days gone and a couple of others for on the go. It's niche, but so is portal.

@breakneck steam deck is awesome, love mine, but rather niche I'll agree. I have a reason to have one which goes away next September. Will the deck gather dust then I wonder...

As long as its as open as my steam deck. Non of this silly card stuff. Deck is amazing until you have to go offline then EA, Rockstar and the like won't let you play their single player games. I use my deck at sea and ps5/pc at home. Each device will have its key audience. The vita is still good but far too small.

I'm a Femshep preferee. Only because the bloke voice actor was so wooden.
So if its a Shep story there will be disappointment abound because everyone sees Shep their way.
But am prepared to be entertained, the expanse made a good citadel like space station. But Shohreh Aghdashloo has already done that too. Many reasons why the day has passed.

Makes it nearly, not really, as much as the pc I just built. Which also doesn't have an optical drive... 😂 but it does have f1 in vr via psvr2.

Bought none, played none. Makes a change. But an eclectic mix there. Should a remake be on the list? Be interesting to see what is said below.

Monthly games are generally naff. I cooked up and just paid another 120 to sony and I barely play online now. Still Dino Crisis...

It's a tenner on cdkeys for original. Why buy the remaster? And its good enough on steamdeck without upgrade.

I'm a year behind. I have a work life that takes me away. I bought all of this years games from CEX. But I used to be that day one chap, bought Far Cry 5 gold edition, and was disappointed with the eventual dlc. Lesson learnt.

The lack of racing games, elite dangerous stopping support, mmo games being forced on us. Sony has pushed a lot of fans away, I was there day one nearly every generation and my 5 now gathers dust as they don't really support my fave genres anymore.

Drive club was amazing, blurry vr aside.

No problems for this call sign. A ps native but brain turns pc/xbox, Nintendo as soon as i boot up, just like my left foot goes to sleep when I get in a lazy car.

If I play again I won't be reusing a save from 4 years ago.

What a pain in the arse. You may never have had a playstation, why make an account for it when you bought on Steam. But then, ubisoft, ea, rockstar and on. Big brother demands his pound.

Was a freebie on PS5 when I bought it. Never played it until I paid 7 quid for it on steam deck. It's that sleeper hit you've been waiting for. It was bloody brilliant and put a continued panic with the hordes and I never got over them. Unfortunately it took an age for them to appear, if you dont look for them, and then it ends...... My brother could down them easy. PS5 really hasn't improved my game experience like 3 to 4 did and I've bought maybe 10 games since launch. And yet another ps4 upgrade shows a lack of something. Go and redo a game, fix the issues and start over. Like spiderman and batman films. Don't just redo and keep the original issues, nobody wants them back.
