It’s a pretty good selection, but the ones I would have been interested in I’ve already played - Cyberpunk, Banishers and New World Aeternum.

Only played around 16-17 hours, so have a long way to go yet. Saying that, I loved the first game and so far DS2 does everything better, so with that in mind I’ve given it a 9/10. This could easily become 10/10 though as I get deeper into the game. Just taking my sweet time with it.

I’ve been a PS+ subscriber since its inception. I would definitely say there’s room for improvement. For the last 2 years I’ve been on the “premium” tier, but literally just last weekend my annual renewal was due, and I decided to drop down to “essential”. Now my PS+ homepage is plastered with ads asking me to upgrade 😂

I loaded the game up over the weekend, just to play around in the open world in anticipation of this forthcoming update. Hopefully it won’t be delayed too long. I’m dying to know what’s in it though 🤔

I’m glad cargo deliveries are still the main focal point of the game. This was easily my favourite part of the first game - navigating desolate environments and reaching your destination never felt so rewarding. I was worried this sequel would place more emphasis on combat. Can’t wait to play this!

I have Premium but it’s runs out the end of this month. Have to admit that the games aren’t really worth the Premium price, but I often try out game trials, so not sure whether to renew or not 🤔 it’s very anti-consumer for Sony to lock trials behind the most expensive PS+ tier, but I guess they need another reason to justify the price 🙄

I picked this up a few days ago and am enjoying it so far, but I agree that the camera angle is too high. Glad the devs are going to fix this soon.

It’s a great game and I’ve completed it twice, but once you’ve finished the campaign there really isn’t a lot to do. It would be great if they can find a way to include an endgame of some kind. As it stands there’s not even NG+ 🙁

I wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens now, as Rockstar try to appease people after the new delay to GTA 6. Also wouldn’t be surprised if, like the GTA 6 trailer 2, they shadow drop it.

So if your TV doesn’t support 120hz, and you’re playing on base PS5 in performance mode - you’re better off with the BC PS4 version over the PS5 remaster? 🤔

I was thinking of getting one, but then I realised my TV doesn’t support 120hz/40fps, so there wouldn’t be much point would there? 🤔

Basically it wasn’t working. Every time I held down the button to activate it, it would turn straight off again. I was going to try restarting the game but never got around to it. I’m away for a few days now, but will try again when I get back.

I think they broke pathfinder with this patch, as it’s not working for me now.

Normally I’d be bothered, but there are so many big games coming out this year that I don’t actually mind. Not only does it give Rockstar more time to polish the game, but we the players have more time to play all these other games. Win win 😀

Will definitely give the demo a go. I just bought Entropy survivors in a sale, which is pretty good. The one I’m waiting for though is Yet another Zombie survivors which has a great demo.

I’m still playing and enjoying the game, with around 50 hours under my belt. However, because of the way the game is structured I have no idea how far into it I am 😂

And they’re NOT going to charge for them?!? 😉

Ngl, I bounced off this quite hard when I first played it. Everything just seems to take so long. I should give it another go really, but there are just so many other games coming out this year. Kudos to Larian though, it’s always good to see devs show such excellent post launch support.

DS2 in June, this in August, so I reckon Ghost of Yotei will be either July or September.

It’s a shame some people decided to rate/rank Unity on its launch state, rather than its final state after numerous updates. I think the game holds up really well, and I’m still hoping for PS5 60fps patch with a resolution bump. I think my favourite AC game is probably Odyssey or Black Flag, though always had a soft spot for Syndicate too as I loved having Victorian London as a playground (I’m English and live in London, so that may have something to do with it 😂).

Again, it’s not the price of the Switch 2 console that is the issue, it’s the prices of the games.

Resetting an individual skill tree is very useful, especially if you stop using a weapon that you’ve previously spent skill points on.

I’m not really into puzzle games, but as it’s on PS+ extra I may as well give it a go.

I have a Nintendo Switch but only buy the occasional game, usually big releases like Mario or Zelda, or (timed) exclusives like Hades. My main consoles are PS5 and Series X. I was all prepared to preorder S2, until I saw the price of games. What’s worse is that this will no doubt open the doors to Sony and Microsoft charging more for their games, especially considering they are running on more powerful hardware than S2. Damn you Nintendo!

It sucked in Zelda BOTW/TOTK, it will suck in this.

The big difference is most PlayStation and Xbox games always start coming in price just months, or even weeks, after they release. Nintendo games rarely come down in price, even years after release.

@KundaliniRising333 Syndicate got a 60fps patch and resolution bump on PS5 - it plays and looks great! Victorian London never looked better. Hope they do the same for Unity.

The first few hours I found a little boring, then it started to grow on me, then it just “clicked”, and now I love it 😂 easy 9/10 from me. It looks gorgeous (playing on base PS5), great combat, love the seasons, and plenty of great skills to unlock. It’s not perfect though - I personally think that it can be a little too dark at night, particularly when in a building. Sometimes the camera can be annoying, especially when fighting multiple enemies in an enclosed space, like indoors. Also, an option to fast forward time - day to night and vice versa - would have been nice. Otherwise, I’m having a great time.

Haven’t played the demo, but I’m really looking forward to this!

Just a heads up, this game has a lot more stealth than what people are probably expecting. I played it on Xbox Gamepass, and couldn’t really get into it, though I seemed to be in the minority. Great graphics though, and Troy Baker’s take on Indy is spot on.

Preordered it, and my PS5 downloaded it last night. Let’s goooooo!

Great news for existing owners of a PS5 Pro, but for potential new buyers next year will be another year closer to PS6, so why bother? Nevertheless, all this tech bodes well for PS6 whenever it comes out.

I think it will be September at the latest. Anything later will clash with GTA 6. I loved the first game so can’t wait for this!

I will preorder soon, just gotta decide whether to buy it on PS5 or Series X 🤔 it often comes down to how much free space I have in each console 😂

I’ve been on premium the last few years, but I think when it comes to renewing it I’m going to drop down to extra. The trials are nice on premium, but I don’t play the old/classic titles.

@rusty82 can’t speak for the Switch version but on PS5 it runs fine so far, seems to be 60fps.

I’ve been having a blast playing Far Cry New Dawn, thanks to the 60fps patch. Also picked up Oceanhorn 2 for under a tenner in a PS store sale. Seems quite good fun so far, though don’t know how long it will keep me interested for. Hope to play the Monster hunter wilds beta as well.

Over several months if I have to, though often take a short hiatus to prevent burnout.

@StylesT Same, bought it in the PS store sale (about £6). If I can get into the first game then I’ll probably end up buying KCD2 at some point. Only thing is, is that there are so many games coming out this year, and both KCD games sound like big time sinks.

I’m tempted, especially after all of the glowing reviews. However, I don’t think I would have the patience or time for it. I’m hoping for some kind of trial/demo, either that or try the first one which is currently on sale 🤔

I hope this gets a trial on PS+ premium. It looks great and am glad it has reviewed well, but just don’t know if I’d have the patience for it tbh (never played the first game).

Digital foundry said a while back that they’d be surprised if even the PS5 Pro could run it at 60fps. I personally think it will be a locked 30fps, but I’m sure Rockstar are working hard to make it as buttery smooth as possible.

I’m excited for AC Shadows itself, but I still don’t see the point of the “Animus hub” 🤔 not to mention having several AC games installed simultaneously will take up considerable SSD space.
