We're huge fans of Vampire Survivors here at Push Square. Not only is it a tremendously compelling "bullet heaven" game, it also costs a mere £3.99/$4.99.

It's about as good a bang for your buck as you're likely to find on PlayStation, and it looks like the upcoming spin-off, Vampire Crawlers, is following suit — sort of.

As revealed in the silly trailer below, the dungeon crawler/deckbuilder hybrid will retail for £9.99/$9.99; still relatively cheap of course, though more than twice the price of the original game. Having said that, we're confident it'll definitely be worth that and more.

The trailer also reveals a release date; we'll all be building powerful decks and filling screens with crazy combos on 21st April 2026.

If you're just catching up, Vampire Crawlers is set within the same world as the beloved Vampire Survivors, but its gameplay is very different.

Rather than avoiding enemies while your attacks and powers trigger automatically, you navigate simple maps in first-person, and battles become turn-based affairs where you use cards to deal damage and apply buffs.

With similar presentation and music, it certainly has the feel of Vampire Survivors, and it also has its super-fast sense of progression. You level up fast, and your cards can be made way more powerful with gems that apply all sorts of benefits.

If Crawlers offers anywhere near the amount of satisfaction and enjoyment as Survivors, it'll easily justify its price.
