Welllllll if I already didn't want to play the series after the previous reviews, the thoughts in the various threads in the forum and trying the demo for this one... Then I do now after this glowing review (and a few others for good measure) as it sounds delightful!

All I need is to find a physical copy of the first Cold Steel now for PS4 to sink my teeth in and start my adventure... which is proving hard to do as the silly thing has sold out everywhere in the UK 😂

I hope MediEvil gets higher then 35 to debut at least!

Also I figure Ring Fit Adventure at fifth makes us... decently imaginative even if it's a weird ring controller peripheral and some excercise game!

I like these though, short and sweet is what you want at times. Especially good for a quick read whilst walking round on playground duty!

All you need is a bit of better branding... Maybe mentioning it in the article title it's a mini review? Along with it's own section in the tabs and tags or whatever

Game sounds good. Haven't played one of these types of games since Theme Park World for PS1 that my daughter begged me to buy her... Might have to give this a look at some point!

I don't have a snarky quip or a flash of brilliance with some quick wit this time around.

Just thoroughly disapointed that people are STILL putting up with Bethesda's pathetic excuses and business practices

I probably won't get one til it's more the £200-300 or so range if it does come out at around £400-£500 anyway.

As others have said I've got plenty on PS4 to get and I'm in no rush

Not every game needs to be a graphical powerhouse, especially from a first time chinese developer (I think at least?) not to mention there's plenty of indie games that wouldn't look out of place on the snes

All the other quibbles in the review on the other hand make it something I don't think I'll ever wanna play really... Still nice to see it get some coverage!

Much as I have liked the Metal Gear series (I assume you don't from your comment) if Death Stranding is bad I hope it (Or any game really) gets no preferential treatment in the reviewing process whatsoever!

Death Stranding has looked like it'll be a marmite kinda game from the very beginning. I still don't entirely know what I think about it!

If it COULD play physical discs from just the PS1, PS2 and PS4 then there's only one thing I'd have to say to Sony

Nah... Dark Souls is better even with the rushed as heck areas

I find Dark Souls 3 better too. Maybe even the second & Demon's souls or at least they're on par with it.

The scaled back number of weapons, useless magical items & no magic at all make it very hard to revisit and feel fresh (Or at least fresher) with there not really being any build variety at all

Trick weapons are a good feature though and I loved the Victorian setting The lovecraftian horror was a neat surprise too

Demon's souls sold 2 million copies on PS3 alone and Bloodborne on PS4 has sold higher at 3 going on 4 million or so. If that's a small fanbase then I don't know what is.

Not to mention Bluepoint are rather chummy with Sony and If I'm remembering an article I read correctly the developers for Skies have no desire to even do a slight graphics bump remaster of that game... soooo... There's a better chance of hell freezing over unfortunately

I'd love a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 but you seem to confuse Konami with a company that gives a damn about anything other then it's fitness clubs anymore @DarthAmmii .

Plus as I said above to tato, Bluepoint seem incredibly chummy with Sony so unless Sony has miraculously bought the Metal Gear Solid rights I wouldn't get your hopes up!

The fact it has so little player input it seems more like it'd be better suited as an arthousey 30 minute animation or something... the fact it is a "game" seems to have very little bearing on the whole

This game was a ghost for absolute AGES.

That there's 12 hours of story with there apparently being 30 hours overall (And most of it is probably just gonna be get this hero to lvl 20, beat thugs x amount of times or get upgrade materials or whatever "Game As A Service" twaddle they roll out) and they want this to be the next best thing since sliced bread?

Dark Souls II: Scholar Of The First Sin on PS4. Restarted it thanks to the save glitching and the timer jumped from 3 hours to 959:59. Didn't need to but it was very annoying.

Luckily I got back to where I was within an hour and a half. Fighting The Pursuer soon!

And for PS2 It's Jade Cocoon 2 once again... Been neglecting it a little but I'm nearing the end anyways!
