Is Dogtown integrated into the main map, or do you have to travel to it separately?

If it’s optional then I don’t see an issue. I’ll probably keep it on and see how it goes.

Good to see Motorfest selling well, I’m really enjoying it. Though Ubisoft must be a bit miffed to just miss out on the top spot by a game that’s been out 7 months 😂

It’s the little touches like this that can really make a game, just like the one you mentioned recently where when you change character he’ll be in the middle of something (like GTAV). Over the last week or so my excitement for this game has gone up considerably. I just can’t believe Spider-man 2 is out the exact same day as Super Mario Wonder, another game I’m excited for.

I think they would be better off delaying it until Nov/Dec to give it a better chance. It’s just gonna get buried otherwise.

I definitely want to play it but am busy with Starfield right now and I haven’t the time to play both. I’m hoping for a physical release then I can get it for Christmas 😉

13 Sentinels has been on my radar for a while now. Typically though, they put it on PS+ when 1) I’m too busy with other games, like Starfield, 2) the next month or so is stacked with new releases (Phantom liberty, Spiderman 2, Mario Wonder, AC mirage!)

The fact that it’s being reviewed almost a week ahead of release is usually a good sign 👍

Willing to give Saints row a go. I know it didn’t have a good launch but it’s had several patches/updates since then so hopefully it’s a better game for it.

I definitely want to play this at some point, but there’s no point buying it right now whilst Starfield gobbles up all my free time. Hopefully by the time I get around to playing it they will have ironed out any remaining bugs, and it will be cheaper too.

This is exactly what Sony want you to do - stack up on subs and make them a load of money in the process. I’d rather let mine lapse.

I’m wondering if Codies are gonna give us quality over quantity - a cracking a rally sim, but not every country from the FIA Rally Championship will be represented 🤔

I read somewhere that the “next-gen” versions are locked behind the gold edition versions? Please say it ain’t so 🙄 and are we really still calling PS5/XSX next-gen, nearly 3 years after release?!?

@KaijuKaiser I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Xbox delay is less to do with Series S “technical issues” and more to do with not wanting to go head-to-head with Starfield.

Maybe people are just checking too see if they really are charging $50 for it, and are then flabbergasted when they find out it’s true 😂

I still haven’t ever played The Order 1886. Surprised it hasn’t been a PS+ game yet.

I still have the Xbox 360 disc, so can play it through BC on my Series X. Needless to say, I voted “no chance” in the poll!

£50 for this port is disgusting, meanwhile RDR2 fans are still waiting for a 60fps patch. Read the room Rockstar ffs.

Mostly playing Remnant 2 and Pikmin 4, though the last few days I’ve also been doing some races on the excellent Driveclub. The graphics still hold up really well, it’s just a shame it’s only 30fps, but after a few races you get used to it.

Still no option to start a new game? I’m a lapsed player, and haven’t touched it in a few years. I’d rather start a fresh game than carry on where I last left off.

@ErrantRob it may be worth you going into the “world settings” and re rolling the campaign. Apparently you will lose your current progress in that world, but still keep all of your skills, traits, resources, perks etc. The game will then give you a brand new world, hopefully different to the one you’ve started in. Do a Google search for “remnant 2 what does re roll campaign do” and look into it. It may be worth doing if you’re struggling in your current world. Also, make sure you look everywhere - every nook and cranny - as you can often find loot, especially rings which often provide some good buffs. Also upgrade your guns/melee weapon whenever you can (back at the ward 13 hub, which you can return to from any of those Red checkpoints).

@ErrantRob my game started in Losomn, which I really enjoyed (apart from the final boss!). I didn’t even realise people could start off in different worlds 😱 I’ve just started the next world, which for me is Labyrinth. I’ve been playing solo, using handler archetype. This is useful for solo play as the dog can not only help you fight but also revive you (using one of your dragon hearts).

Remnant 2, though I’m currently stuck on the Nightweaver boss (playing solo). Will keep trying. Started Pikmin 4 yesterday which I’m enjoying. I think I’m gonna give Diablo 4 a rest for a while as I’m starting to feel burnt out on it, which is bad timing considering the first season only recently started!

“Goes gold” (a term referring to the physical version), the irony being most people will be playing it digitally via PS+ extra or GamePass 😂

Re the debate about less than half of people claim their monthly games; I always “add to library”, but don’t necessarily download them. Even if I already have the physical version of a game, I always ATL the digital version just in case. I wish Xbox would add the ATL option instead of forcing you to download the game(s) to claim them.

Dreams…about bloody time! I can finally see what all the fuss is/was about. I’m not very creative though, so will only be “playing” other peoples’ creations.

Maybe put the first Overpass on PS+ extra in Aug/Sep to stimulate interest? 🤔

I’m enjoying Diablo 4, but I’m only on act 4 as I’ve been mixing up main quest stuff with side quests and open world exploring. Doesn’t look like I’ll be starting season 1 at launch 😳

Diablo 4 was on sale almost the entirety of June, whereas FF16 released late into the month. I don’t know why I’m defending FF16 as I’m not even into the FF games 😂 loving Diablo 4 though!

I played The Ascent on Xbox but am up for another play through on Playstation. Dysmantle is well worth checking out. Will give World War Z a go. Still waiting for Disco elysium on either PS+ extra or GamePass 🙄

I used this free trial on my PS5 last year, and ended up keeping it after the trial ended. Some great shows on there that are well worth checking out. Highlights for me are Severance, Bad sisters, Silo, Blackbird, and The after party.

Sony/PlayStation already have lots of exclusive IPs. You can’t have ‘em all.

As someone who’s never really been into FF games, Stephen’s “second opinion” is really what struck a chord with me. Like Stephen, I had played FF7 remake but also never finished it. I’m not saying I’m now buying FF16 at launch, but it’s definitely on my radar. Will watch some review videos before deciding.

I pretty much got my theme park building fix from Planet Coaster, which was good. I had no reason to play this, even less so now going by the score.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they put the base game on PS+ extra before Phantom Liberty drops, to tempt people into buying the expansion.

I’ve been buying Codemasters’ F1 games on day of release for years, but I just don’t think theres enough new stuff here to justify the £70 price tag.

Looks like all the time in early access, betas, server slam etc has paid off which is great news. I’m gonna be getting either the deluxe or ultimate edition cos I wanna be playing this ASAP!
Couple of quick questions…1) does it make use of the dualsense pad/adaptive triggers? 2) what is the install size?
