Well deserved! As someone who grew up with the books and movies (I'm the same age as the three main actors), Harry Potter was such a huge part of my childhood. This game did a just phenomenal job of capturing the atmosphere and magic of that universe.

Not my personal cup of tea but very impressive numbers, especially considering it was available on PS plus extra at one point

This game is pure fun, even though I'm a grown ass adult i still had a good time playing, though, i gotta finish (it's in my backlog). I just hope they can improve performance and change engine in the next game. Unreal Engine is one of the worst game engines ever

A good game that loses steam a little over halfway through. If they had made it a tighter 15-20 hour experience it would have been great. Looking forward to the sequel.

Really enjoyed this game - I'm actually replaying at the moment (4th playthrough I think).
I think they did an amazing job of creating a proper Hogwarts game, even though there are a couple of weird lore errors here and there (eg why is the Stupefy bolt colour white? It should be red and this is probably the most described spell colour throughout the books behind green for Avada Kedavra!)

I also think that Technically it is very good too - the only issue being loading stutters in some rooms in the castle, but generally it holds a very high framerate.

It also has a fantastic Pro Enhancement - just ignore the new RT mode - the Standard Performance mode is by far the most enhanced mode.

One of my 2 favourite games this entire generation.

NB I highly recommend using max difficulty though, as the combat system in this game is very deep - much deeper than most videos will show.

I wonder if this also includes all copies recently sold for £0.00 on the Epic Game Store in their last free giveaway?

I grabbed the deluxe edition for $12 last week. I've barely started the game, but it seems like it's going to be very hand-holdy. I hate having a yellow marker floating in the middle of the screen telling me where to go all the time. Let me explore, darn it! I'll have to dive into the settings and see if it can be disabled.

Loved this game. Got the plat on PS5 and all the cheevos on Series X.

It starts of pretty strong but gets kind of boring by the end. I also dislike the inventory system since you constantly run out of space and have to sell/drop your gear.

Had a blast with this game! Really hoping the WB drama doesn't affect the sequel. This one is basically the one bright spot WB games can point to as an undeniable success. Netflix, Paramount, or whomever owns WB would do well not to mess with it.

It's been generously cheap for a long time and I wish I could buy it but...TIME, looking at all my unfinished games. I wanted to even buy Hades but again...time.

@Deljo Well comment sections were turning into warzones with both sides acting toxic to each other.

Its a good game but very much carried by the IP. Still its nice to see a single player game with zero MTX or even DLC do insanely well.

Great game, and a fantastic first effort. I look forward to seeing how far they can push the systems forward in a sequel. My wishlist would be:
1. a proper school experience, with a timetable, a la Bully. (Maybe the Time Turner could make an appearance for when you need to be in class, but also somewhere else for a quest.)
2. deeper combat, maybe with summons or other CC options.
3. less of a "chosen one" storyline - I just want to be a regular Joe Schmoe.
4. Deeper character creator so I can really put myself and my family members in the game, not just get somewhere in the ballpark.

I haven't seen it being sold at full price on psn in a long time
