@ATaco Id say it's very likely those mini games will be cut in the remake. It doesn't fly in 2026 and was always a bit cringe anyway.

@Scottyy I haven't tried it yet but I believe the arcade mode is limited lives with no continues. There is a trophy for completing arcade on hard mode that is apparently quite tricky.

Wow that's quite a hefty update. I have been holding off starting this as I knew it was coming. Going to get stuck in once I've obtained the Shredder's Revenge Platinum. Cowabunga!

What an incredible month. If you aren't happy with it then your expectations are beyond unrealistic. Spiderman 2 and Neva are both 9/10 games.

@cainhurst94 All of those you listed are great games and there is a whole new audience that haven't played them yet. They get the opportunity to play in the best quality possible with plenty of QoL adjustments to make them more modern.

What you have just said Is the equivalent of suggesting The Godfather should only be watched by people 60+. Great media is timeless.

I haven't bought a full priced game in years at this point but I'm super tempted by Dragon Quest 7. I love the series and am yet to play that one.

I adore my portal and think the LCD screen is of very high quality. The best thing about the machine is the ergonomics. Very comfortable to play on. I would be tempted by the oled upgrade if priced appropriately....

@KonstantTrouble Does constantly carry those goal posts hurt your back? I'm worried you're going to have mobility problems later in life.

I bet Sony are very happy with those numbers. 7% attach rate for the Portal is very healthy as well. It's a brilliant device.

@Propaperpusher That's a shame. I do remember that boss being frustrating but the DLCs are arguably better than the base game (especially Blood and Wine).

I hope so. The game holds up really well considering it is 11 years old (!). I would definitely play new content if it released.

I don't know why more studios don't do this more often. Split off a small team to provide more content for a released game. It would be a great way to make the long wait for new games easier.

Another amazing year of games. I currently have 87 games installed on my PS5 that I want to get around to, and I have only bought 2 of the 15 games I'm interested in on this list.

So many games and so little time.

I love this game but don't think it's the best thing since sliced bread. It wouldn't be my personal game of the year but I can understand why it would be for others. Looking forward to seeing what Sandfall does next.

Great list so far. I'm usually a year or two behind on releases so these lists are a godsend when choosing what to play next year.

@Balaam_ Hard to defend someone's top spot? What? This is Liam's personal opinion of the games he enjoyed most throughout the year. Clearly he enjoyed the game more than you. Why would that need to be defended? Bizarre.

@Doctor_BK It's more like one big Majoras Mask side quest than Blue Prince.

I know the term hidden gem gets used a lot but I feel with The Sexy Brutale it fits really well. It's a really good game that never received enough praise when it was released.

It's been another amazing year for games.

A good game that loses steam a little over halfway through. If they had made it a tighter 15-20 hour experience it would have been great. Looking forward to the sequel.

The race to the bottom for the sake of achieving maximum profit margins is going to be the death of a lot of medium - large sized companies. It's unsustainable.

Been intrigued by this one since it was announced. Great review and can't wait to play through. It being available on PS Extra is the cherry on the top.

This seems to be on the lower end for scores (Nintendo Life gave it a 9/10). The main complaint of the first two games was the disparate stories (I still enjoyed them though). Surely the more singular approach to storytelling is a positive for those people no?

I started playing last week and put it on the back burner in case of an update coming. Once I'm done with RDR I'm going to jump back in. Looking forward to playing Phantom Liberty (I have completed the base game once already) as I hear nothing but praise for it.

I haven't played this game since release and I've just started ok my PS5. It looks stunning at 4k60. I'm surprised at how well it holds up. Let's hope we get GTAIV (with both expansions) next.

I feel like there is a real gap in the market for those kinds of simpler management Sims. FM has been too complex for a while now. I have zero desire to attend press conferences and set training schedules (I know you can kind of automate them but still....).

@TrollOfWar No one said there was anything wrong with it. There is just a increase in the amount of people dooming on here and submitting comments such as: 'Just another reason to get a PC rather than a PS5' (as evidenced in this thread). It's always the same commenters as well. They know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it.

As stated in my previous comment - I'm happy that these games are reacher larger audiences.

On topic - Awesome news. I'm yet to play 2 but I'm always happy to see games reaching as wide an audience as possible.

I wish I had the time that some of you do. I adore my PS5 and my backlog is huge. I'm a patient gamer and cannot keep up with how many great games are released for the system every year.
