I got Gamepass 3 months free with a new laptop great for big AAA games but years ago I streamed Dead space 1 via xCloud is worked great 4 years on still hardly no 360 games available not even ones I've bought well not many are due to licensing probably

I'll check it out on Gamepass on XSX I couldn't get into BL3 even though the graphics change was an improvement. Just you will never beat BL2 and it's story and characters especially Handsome Jack

Pre ordered this baby for Day 1 love the Devs they've done some brilliant work in the past and you get a lot with the game as extras to earn

They are only starting to reap the rewards now releasing games but they wouldn't have made the money they have releasing on PS. Because Xbox was dying due to lack of games from the Xbox One generation already

@Flaming_Kaiser Those FF games stayed true to it's winning format and I understand they have to evolve but I still think they would have sold more if it stayed to its turn based battle system. Just look at Ex 33 it's sold based on that very system well its turn based but like Persona style but it works and Persona games sell well based on its system characters story exactly like classic FF games 7 8 and 9 did

I generally think they've looked at Valve and Steam and seen how it's done over the decades and been the no.1 store front. They competed with them with Games for Windows Live and it failed so bad that to this day it's locked games to it until it's Dev decided to remove it or you have to have a work around.

I mean Capcom finally removed GFWL from Lost Planet 2 just recently but they've broken it to be unplayable for most

Microsoft gave me it for free on PC/Xbox sent me a code the other day to claim it because they think I own Gears 1 Ultimate but I don't I refunded it 1 day after I bought it last year on Windows 10/Xbox App it wouldn't work. Just a black screen when hitting new game they never fixed it either so I got a refund but they sent in the with the code to all owners of gears of War Ultimate.

It's in my library for August the downside back then was Unreal 3 was awful it had poor textures on 360/PS3 back then like they sort of didn't load anything in. And any game that used U3 looked awful and the same dull look

@Vyse_the_Legend They had too because the ones above Phil wouldn't be happy with the money spent in it's gaming divison. When the Acti/Blizzard buy out went through MS shareholders were rubbing their hands with glee as Xbox would finally have some software.

But it didn't no games were probably scheduled to come out for years and we're multi platform anyway, so they basically told Phil get ready to release software on every platform. Slowly phase out consoles to stop making a loss and get others to build hardware for us we'll be going full software/publisher

Some of these comments make me laugh because quite a few are clearly based on fanboism, they've no idea how competition works at all. "Microsoft is a cancer or they are evil" please if they pulled out then Sony would be a new Nvidia and you'd be priced out of the next gen PS for sure they will charge what they like.

Scalpers would see sales shoot up because they have the money to buy it, Nvidia saw this during COVID so did Sony but the chip demand was high across the board so consoles weren't getting made quick enough. The price of PS5 at the time also priced people out and again no Microsoft will do that for the foreseeable future, the fanboism is a joke it really is.

Sony don't owe you anything and they will clearly upset you to make money like every corp going. Unfortunately Microsoft did it to themselves with Xbox One under Don Mattrick he killed off the Xbox along with his team on that day, he alone killed off what Xbox 360 momentum had built for it's fan base

Microsoft gave me Gears Reloaded for free on PC they sent me an official message on the Xbox app on my phone. Saying those who own Gears 1 Ultimate can use this code to get Reloaded for free.

Thing is I bought G1 Ultimate last year on sale for like £3.74 on Windows 10 Store/Xbox App but it wouldn't work just a black screen when starting the game. So I got a refund but they still believed I owned it and have me the reloaded code for some reason

I think FFs huge following dwindled after FF10 and maybe FF10-X2, FF13 set the tone of where S.E were going and it had it's following but the FF just sort of moved on.

S.E and FF have sort of struggled since to be as popular as they were back in the PS1 and PS2 days. So much so that they basically caved in for the FF7 Remake which did well but again alienated nostalgia fans for the new player, I myself who personally loved FF7 (PS1) to death just didn't get it day 1 I just wasn't as interested anymore as I moved on.

Got to play FF7 Part in January this year and I like it but i am a nostalgic person and love to this day the old style RPG but I played it for a while I have Part 2 still in shrink wrapped case never opened it as I've not continued Part 1 to get to Part 2.

Hell I have this game as well but I haven't been interested in playing it my girlfriend got my this, Part 2 and Tekken 8 last year for Father's day but I don't have the RPG time to play these games

Doesn't beat E3 to me waiting each year for the week event to see what each had on their own big stage minus EA and Ubisoft they are always *****.

But to see other bits between like interviews with Devs etc

Started playing it on PC through Gamepass didn't realise it has forced upscaling I know my 5600/RX6600 8GB isn't powerful but even at 1080p you can't turn off upscaling at all so it really doesn't look good in cutscenes with the poor graphical glitches in the background

I just got 3 months free of Gamepass Ultimate with a new laptop and I've bought a month for PS+ because the other half loves playing Cluedo online against others

But Gamepass right now had some right beauties to play Expedition 33, Doom Dark Ages yes it's £15 a month but you get better games. PSN lately had been rubbish for new monthly choices 2042 who doesn't have that or I swear it's been on before

For PS+ I buy monthly at a time I do claim the games but probably never will play them, I mean what's the point in start 2042 anyway when a new Battlefield is coming out rather late to be honest

Konami have been crafty with MGS games if you already had the PS1 original version on PS3s store or through that store you would get the PS5 version for free. For example G-Police is £1.99 on PS3 store you get the PS5 version for free which through PSN via PS5 it's £8 there's other titles that do it.

MGS on the other hand doesn't because they have it in a collection and it doesn't work, yes they have listed them separately but again because it's a collection you don't get it for free

Thank god I cancelled my sub even for the basic tier, got a new laptop and got 3 months Xbox Gamepass Ultimate with it. If it's as good as they say it is I'll be subbing to that for my PC instead

I bought the arcade one that came out a while back and it wasn't as good as the arcade, the cartoony graphics really didn't make it look good compared to the original and I paid £15 got the PS4 and PS5 versions which you can plat both really easy

There is no where near that this game will run like that on Unreal 5 the entire engine is a stutter fest un-optimised piece of crap. It literally bricks GPUs because of it all and anyone with an 8GB GPU suffers, PS5 only has a 10GB 6800 unless CDPR have actually started to optimise their game I highly doubt it

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare Bungie made sure that of you didn't stay with Destiny 2 buy it's new content on day 1 you were forced out of the loop. I took a break and then came back and bought the Forsaken DLC on PS4 for like £20 what did they do practically sunset that content and now it's a weapons pack that goes on sale everytime for like £2 and the content was given for free or again removed can't remember.

Soon as that happened I vowed never to touch it ever it again and that was like what 2019 or 2020

I preferred it when it was a flat out £40 a year and 1 tier because ever since the 3 tier system it's just got worse. And every month the games have been meh at best yes it would be more now probably £100 a year but go back to a 1 tier system hell the lower tier is perfect for me but I go on a rolling system I cancel when I want and sun when I want

That's what happens when your going on a a stock buyback cut the studios etc to get the stock so you can pay your shareholders high dividends next year

The show is okay for my partner she played the game we as I haven't and probably won't I watched her from time to time and I did some sequence's for her she was stuck on. But it was the game as whole it just dragged on and on and on and even I was bored just watching her play it, just for all the end and it felt like a waste on what you thought was a revenge plot that wasn't

The ps app is broken I was trying to get prices for the yearly tier and it's "Something went wrong" error

But what pisses me off it why can you pay the monthly fee it says like for example PS+ Extra is £99.99 a year but with sale it's £74.99 equivalent to £6.25 a month why can't I pay that per month for that year sub
