@GADG3Tx87 Yeah, and it's just as wrong over there. The fanboying clamour for companies to buy others out is so weird. It's just another example of having to 'pick a side' which seems to permeate popular culture.

@PSme Why? They are already partnered closely with Sony. The games already exist there. All that would do it stop people on other platforms from enjoying their games.

Awesome. I'm halfway through Forbidden West and absolutely loving it. It took me a while to pick it up due to the lukewarm reception from a lot of people, maybe that's why I am enjoying it so much. My expectations were lowered.

@Michael2008ish Cutscenes aren't the issue since very little is pre rendered nowadays. The 4k textures and audio files are what take up most of the space.

I thought the 'power of the PS5' was supposed to reduce file sizes thanks as a consequence of not having to store multiple copies of assets. 147GB is insane.

Seems the stock limitations are pretty much over. Good stuff. Hopefully the rest of the market will start getting back to normal and things like second hand cars will drop in price again.

I'm playing through Forbidden West at the minute and Aloy is such a good character. Confident but empathetic.

@Kidfunkadelic83 4 and 6 are easily the best. They have a great story and great characters. 5 is also decent but lacking in the story department.

Without nostalgia I'd say it's best to avoid 1, 2 and 3.

Can drop me off at home on the way. I drive past that power station regularly. It's an absolute eyesore.

This is unironically the best VR game out right now. It's great.

@nomither6 It was not a beta. Game has been out for a year. This is just a marketing ploy hoping to get an initial boost on the next release. It isn't going to work. Game simply isn't good enough to keep people invested long term.

Their character design really fell off of a cliff after the first game huh? Most of the heroes in Overwatch 1 looks really cool and unique.

The beta was fine. Not overly impressive or disappointing. Once it was over I fired 3 back up on the Switch. That game is fantastic.

Absolutely devastating. One of my favourite actors. RIP.

Christ. This guy clearly has no idea how difficult/ how long it takes to make a game. Looking forward to seeing FIFA waste money on a pointless endeavour. I guess it won't matter though, they can always swindle and extort more.

I have a close family member who has a gambling addiction. He has finally admitted it and is seeking help much to my relief. He says that it all started with CSGo skins.

Anyone who doesn't understand why this stuff needs to be regulated hasn't seen anyone struggling with a gambling addiction. Just like any addiction it is a compulsive need that must be fulfilled. It's not as simple as 'just don't spend your money on it'. These business practices are normalizing these feelings for kids/ vulnerable adults.

As a society we are miles behind where we need to be in recognizing and helping people with a gambling addiction. It's isn't seen in the same light as alcohol or tobacco addiction but can be just as harmful to people's health.

Top tip for anyone playing this: Don't use the face buttons at all. Alternate between L1 and R1. Makes hitting those notes close together way easier.

@Judal27 You get used to the double notes and it becomes second nature.

As a fellow lover of XIV's music I can assure you the representation is miles better than the 3DS games.

Button inputs were always the superior way to play, unless you happen to love hand cramps.

No SRPGS for 20 years and then fifty of them come at once.

This looks decent although that trailer did very little for me.

And the live service model takes another victim. I understand that it only takes one hit for companies to start making infinite money but as the market gets bigger there is less space for anyone new in it. Companies must be haemorrhaging money on these failed attempts.

It's a real shame as well because this is a decent game. It was just monetized horribly. I give it 2 months before they start talking about turning off the servers.

@Bdbrady I agree with you somewhat but we really need a way to play it on modern platforms.

I think if it got the Tactics Ogre treatment that would be perfect. A HD touch-up, a few balance tweaks and more VO. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

@SolaceCreed Is that why they split ties with them? That has to be commended if so. I thought it was because FIFA was demanding double this year for license naming rights. Could be both I guess...

@MindfulGamer I played the first two and they are fine for what they are. They are short and basic in both gameplay and story. You get what you pay for.

@nessisonett I think it's the same few handful of people that have nothing better to do with their lives than spout useless sh*te on the internet. Whenever I see a comment like that it's always from a new account with one or two comments. Makes me feel a bit sorry for them really.

@KidBoruto Yeah, I think you are right. Would be interesting to see how they do it.

I think they may release it in one part rather than the episodic way they have done FF7. There isn't really any large areas (like Midgar) that could be expanded into a full game in its own right. You move from one place to another quite swiftly.

@MindfulGamer SRPGs are my favourite genre but I totally appreciate your opinion. They can be a bit dense. You mentioned you liked Vandal Hearts Flames of Judgement. Have you played the first two Vandal Hearts on PS1? They are really good, streamlined and hold up really well.

The episode was pretty good. I like the series so far. It's not the best thing since sliced bread but they've done a good job. would get a 7/10 thus far from me.

Game looks really good. Not willing to drop £70 on any game but once it hits a decent sale I'll pick it up. Glad to see it turned out well.

Zoom hacks sound like something that isn't a big deal but it really gives an advantage in this game. The way the fights flow having a birdseye view of the whole arena makes a huge difference.

@ShogunRok I am such a person. Played 5 and now I'm 10 hours into 4.

I really like it so far. It's a little rougher around the edges and does feel like a step back in some ways, but the general blueprint is still there.

One part that really does feel quite a bit less fleshed out is the dungeons. I've only done the first but it feels way more generic than 5's carefully curated levels. Also, maybe it opens up more going forward but it feels slightly more restrictive in how many interesting places you can visit in comparison to 5. Still early days though.

Great game. Playing it on Switch since handheld is a great way to play these games. Definitely going to finish it.

I really want to buy this but can't justify it before Sunbreak comes out since I already have that on Switch. It improves the game so much.
