Re: Talking Point: PS6 In 2027 - How Do You Feel About Sony's Next-Gen Console?

@Maverick85 60 fps for me.is fine. My pc only has a 1080 monitor on purpose but can run into 150 plus fps. I really can't tell. But I believe the playstation 5 can still have better games if they'd left ps4 years ago, I'm no programmer but I remember what happened when ps3 was left behind. I work on big marine engineering and leave micro stuff to the gurus. And enjoy what I can.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy a PS1 at Launch?

Changed my perception on what games were about to become. I remember my mum dissing destruction Derby as you could see the road joins. The first GT, and having to brake! Pandemonium's scale when zooming out. But my faves remain tekken 3, soul blade and Discworld 2. And a fond remembrance of RR T4.

30, maybe 35 years ago I'd have bought two or three. But I'm still happy with a ridiculous backlog. And after spending 5 hours in the flipper museum in Budapest this week I'm back on pinball arcade Attack from Mars which is no longer available as a Bally table. Oh and I've bought the Thing remastered to play. Gaming is good.

Re: Eye-Opening PS5 Sales Data Reveals Why Microsoft Is Porting Xbox Games

Bit of a weird one. We were keeping Mincraft and Call of Duty. So never porting. And they have billions to recoup from their take over anyway. I have forza 4 on steam deck so know I don't need another map of icons in my life, the rest will be bargain bin anyway. There's no Mass Effect moments there for me. Bough a 360 for it. 😁

I only buy a few games, and now having a PC too I seem to have bought them again. So a game has to tick what I want to play and a single player approach is exactly it, Tsushima has been beaten to platinum on psn(PS4 and PS5) and all achievements on steam. It shows that when done right a single player experience is still achievable. Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, eventually, GTA4, RDR 1&2, inFamous. Cat nip for the oldie. There are many more I know but can't just list em.

Re: Single Player Games Aren't Dead, 'They Just Have to Be Good', Says Larian Studios CEO

Multiplayer options are irrelevant. I started out single player in the 70's or local coop in the living room. I haven't experienced an online part of a game in over a decade as its generally an awful experience. Apart from racing, then it's great to play virtual dodgems with all the carp as I never play enough to get top leagues. But my kids do nothing else. Bit of balance there.

Re: PS5 Fans Are Pondering the Point of Days Gone Remastered After Graphics Comparison Emerges

It's a proper chalk and cheese game isn't it. I got the game with my ps plus ps5 purchase and never played it. Bought it for 7 quid on steam and played it four or five times through on deck.

It shows that ps plus games are often ignored over purchases for me. I have completed on ps5 now on a big screen and it's a belter. Free roam instead of tlou handholding is for me a lot better. Controversial I know.
