Sidescrolling through my weekend with Castlevania: Rondo of Blood (Castlevania Requiem), Darkwing Duck (Disney Afternoon Collection) and the Streets of Rage trilogy (Sega Megadrive Classics).

I really enjoy these retro bundles on PS4, looking to pick up the Capcom Beat ‘em up Bundle soon as well.

Tekken 7, 3D fighting in all its glory. Mandatory game in any fighting fan’s library.

I personally prefer the fighting in SF V but I played online until I reached the point where it stopped being fun. This has nothing to do with the quality of the game, I just didn’t enjoy the way I was playing anymore. Still, the fighting is phenomenal.

Injustice 2, to me, delivers the best presentation. Glorious storymode, awesome stage transitions, endless multiverse madness.

Guilty Gear XRD Rev 2 looks great and the fighting is smooth but I have no idea what’s going on storywise. The online multiplayer lobby is the most deserted place on the entire PSN.

I just got DB FighterZ in the current sale but I haven’t played yet and I need to get into Soul Calibur VI soon.

@kyleforrester87 It’s a night that takes us back to the days when life was simple. We don’t see eachother enough these days so we all find it important to honour this tradition.

@MonkeyDLuffy19 Even though we kick some serious ass after a few hours practice I wouldn’t call us hardcore or dedicated. Just a bunch of guys enjoying a nostalgic tradition.

Enjoy the rest of your sunday, gents!

Tomorrow me and a bunch of friends have our annual LAN-party. It's the 7th year we do this and it is always an absolute blast!

Every year we set up our network in a room of the local youth center, everybody brings his own pc and we play Unreal Tournament 2004 / Age of Empires 2 / Warcraft 3 all night long. There will also be a beamer and a gamecube for Mario Kart and Smash Bros Melee in between sessions! Throw in some beer and deep fried snacks and you have yourself a night of mayhem!

Really looking forward to it, going to play some UT 2004 tonight to see how rusty my skills have become.

@RogerRoger Burley Men At Sea is a jolly little experience indeed. Took me a little over 2 hours to platinum and I enjoyed it a lot. The music stood out for me.

I will be trying some challenges and circuit experiences in Gran Turismo Sport, some Boss Rush bonanza in The Disney Afternoon Collection and some Multiverse madness in Injustice 2.

@RogerRoger I’m really glad I did this but I’m also ready to take a long break from the genre.

You will never find me sitting alone in a dark room playing a survival horror but I came to appreciate a lot of things in these type of games. The slow pacing, emphasis on sound effects, music and the use of silence. All these elements contribute to an intense experience, which I deeply enjoy but only when I’m in the right mood.

I bought the Disney Afternoon Collection in the recent sale to play something completely different. Took a quick look at the trophy list: now that’s scary! Also looking to return to some action games: GOW 3 Remastered, Hitman, Just Cause 3,...

Enjoy your weekend!

I would like to add Aven Colony. Amazing game that plays like it was made for PS4.

There are a lot of titles on this list that I have yet to play. It’s great that strategy games find their way to home consoles and work well without mouse and keyboard.
