It's a quieter week on the PS5 this week in terms of volume of releases. But there are some heavy hitters here.
The majority of you will probably be paying attention to Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, the new four-vs-four fighter from Arc System Works.
But spare a thought for Game Freak's Beast of Reincarnation as well.
Here's everything coming out this week.
New PS5 Games This Week (3rd-9th August)

- Beast of Reincarnation (4th August - PS5): "Set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, humanity's only hope lies with Emma, an outcast shunned from society for her affliction, and Koo, the blighted dog. Together, they embark on this expansive adventure in this one-person, one-dog action RPG."
- Big Walk (4th August - PS5): "Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking."
- Kynseed (4th August - PS5): "Embark on a lifetime of adventure in a beautiful world of creativity and intrigue. Raise a family, customise your farm, run a business, craft items, and battle some marvellously malevolent monsters."
- Mate'Morphosis (4th August - PS5): "Strategize and conquer in a brainteasing twist on a tabletop gaming classic! Mate’Morphosis is a chess-inspired puzzle game built around the concept of becoming the pieces that you capture. Outsmart each board, adapt to evolving mechanics and hunt down the rival king across every stage! Instead of commanding multiple pieces, you’ll need to navigate the board with a single player piece that transforms into the type of piece you’ve just defeated."
- Feudal Baron: King's Lord (6th August - PS5): "In Feudal Baron: King’s Land, you play as the ruler of a medieval barony. You start with just a few followers in their leaky tents. Are you a leader shrewd enough to turn your lands into a bustling city?"
- Grizzy and the Lemmings - Crazy Party (6th August - PS5): "Grizzy just wanted a little peace and quiet… but the Lemmings had other plans! Take control of these unstoppable little troublemakers and turn your living room into a total madhouse — unpredictable mini-games, boards full of surprises, and dirty tricks between friends. Every round can flip in seconds, with one goal: grab as much Yummy as you can before everyone else, and drive Grizzy up the wall."
- Mai: Child of Ages - Storms of Time (6th August - PS5): "The sudden appearance of a floating factory marks the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Mai: Child of Ages."
- Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls (6th August - PS5): "Assemble your team of legendary Marvel characters in the ultimate 4v4 tag team fighter from PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works and Marvel Games."
- Parkasaurus: Dinoluxe Edition (6th August - PS5): "Experience the prehistoric hijinks of building your very own dinosaur theme park in Parkasaurus. Packed with adorable, mischievous dinos to discover, this tycoon management sim challenges you to design exhibits and conduct research that allow your herd to thrive and your profits to grow. Customize your park, hire employees, and create amazing exhibits your guests will love. But beware! These dinos love to escape and go on a rampage."
- Yellowcreek Stories - The Cabin Watcher (6th August - PS5): "A masked killer stalks the area and reacts to sound, light, and movement. No combat. No second chances. Survival is about staying unseen, keeping calm, and making the right call under pressure."
New PS Plus Games This Week (4th August)
- Big Walk (PS5 - PS Plus Essental): "Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking."
- Dying Light 2 (PS5, PS4 - PS Plus Essential): "It’s been 20 years since the events of the original game. The virus won, and humanity is slowly dying. You play as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim who delivers goods, brings news, and connects the few remaining survivor settlements in barren lands devastated by the zombie virus. However, your true goal is to find your little sister Mia, who you left behind as a kid to escape Dr. Waltz's torturous experiments. Haunted by the past, you eventually make the decision to confront it when you learn that Mia may still be alive in Villedor — the last city standing on Earth.
- Signalis (PS4 - PS Plus Essential): "Awaken from slumber and explore a surreal retrotech world as Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner and her lost dreams. Discover terrifying secrets, challenging puzzles, and nightmarish creatures in a tense and melancholic experience of cosmic dread and classic psychological survival horror."
