Cuphead, seriously loving everything about it! Spectators would think otherwise because I'm swearing like a gangster rapping sailor. Also Sudden Strike 4, which is a bit meh imo. Still want to give it a proper run, so I'll push through.
Looking to wrap up the plat for Fire Pro Wrestling World this weekend. Some Hitman 2, Horizon Chase Turbo and have a look in the backlog. Feel like starting something new...
I’m having an absolute blast with the Monster Energy Supercross game! Fired it up a few days ago to wind down after an intense SOMA session but before I knew it I found the perfect settings (just arcade enough) and was blasting through championships, signing sponsor deals and shopping for new exhaust pipes like a madman. Ofcourse the game has its flaws and is far from perfect, but it was the motorcross game I never knew I needed right now.
Should have the plat wrapped up this weekend, then it’s back to SOMA and Valkyria Chronicles Remastered.
Oh and 2064: Read Only Memories on Vita, which is excellent so far!
Got the platinum for MK 11 a few days ago and started playing XCOM 2 for the first time. Really enjoying it and it’s a welcome change of pace from the reflex exercices in the Netherrealm.
Throwing in some Surviving Mars as well for some social experiments. I’m curious about the effect of only accepting vegan alcoholics on the general productivity and morale of the colony...
@RogerRoger That only sweetens the deal, especially at its current price.
It is indeed a gigantic file size, might have to spread out the downloads a bit. In return it is a huge amount of content, over a dozen different sandboxes to play in.
Thanks for the confirmation and the heads up and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Surviving Mars, so good! One of the best city builders/management sims I have ever played (sorry Aven Colony, you know I love you too). No handholding, no tedious campaign, just a chunk of Mars for you to explore en exploit.
Also Hitman 2, downloaded the free Starterpack and played the included first mission. It’s basically more Hitman, with some subtle gameplay tweaks... Excellent, picking up the full game in the current sale next week. If you own Hitman goty edition, do you get the Legacy Pack for free when you purchase the full game?
Next to that, I’m also doing a bit of a clean-up. Removed some games from the HD to make room for new ones, which is always a tough one.
Yakuza zero, on chapter 15 now and while earlier in the game I took long breaks between chapters to indulge in the side content I find myself just wanting story, story, story! Things are getting pretty intense and I love it.
Hooked on Yakuza Zero but running a cabaret club triggered that management itch again so I picked up Surviving Mars in the current sale.
Actually very curious how it differs from Aven Colony, which I loved. Their Tropico series is great fun but brings a little bit too much tiring micromanagement to the table, for my taste.
Far Cry 5, good ol’ laid back fun. Also Soulcalibur VI and after browsing through my darker games to fit the time of the year, SOMA, TWD Season 2 or the masterpiece Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs might get some playtime as well.
Oh and I also picked up the PS4 version of Doom (1993) so probably checking that out too.
I enjoy a few rounds of Xrd rev 2 from time to time. Never took the time to really get good at it, though. Love the option to switch between stylish for some laid back fighting with awesome effects and technical for serious open-end combo practising in Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.
That said, this looks absolutely glorious, looking forward to seeing some more character movesets and stages.
This gen has been nothing but amazing for fans of all kinds of fighting games.
Grim Fandango Remastered, they don’t make ‘em like that anymore.
Also For Honor mp to take advantage of the bonus xp event and I’m very close to the Onrush platinum, which I really enjoy but some of these challenges are a pain.
Hotline Miami 2, 99 Vidas and maybe some Persona 4 DAN on Vita.
@Bonbonetti I like to return to SL Rally Evo from time to time too. The huge amount of content keeps me coming back. I must admit I usually also play with a lot of assists on, I don’t take enough time to practice.
@makoshichi This article is not about Nintendo “losing the console war”. Nintendo is doing an excellent job! That is why this comparison greatly puts in perspective how big PSN is.
This is a website run by and for Playstation fans, very down-to-earth and sincere. Ofcourse there are jokes and banter but calling Push Square a fanboy den is not fair IMO.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 333
MLB The Show 19 / Castlevania SOTN, just beat Beëlzebub. Man, that fight was a pain. / Guilty Gear xrd Rev 2
I’m also looking to buy Shadow Tactics in the current sale so maybe I’ll get to give that a go as well.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 332
Castlevania SOTN (as part of Requiem), Guilty Gear xrd rev 2 and Mafia III on PS4.

Re: Hitman 3 Is the Darkest Entry Yet, a 'Love Letter' to Hardcore Fans
The darkest entry in the franchise...
*Challenge 52/128: Slap a target with a fish dressed as Corky The Clown.
Love experimenting in the sandboxes. Still have the Hitman 2 expansion to play but my favourite levels so far are Sapienza and Whittleton Creek.
Re: Best Hidden Gems and Overlooked Games on PS4
Great list! The Sexy Brutale and Gorogoa are two unique little gems that deserve a shout here from me as well.

Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, Titanfall 2 and SOMA. Really enjoying this rotation, quality titles!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 314
Surviving Mars, I have developed an unhealthy interest in cloning people. Never knew I had a mad scientist side in me.
Also some Sonic Mania and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Bastion on Vita

Re: PS Plus February 2020 PS4 Games Announced
So the rumour was N.Sense...
Well, it seems like the poor Sims are facing some horrible deaths.
Very happy with Bioshock, though!
Re: Hey, Guess What? The Uncharted Movie Has Lost Another Director
I’ve got nothing to say about this article but I really like this colour scheme. Would love this as an option for the whole website.

Re: Mini Review: GRIS - This Simple 2D Platformer Paints a Gorgeous Picture on PS4
The first screenshot made me immediately think of Child of Light. Upon closer inspection it seems quite different, beautiful nontheless.
Looks like a solid experience when in need of a melancholic distraction.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 292
@get2sammyB are you playing on Vita or PS4? It’s a very relaxing game, there are a lot of things to do but you don’t have to do anything.
For me it’s Far Cry 5, Hollow Knight and Soulcalibur VI this weekend.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 291
Hollow Knight, Soul Calibur VI and SW BF2 to check out the new content. All on PS4.
Iconoclasts and 99 Vidas on Vita.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 290
Hooked on Soulcalibur VI, got it yesterday from the Big in Japan sale and just can’t seem to put it down.

Re: The Big in Japan Sale Jumps onto EU PlayStation Store Today
I think I'll finally pick up SOULCALIBUR Ⅵ.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 286
Hyper Light Drifter on PS4. Absolutely loving the combat and it looks so good, great game.
Thinking about starting Iconoclasts on Vita.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 284
@KratosMD I enjoyed Here They Lie, a bizarre, dark and twisted walking sim with survival horror elements is how I would describe it.
Re: Random: You Can Buy an Official Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Incense Burner
Surprised they didn’t name it N.Cense.
Re: PS Vita Island Closed as Sony Officially Lays Handheld to Rest
Vita + PS4, all I need for now and all I will need for years to come, playing games all across the generations.
Re: Site News: Push Square Is Now Ten Years Old (We Think)
Here’s to another decade of the finest coverage of everything PlayStation around!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 260
I will be laying around in the grass, eating frogs and snakes, smoking my cigar and talk about classic movies over the radio with a paramedic.
Might play some Metal Gear Solid 3 too.
Re: Talking Point: What Free March 2019 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
@FinneasGH +1 for The Witness.
I would be happy with any Wolfenstein or Far Cry game as well.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 259
Some Metal Gear Solid 3 on Vita. It’s glorious.
Re: New Sale on US PlayStation Store Offers Discounts on Critically Acclaimed Games
@playstation1995 Mobb Deep, The Infamous! He ain’t a crook, son. He’s just a shook one.
Re: Weekend Flash Sale Hits EU PlayStation Store
@misterMike I came here to say exactly the same thing.
Enjoy!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 258
@Bonbonetti The Loeb experience is an excellent addition to the game. Sebastien Loeb is such a legend!
I even enjoyed the rallycross events, although they are my least favourite events in rally games but the tracks are ace.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 258
@Bonbonetti I like to return to SL Rally Evo from time to time too. The huge amount of content keeps me coming back. I must admit I usually also play with a lot of assists on, I don’t take enough time to practice.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 258
DB FighterZ story mode, Nier: Automata and some Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PS4.
Metal Gear Solid 3 on Vita.
Re: FIFA 19 Rebranded for Champions League, And CR7's Gone
@PS_Nation Neymar should be on the cover of Subnautica.
Re: Bee Simulator Will Pollinate PS4 in Late 2019
I'll probably wait until it's part of a Bumble Bundle.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 257
As much Nier: Automata I can stuff into my busy weekend.
I thought I was ready for some online DB FighterZ this morning. I wasn’t.

Re: PlayStation Plus February 2019 Games Announced
Already own Hitman, might try For Honor some time. That’s cool though, lots of stuff to play.
It does work as a friendly reminder to return to Hitman!
Re: The Hong Kong Massacre - Hotline Miami's Chinese Knock-Off
Looks like something I would enjoy but I don't mind waiting for a sale.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 256
Nier: Automata, Hitman and DB FighterZ on PS4.
Dynasty Warriors Next and 2064: Read Only Memories on Vita.
