And just like that, there are dozens of video games vying for your attention. Resident Evil 2 is out now, while Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has been flying around for a few days. And right around the corner? Kingdom Hearts III. In fact, retailers are breaking the street date all over the world – which is particularly frustrating seeing as Square Enix has told virtually all UK publications that it doesn’t have enough copies to go around. We still don’t have it yet!

Assuming it actually works, I'll be putting some hours into the ANTHEM demo. It's obviously too early to say whether BioWare's looter shooter will be a success, but I do think the demo shows promise. That said, it's definitely rough around the edges. We'll have to see how it goes.

This week I am strapping up with Resident Evil 2 and heading into Raccoon City for my first day with the RPD. I sure hope it goes well! Now, if I can just get through this first shift without anything major then I’ll be able to make it to the release of Kingdom Hearts III.

After months of waiting I finally got my hands of The Walking Dead: Final Season, it’s wonderful seeing the game flourishing after the sad end of Telltale games. Carrying on with the zombie theme I’ve also been playing the Resident Evil 2 Remake for review and now the embargo has lifted I can finally finally talk about how incredible this game is. It’s cinematic, atmospheric and truly unnerving. I can’t wait to see where Capcom go next.

This weekend I will be checking out the ANTHEM demo. At first I was sceptical about the game but from the looks of it it looks really well polished. Other then that I will be playing more Diablo III completing seasonal challenges.
