@PeteyPiranha not even close to a flex. Choice. Haven't bought a new game in over 2 years, the choice of second hand for a full time worker over 50 is more than ample, and when plus gives you the games why buy at all? My time of buying every new game to not finish stopped quite a while ago chap.

What PS PLUS game has taken my fancy, well it's Assassin's Creed Mirage this week. Actually disliked it when first played but it's got some good stuff going on. Bagdad looks amazing.

Can we go back to a time when opening that game box and starting it up for the first time was a joy? We just download and play so many variations of the same game in different skins made in the same game engine. I see Amiga is back in December and my reminisce button was pressed. Happy times, amazing games, dedicated developers... Ahhh

Have none, wouldn't have bought em so happy enough, rely on plus for my gaming now, will never buy another PS game.

@8th_Observer not being a designer I wouldn't know. F1, EA, still using PS4 engine and only an update this year. Lazy is easy money. Guerilla did good stuff though, and Bend. ND too if you like their affairs. I don't agree PS5 is running out of puff is all.

Has PS5 gen really hit its stride yet? 6 years of crossover with PS4 says otherwise to me.

Since I got my Moza I have only raced on PC . Would love a night on GT7 again. How would we integrate though.....

I think Ezio and Altair needed new refreshment first. I'm playing original again as PS4 games are still very solid and worth our time.

Well that's nice. Still not buying a ps6 or handheld. Nintendo has that covered, as does steam and counterparts. I have never been so against a new console but ps5 hasn't been any better than PS4 and you can ray trace me all.you want,.that's not important to gamers.

All but the sixth Milla films were a good romp of zombie fun. This looks more like the fps game in a house and onwards. Different vibe but hopefully fun.

Fallout 12 could also be in pre production. What a comment.

AC Odyssey. You don't need a ps5 to enjoy games, I have 2 but the PS4 is winning with games of late. That and Crimson Desert on PC. I think my steam account has more longevity than PlayStation.

Yeah I'm buying the same amount of games, none. PSPlus Extra is enough for me. Loaded and PC/Switch 2 for everything else.

This gen has really taken gaming away.

I'd rather remakes or remasters of these than call of do do. Sucker punch is bigger than this now but maybe bluepoint could do it, they're great at this sort of, oh wait...

Further note, my PC is digital, and I buy from Steam, Epic, Ubisoft, Rockstar(Awful Launcher) and CDKEYS/LOADED; most recently with RPCS3 I have restarted inFamous and GT5, yes I have a copy just there, and realised that backwards compatibility is suddenly not as big an issue. I have my Steamdeck too to play those on the go games - Crimson desert was laughable - my PC is for games and there is no Office on it, am also considering a switch to AMD GPU and just go STEAM OS.

Already built an AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d with 32gbddr5 and a 4070 3 ish years ago. Yes it's old for some now but will still play anything. Crimson Desert is amazing on it and shows ps controls with a dual sense edge controller. That and 34" ultra wide 1440p monitor and I'm a happy chap. Some will call it a cheap rig but I don't fancy buying the parts now. 🤣🤣
And I think it will keep pace for a few years yet.

If they can do this to black flag, why have they never gone back to the start and sort Altair's journey into a better well trodden AC path with a bit more variation whilst keeping the core game the same?

Seems like my kind of game. But we shall see. I remember another game whose countdown clock was a real pain, but I stayed a while, staaaaayed forever ha ha ha ha haaaaaa!

30 years of PlayStation in my ownership will end with ps5. My PS4 games get more play than PS5. It's for entertainment so I won't pay your gen exorbitant pricing. I'm having to increase storage space as you constantly update games to be bigger on disk. Sony you've made it less fun. I won't say thanks, because you're not bothered either way. I think we should all keep the 5 for 6 years into next gen as the games will be available for both. Then when they've made 10 mill units and nobody has bought one but the scalpers they'll finally realise what they've done.

Good enough reason to stop at PS5 for me.

We don't need ps6, what exactly will it bring. This gen has been a huge disappointment. The controller is better but the games aren't they just have shadows and reflections.
I am playing Watchdogs at the moment, it's actually better than I remember and has still got relevance.
Games are less prominent, they come out so slowly and yet for all the shadows and reflections I still play older games for preference. Joseph seed and his family may not ring a bell to some but FarCry 5 was the best version since 2 for me and 6 was awful. GT7 for all it's amazing online content still doesn't ring as strong to me as 4.or 5.
I may be considered an old fuddy and that's fine I'm 53. Replay GTA IV, it's a lot more fun than 5, but has a gravity issue with cars.
Gaming has never been cheaper if you go through the PS4 games that passed you buy, and you can own it by going to CEX or equivalent and put it in your 5.

Not ended how they'd like, trying to crush PS with those ridiculous acquisitions, and then fall flat on their face. I would wish all those developers and studios the best whilst hoping this is the last round of trying to garotte the competition.

Honestly, get your PS4 back out and go on the hunt, there are some amazing games you never played. Ps5 appeared and hasn't really done a lot and all the while we are leaving a huge catalogue of unexplored classics. And the jump backwards is nowhere near what you think it is.

I would, I'm all but fully converted to PC. So a living room games machine better than a docked steam deck would be great. But not at any price. The OG day 1 PS5 can stay right where it is for now. But ps6 might struggle to get a yes from me whenever that is.

Losing the ps owned digital only is the only fly.

It was never as bad as it was made out for me, I finished it on a PS4 pro, no dramas. Then again on a 5, then again with phantom liberty. And modded to hell on PC. The core game was always strong. Never regretted original purchase.

I shall buy it, maybe next year at some point.
