Ripstone has announced the release date for Pure Pool Pro, its latest pool simulation game, and it's very close indeed.
The title arrives on PS5 next week, on 12th February 2026, priced at $24.99/£19.99/€24.99.
When it does turn up, it'll do so with some of the most polished-up visuals you'll find on Sony's current-gen system, supporting native 4K at up to 120 frames-per-second on PS5, and native 8K at 60 frames-per-second on PS5 Pro.
Building on its legacy of pool titles, this latest iteration aims to be its smoothest and most realistic yet.
The new trailer above highlights Pure Pool Pro's various features, too, including a career mode, numerous challenge modes, lots of unlockable cosmetics, crossplay support, and robust physics allowing for some impressive trick shots.
8-Ball and 9-Ball are both included, and Ripstone has previously stated that Snooker will come as post-launch DLC, just like 2014's Pure Pool.

I’ve seen some glossy balls in my lifetime. These definitely are the glossiest ones I’ve seen. Keep shinin’!
Glossy salty balls ?
I loved Pure Pool and spent a lot of time playing it with my then girlfriend/now wife. She has recently been talking about having more game nights so I might have to pick this up
Ray traced balls, all I ever wanted...
Best feature: you can earn different sets of balls.
Omg how do they get their balls so shiny?
Those balls are smooth as eggs
Dropped frames a plenty here then lol
And yet they ruined it with sloppy AI avatars on the career mode.
