In this digital era of PlayStation gaming, content is becoming more ephemeral, with titles pulled on and off the PS Store as a publisher pleases.

That will affect several games over the next couple of months, with some major names among them.

In the case of Genshin Impact, probably the most important game here, you will be able to transfer your progress to PS5, or another platform like PC or mobile. Make sure you’re using the same account, though, of course.

Any Trophies you’re missing will remain unobtainable, as the game requires an Internet connection.

If you’ve been playing mainly on the PS5 and earning Trophies there, it may be worth downloading and logging in on the PS4 version, just to automatically pop any gongs you’ve already unlocked elsewhere.

The situation is similar with The Finals, which is a live service game. Again, you’ll be able to transfer your progress to the PS5 version, which will remain playable for the foreseeable future.

Konami’s said that it’s plotting a new version of WBSC eBaseball to release in the future, but for now you’ll have to live without Power Pros.

And WWE 2K24 was already delisted from the PS Store earlier in the year, but this will conclude its complete takedown, with its online features disabled. While you will still be able to play some modes offline, this will affect Trophies, so just keep that in mind.
