Power doesn't mean *****, even having a 5090 doesn't even guarantee your getting great performance because Publishers want there games targets met and Devs are either worked overtime/crunch. But even then games are running like crap with stuttering issues or in case of PS5 bit even running right on it's Pro variant.

It's games that sell which Sony knows too well with previous consoles maybe the start of PS3 wasn't the best but Sony best era PS2 proved it. They went back to that similar model for PS4 and it worked, I'd rather have a nice long great game for my money over high end graphics anytime because right now games run like *****

Wish they put back the playstation themes and PS1 boot up screen again and fix it so it works from rest mode, they own the bloody things

I wish I could find something decent but I'm so sick and tired of the all the crap AI generated asset flip games filling up the search results. Before it got worse I've found some beautiful bargains between £3-5 but now I get some I've already got then by about 15 rows down comes the crap.

I thin out for full games only and low and behold the ***** just shows, it's just as bad as Nintendo eshop

They added cheats to FF7 and 8 and probably 9 for faster running and infinite health etc and it still unlocked trophies. Who cares of people use them to unlock them they don't mean squat people have hundreds of plats by playing different versions of the same game for god sake

It's basically for people who have disabilities or accessibility problems but want to play such a game, which is brilliant

It's EA it's never a dull moment when a free to play sort of game won't have high cost MTs in it from EA

Whatever happens I know one thing for sure is Xbox 360 slims I used stores have shot up on price as well as Xbox 360 disc games. Can't play anything off the store through it but there seems to be a surge for what was once MS' best era. Since XSX doesn't have full backwards compatibility either and it's slashed on price to get rid of stock, that tells me it's a bargain to get as when it gets hacked it will be a great emulator system

Wow no thanks I'll rather just buy games on sales for my XSX or games 2nd hand but to be honest I'm still playing on my Xbox 360 because it doesn't have many of the games I have that play on it

They are doing all they can to fund it's AI race to get to no.1 and jobs, studios and customers will be sacrificed to get there. I hope they lose it and then realise the damage they have done to the brand that really made them more of a house hold name than Windows did

PS3 will probably get one in a few months time them it's like android mobiles once the few years are up. You get drip fed updates like maybe 2 for that year until you upgrade before non at all

@Oram77 They should use the likes of seeing studios that EA bought and Microsoft and how they all went and stay for independence.

I'll be all over this if it's a 1 to 1 remake of the PS2 version not with ***** added from the future games. Also it's also price as well because I expect this to be a £40+ game and I'm not paying that if they want it to sell place it around £25.

I loved DW3 during my PS2 era I spent hours playing with friends in coop split screen, shame it doesn't have coop online

Played a bit of the first one through PS Premium but I downgraded at one point and then dropped it completely. Was hoping to buy it on sale but it's still over £30 even on disc now this is out it may drop the price on the first game. I love Japanese settings etc but I may have to start again because it was months ago I played it

Having 2 controllers they start to warn of low battery after about 5hrs of play for me which I've no idea of that's bad. But my PS3 controller still to this day last the same and that's over a decade old original battery

Should give me back the PS1 start up for my PS5 again but fix it so it works from rest mode too

I call BS on manufacturing costs for storage I really do, the main excuse is Trump's tariffs which don't work at all and never have. He's only done it to see if companies break under pressure and say they are moving to the US to manufacturer instead

WWE have just done it with Wrestlemainia for the first time ever it's left the USA it should have come to the UK first but now money talks and it's clear where they will all go. It's like EA waited for the above and then right we can go ahead with ours now.

The way it's running right now it won't, they've apparently listened to us players and are doing minor performance tweaks when it needs a major overhaul. The PC version is 144GB in size because it has every file in duplicate form and it shouldn't be like that, latest patch added another 4GB to it.

Right now it runs like ***** and can't even hold a decent frame rate even on a 5800X3D and 7900XTX and the games expires unsupported engine is a CPU hog. It also has been running crap on PS5 at times as well but that install size is half the size of PC.

It needs a totally new engine that's supported and easy for future employees to learn and use

@Nem Supposedly it was Michael Jackson that Collabed on the Sonic 3 soundtrack but Sega dismiss it, but MJs people didn't to also want to be associated with Sonic either it's such a weird situation.

I still sing all the level songs every now and then to Sonic 3 and even 2 because they were that dam good

They whole point of going into the Animus was to extract ancestor data from the host aka Desmond from the Ezio trilogy to find the apple of eden. That's what made that trilogy that dam good then Black Flag came and it was the same with Edward to remove it what's the point ?? Oh wait I know it's to make it better for the new generation

@Balaam_ On PS5 version of FF7 OG they didnt interfer with trophies I used the speed up cheat to walk through areas that took ages. I mean I've fully completed it gods knows how many times 28 years ago so you know

I played Part 1 back on the PS3 loved it brilliant game, I got 2 on launch for PS4 played about 3 days got bored. 2 years later my partner decided to start again and every now and then I would watch her play it or she would hand me the controller in frustration lol for parts to help her do.

Anyway I have never sat and watched something so boring in my life when it comes to a game. It dragged, dragged and dragged on for so long that you started to question is it over...... Nope..... Is it over....... Nope no wait yes.

I don't have high hopes for Part 3

I owned 1 and 2 on my Sega Mega Drive I didnt mind them to be honest back then it was something new and different, 2 was a bit better with the Nerf gun and Black hole power ups but 1 will forever be a challenge

I hated shift codes even when BL2 came out it's a stupid idea and can't believe they are still doing it

Wish they remaster Skies of Arcadia for god's sake that's a game that deserves to be remastered or remade it's awful that they are sitting on one of their Dreamcast's best IPs

They killed the game to make it playable for any newcomer because if you didn't buy the new dlc when it came out they left you behind. If you took a break they left you behind by sunsetting content and then upping your light level to certain level every time.

I was finishing off the main games story as I really took a side step to it when it came out, I wait for Forsaken to drop in price and got it then I took a break. I came back the main story was sunsetted and Forsaken was just weapons to still purchase they increased my light level and then because I was half way through the main story they pushed it to Holloway if I wanted to restart it or something like that.

I just removed it off my PC and I never returned and they continued to do that years later

I call BS even if they don't add the disc drive it will be £500-600 at best the CPU and GPU won't be cheap if it's AMDs next flagship hardware coming soon. Microsoft bragged on partnering with AMD on next gen silicon so Sony will have too, AMDs CPU market share is 40% and climbing Intel are now struggling badly.

Nvidia are 96% market share but Sony have had a bad rep with them because of PS3 and there prices are ridiculous too high. If it's far lower than £500 then Sony are willing to take a bigger hit this time round, I also believe it will be held back by PS5 as was PS5 with PS4 they've got them shelves in that cycle now and they can't get out of it because of price of the new console. Lack of next gen games due to longer development costs etc and some people just don't immediately upgrade like they used too or don't need too.

I still think it was part why Xbox is like it is now ever since it was brought up they want a sub streaming based gaming industry where you own nothing.

But again still think it's Xbox 1 downfall as good as it is too consumers to the competition part of wasn't against Sony

@Skippermonkey We got one for my son who's disabled because MS accessibility controller is one of the best ever made. But the games on it are a joke hardly no racing games to play for him and I'm shocked how it doesn't play more 360 games as I thought.

Hell the digital store doesn't even have many on either which is shocking, yes it's also down to publishers but it's this were the line is then drawn and Stop Killing Games comes in.

1TB NVMes aren't that expensive I bought a Crucial T500 1TB NVME for £84 October 2024 newly 1 year later it's £3 more at £87 and it includes a heat sink and works perfectly in my PS5 for spare storage.

@LetterTrackHighlight Rayman on PS1 was one of the best games on that system and era it's hard as nails as well

Sad day because we need competition in the gaming industry those that think this is a great thing really have no idea. Just look back the last 40 years of competition in the console space and now look how it's gone since Xbox One reveal and how that presentation basically started the downfall of 1 brand and go the way of Sega just minus the financial issues.

Gaming has changed yes but I'd rather have competition any day than today's current gaming consoles and industry as a whole
