I'm still not massively impressed with the PS5 generation. There's some cool out there but we've only just released the PS4 from many franchises. I still think PS5 could be game relevant for a good few years. I still play PS4 in the bedroom (Full refurb and thermal paste has made it genuinely impressive again). I may be just an old bloke who enjoys games, 60 FPS has only just become relevant to my gaming in all honesty. What extra can they bring apart from even more reliance on the cloud and no drive for the generation, and that would be poop.

I shall await the reviews, and hopefully finish Crimson Desert, then I have annual Witcher 3. I've also just started watchdogs on my deck again, that game is so much better than I remember.

More save the last human size games.

Yup, got it in my bedroom, daughter has a pro in hers. PS5 still to hit hard enough to upgrade other rooms in house.

I think now is the time to start making games for stories. Stop trying to look amazing which most gamers don't use anyway. Go back to xbox360/PS3 graphics and use all the rest of the systems grunt to make amazing mechanics and stories. I've been playing on PS3 lately and it takes no time at all to realise that the games were absolute bangers, I'd be happier. Some might not come with me mind.

Losing another talented team whether you appreciate them or not is disappointing. Microsoft bought them out because of Senua, they wanted to rip it away from Sony. Just like many other companies. It's a shame but it's a result of the buy everything period of a company that was determined to be No1. Now there is a new broom they are discarding them like a bad smell. Almost feels wrong but we again are the ones losing out.

Only new game this year is Crimson Desert, but kids got me it on Steam. PS Plus are the only games we play on PS5 nowadays, so Spiderman 2.

My pc is close enough to hook up my dualsense edge without causing offence. I have trust issues from unknown sources on the internet and will keep that away from my now rather too expensive PC.

Toca 3 was the pinnacle of racing for me. Immense single player and online with PS2 was amazing. It took an age to load but was the best racing we ever had.

Looks fun, definitely a psplus game of the future so I can wait.

I just know Wolverine is going to be a pretty beat em up, whereas GoW is going to be a lore and gore filled update for fans of the series. Given a choice I will walk past wolverine to play GoW. To me Wolverine and Hugh Jackman's portrayal is not something the young uns, 18-25, will have seen. 2017 was the last film.

Sorry there was the Deadpool thing, but that was satire, not a wolverine film.

If it was how they started none of these comments would be here. I stopped buying games and use the given games to keep me sated. I only play one at a time too, RDR took over a month until I was satisfied, never a trophy hoarder. If I started RDR2 I wouldn't get to play much for donkey's as that's an engrossing game. I've just finished watchdogs again and started 2 so I won't get at these possibly ever. Devil's advocate and all that.

So instead of offering it tens of million of PS5 owners they do it for tens of Xbox and PC owners. It will still make a profit and return for developers and after all this will probably come to PS5 when all the hype dies down. It's only gears of war, Xbox stole Tomb Raider and that didn't work remember.

Never been my goto type game but I shall definitely give it a look. Not a great online shooter fan, which is criminal I know.

Never in all my life!!! Did I care that much unless the end result looks like AI made it. In 10 years nobody will care, we will have reskilled elsewhere, and T100's will be cracking the whip.

Lara for me, Until Dawn 2 as a big fan of first and stuntman Hollywood. God of war later and wolverine when on ps plus as we've seen that all before I'm afraid. Yes I know the same could be said of all of em by now but it just looked too prototype but prettier.

Don't need no more scared outta my pants horror! But Tomb Raider, God of War and Wolverine to a degree (it looks nice but very samey with a fork in your hands). Relatively excited.

Had it since I had to isolate in the pandemic. Played it stuck in my bedroom. Thought of a ps5 free upgrade was nice but you can blow if you think I'm paying 12 quid for the dlc first. It wasn't that good.

@GamingGod I think GTA IV forgot gravity. I play LMU and ACC normally, and gtav allows you to find an apex. 4 and before had helium tyres.

@Northern_munkey I have AC Rally and for what it currently is, is awesome. Needs a lot of work before final PS5 version. Don't need all rallies to be dlc.

The rally stages alone can bring you to tears. The hill climb events are enough to break you. But you'll keep going back. Full steering wheel support is a must. Worried it will be called in beta by some.

Gonna add some new depth to my annual playthrough. 😁 And hopefully we won't be reduced in level.

First gen I won't be day 1. No matter what this site keeps telling me the PS5 has been a damp squib with software. PS4 was overflowing with amazing games by this point. Ps5 has yet to amaze me enough to keep going at these silly prices. Just glad I own a deck already.

Holy moly, day 1 thanks to CDPR. I play this game almost annually, takes days now over months.

It's just lies and bluster. No deals here just a change to the rrp, in a vein attempt to make you feel better. Been here since the start and it's rarely given a deal. Ghost of Yotei £52.29, a massive 25% saving on a game that's been out a fair while now. Don't even bother looking anymore.

I think extra is where it's most reasonable. Haven't bought a new Playstation game for years, just wait for it on extra, if it doesn't come it doesn't get played. Unless I see something at CEX. Stellar blade one day, BG3 one day. It's been a great personal money saver and I've played games start to finish that wouldn't normally get SSD space.

Iffy driving is now the standard in most action games, apart from GTA V and that's ancient.

I watch Turnip an Erieeess or however he spells it on you tube to see if I'm missing out, FOMO at 52 😁, but I shall stick to LMU, ACC and a couple of others. Do miss polyphony tracks though.

When price is stratospherically high and all you have to show is some, mainly, old games to prove it's worth is an unfortunate state of affairs. But I remain happy with Day 1 PS5.

@Blacksmith1985 I still play c64 games, in the original state. Which is how games were made for your entertainment. The fact you rubbish older Gen is niether here nor there. I don't doubt your opinion but I like my version of reality too.

Outlaws us better than it's been given credit. I'ce even got it on the switch 2. Just a Ubi romp and I was happy with that.

That's a pretty glowing month. Played most of them but as all my gaming comes soley from PS plus or CEX this is good. BS reforged is a treat for me and the wife.

This is a ps plus game in my mind. Never a game I would buy, but one I would play if it were in the Extra lineup or a psplus monthly game. One to entice subscribers and ensure a Sony studio continues on.

Haven't started a journey yet. Hopeful of being first new game since 24 that wasn't free on ps plus, epic or prime gaming.

It's my birthday soon and kids are all aware.

A 6/10 would be mentioned maybe once then forgotten on this site and yet we keep hearing about this over promised game. Why don't we spend more time telling us all about the underloved hidden classics as oppose to this XBOX owned monstrosity.

Do a bit on how DAYS GONE is a cult hit after being reviewed as okay, so much so that the remaster elevated it to new heights on the Pro, you did your review and that was it.

I think 50 quid'll be about right and I can wait for that price point. I've given up on day one releasing. Most of my PS5 gaming has come from either PS4 or psplus.

The prologue for want of a better word eventually made me turn off. It's just a gyrating amount of squeaky characters who'll "do their best!" And other cliche lines. I'm impressed you fought your way through. Now I'm 52 and was playing it while the wife was power washing on her switch 2, she kept looking at me with a 'seriously' kind of expression and a lot of , what the hell is this, it sounds awful.
So maybe that had something to do with it. I may try again from where I was but the dialogue is horrendous, it looks cool mind.
