If it means not having to pick between “graphics” and “performance” modes, ie getting 4K/60fps/RT - all simultaneously - then I’d definitely bite!

Even though I bought Dying light 2 at launch I could never get into it like I did the first game. Will give it one more go when this update lands and just hope the new combat improves things.

I saw Bella on the Jonathan Ross show at the weekend and was shocked when she told JR she was 19 😱 I thought she was only about 15!

I loved Ico. Would love a Bluepoint-style remake.

@ErrantRob if you have no real love for the genre then it probably won’t be your cup of tea. Saying that, I’m defining NOT a hardcore strategy fan, only occasionally getting into them. I played Age of Empires 2 a short while ago when it launched on GamePass and enjoyed it. Ubisoft are quite generous in giving players a whole week to try out Anno so I would say give it a go as you have nothing to lose. Personally, I’m going to play it for a few more days before I pull the trigger. I’ve almost finished Hogwarts Legacy so I need another time sink, and Anno 1880 would fill that gap nicely!

I’ve been playing the free trial of Anno 1800 and am enjoying it so far. I can see myself buying it in the coming days, and subsequently losing many hours to it! I hope to finally finish Hogwarts Legacy over the weekend. I now have all spells unlocked, including the 3 unforgivable curses, and have just a few quests to go.

So sad 😢 loved him in The Wire, and later in the Horizon games.

Still haven’t played this. I know it’s been on sale several times, but I’m holding out on it joining PS+ extra or GamePass.

The games I’d ordinarily be interested in I already have. I’m looking forward to Tchia though, and it’s great it available day 1, much like Stray was. I just wish Sony would do more day 1 releases, especially with indie titles.

An arcade management sim? I’m definitely interested! Will take advantage of the week’s free play trial first that Ubisoft are providing.

@DETfaninATL @DETfaninATL I agree with your point about the story being too long. The last third or so of the game really dragged for me and I was more or less forcing myself to finish it, which I eventually did. They needed to cut several hours off the main story.

Mostly jumping between Hogwarts Legacy and Metroid Prime remastered. In Hogwarts I’m level 23, played around 25hrs, with about a dozen main quests still to do. I still haven’t unlocked flying mounts, or explored the bottom of the map! (South Sea bog downwards). I’m also looking forward to unlocking the 3 “unforgivable curses”! Anyone who hasn’t yet tried fidelity mode on PS5 I highly recommend giving it a go. I usually prefer performance mode, but in HL fidelity mode is super smooth.

Good to see fidelity mode getting some love. I usually play games in performance mode, but I was happy with HL fidelity mode so have been using it since launch. Looking forward to seeing how they’ve improved it even more.

I’m about 15 hours in so far. It’s good, but not quite GOTY material yet, though with more hours under my belt that could change. I’ve got my own broom (not the easiest things to control 🙄), though haven’t unlocked mounts yet. The “beasts class” is my next quest.

@KingPev I wanna play Metroid Prime remastered, but I’m already juggling Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Space, and Age of Empires 2, so will probably get it at a later date.

@J2theEzzo Thanks for the info 👍 I haven’t played it in quite a while either. I found there were too many currencies, systems etc at play, though I think I read they are going to be streamlining these so I may jump back in!

OlliOlli World and Mafia DE I already have on Xbox. I’m quite looking forward to trying out Evil dead the game. I’m still not sure about Destiny 2 beyond light - is this the new expansion? Do I need the base game to play or is that included? I think I have the base game on PlayStation but honestly can’t remember 🤪

I’ll probably still be knee-deep in Hogwarts Legacy in March anyway 🙂

It was okay, but for me the weakest of the 3 episodes so far. I’m still not completely on board with the show tbh. Pedro Pascal is smashing it, but I’m still not convinced Bella Ramsey was the best option for Ellie. There’s still 6 episodes to go so we’ll see how it goes.

The question is, does this game justify its £65 price tag? Going by the reviews, I’d say no.

Tbh I’ve had way more fun with Marvels Midnight Suns than I ever did with Marvels Avengers.

@Almost_Ghostly Shopto are selling the deluxe version for about £63. On the PS store it’s £65/£75 for the standard/deluxe versions. The deluxe version also includes 3 days early access, so releases on 7 Feb, and the standard version on 10 Feb.

I’m loving it so far. Nice gameplay loop of doing stuff in the abbey and then going out on a mission. I usually take the heroes I don’t use that much on the side missions, and use my favourites (unless forced otherwise) on the main story missions. I wonder if they will be able to retro-fit Deadpool into the main campaign, and not just the dlc missions? 🤔

Where’s the option “I’m playing them on GamePass” ? 😉

I’ve actually preordered the physical deluxe version of this, as one online retailer is selling it for less than the PS store standard edition price! Can’t wait for this 🙂

I downloaded the demo a few weeks ago but haven’t got around to playing it yet. Definitely gonna give it a go before the game comes out next week.

Most people probably decided to just wait for the Dead Space remake.

Performance mode/60fps for me, but I hope it’s higher than 1080p and at the very minimum 1440

I’m mostly playing The Witcher 3 (performance mode is sooooo sweet!) and Marvels Midnight Suns. Also on my third play through of GTA V! (previously played on Xbox 360 and PS4). I can’t get into GTA online, but I love the single player campaign.

I keep seeing Disco Elysium in these sales, but I’m holding out in the hope it comes to either PS+ extra or GamePass.

I’m really looking forward to Hogwarts legacy, so congrats on it nabbing 2nd place! Not only that, but it’s out NEXT MONTH! 🙂

The Witcher 3. This is only my second play through, the first being over 7 years ago when it first came out. Still a fantastic game. I love the new way of casting signs, it’s much more intuitive (luckily any muscle memory of the old system has long faded 😂). Also just started playing Marvel’s midnight Suns, which I’m enjoying so far.

PushSquare’s review of Neon White highlighted performance issues on PS5, in particular screen tearing. Anyone know if this has this been fixed yet?

I can’t believe that 1) Dreams hasn’t been a PS+/extra game yet, and 2) there hasn’t been a PS5 upgrade.

I would love to give this game another go, but I haven’t played it in ages so would have to start afresh. Unfortunately the game doesn’t let you start a new game unless you set up another account, which I won’t be doing.
