@Ithinkyousuck yes because PS5 can play PS4 games. There really isn’t a lot you can play on PS5 and not PS4 anyway.

@Jeanhenry you ain’t wrong. I’d have hesitated at £50 for this game at £70 there’s absolutely no chance now.

People around here who defend this seem to forget we don’t all have the money to throw at games, a hike of £20 is no small amount especially during a pandemic when people are losing jobs not gaining them. Very short sighted people, or rich.

I’m interested in it but not for £70. To be fair I won’t be paying that for any new games from Sony or anyone else.

As a fan of one of these clubs I find it disgusting and an insult to the clubs history. No matter what happens I won’t forgive them for this act of pure greed.

As for FIFA I don’t care what happens to it I don’t play it anymore.

This guy can ***** off, buy games when you want, especially now that first party titles have gone up in price thanks to Sony’s greed.

As long as it doesn’t affect their console titles I don’t care. I’ll just ignore the mobile ones completely like I do any other mobile game.

I do not like the direction Sony have been going in and this just adds to that I guess.

I’m going to laugh when all the Sony Gamepass haters sign up to Sony’s equivalent day one and start singing it’s praises haha! It’ll be marvellous, there’s a lot of hypocrites out there.

Their uncharted vita game was pretty good but played it really safe. They could have done a proper sequel well I feel.

Something new is always good and while I enjoyed days gone I wouldn’t be bothered if there is never a second.

I do not like the direction Sony are taking in general, but green lighting something new over something relatively safe, is something I can’t criticise them for.

60 is better but I’ve been playing RDR2 at 30fps and it’s still phenomenal so in the grand scheme of things I don’t give a ***** as long as the games good either way.

Such a good game I played a lot of it on Switch. Might be worth getting back into with achievements/trophies, the battles are fun imo.

I have Gamepass so may as well give it a whirl again there.

Microsoft: we’re going to offer value and 100’s of games for a small subscription and keep offering value each month.

I know which I prefer. Gamepass is pretty great.

@__jamiie even if you’ve got both the question is which will PS5 miss, not which will you miss which is why I agreed with you those saying none aren’t being honest. The question isn’t about the individual it’s about the PlayStation ecosystem 😅

Elder Scrolls is huge, even if you don’t like it you have to realise it not being on PlayStation is a pretty big deal.

@deathaxe you say that like there’s no value in older games when there is. I had a go of Oblivion on Gamepass today and it still looks and plays pretty nice, especially with Xbox’s excellent auto HDR.

They may be 5 years or older but there’s some quality games added and people will play them.

@Mince like I said I’m 7 hours in and I’ve enjoyed it so far but I wouldn’t say I’m sold on it immediately. If the story comes together and stays as interesting as I’m finding it now I can see why people love it.

@Olmaz I’m enjoying it, only 7 hours in so early days but it’s very much a visual novel first and foremost, the battles don’t look great I agree with you but they do feel fairly satisfying to play.

I feel this game is either going to absolutely blow me away eventually or it’ll be a letdown, it’ll completely rely on the story.

@Dezzy70 I don’t disagree with any of your points about the PS5. The series X feels like a finished product compared to PS5 and it’s much better designed too I don’t care what anyone says.

I bought it in the last sale and have been playing it for a week or so. It’s.... interesting, I just hope it all makes sense eventually as it’s a complete mind ***** right now 😂

Sony are in a really really good place right now, they’re reaping the benefits of a poor last gen showing from MS and their strong investment into exclusives.

I do think the landscape is changing though and not just with competition from Microsoft. You have companies like Tencent and Amazon investing in gaming heavily and while anything coming into fruition from them may be a few years off, I feel Microsoft has anticipated where the market could be and set themselves up very well with Gamepass for the future, where as Sony have not.

We’ll see how things play out, interesting times ahead.

@kingv84 Microsoft has always had exclusives, its just a Sony fanboy narrative that they haven’t. Now you can question the quality of exclusives but they’ve always been there.

Oh boy 😅 it’s ok though all PlayStation owners have high end PC’s right so they won’t miss out. Win win you won’t need to buy an Xbox to play them.

Seriously if Sony would have bought Bethesda it would be similar but the other way around and most of you would be cheering.

@Salt_AU it’s not as simple as PlayStation vs Xbox anymore. Yes PlayStation have a bigger console base but Xbox have gamepass/games on console, pc, streaming and whatever else they choose to release on in the future. You can’t just compare console v console anymore, MS are using a different strategy.

It’s a win either way, by releasing ‘some’ on PlayStation, Microsoft will be raking in money from every avenue. Smart.

@huyi I don’t get your arguement? You’re ok buying a PlayStation for exclusives but don’t want to buy an Xbox for the same reason? I understand you may be disappointed elder scrolls won’t make it to PlayStation but that’s just business. Sony money hat timed exclusivity all the time and Xbox fans suffer, but you ain’t bothered if it’s the other way around.

Either way Bethesda titles day one on Gamepass is going to be one hell of a good deal along with all of their other first party studio output.

9/10 for me. Finished it on Xbox last year, one of the most fun games I’ve spent 80 hours with.

@Tecton217 oh 30fps mode is definitely choppy with Like A Dragon! I tried it and switched it right back over to 60. Enjoy mate! Great great game.

@Tecton217 that’ll be the case, it was same on the Xbox, not very helpful. I played through at 60fps, very smooth.

I finished this on the Series X last year and it was one of the best games I played of the year. It’s story is amazing, it’s consistently funny and Ichiban is a great lead character. It was 80 odd hours of pure fun.

Definitely worth playing on PS4 or 5 if you haven’t already.

@NEStalgia absolutely I can’t argue with that 🤣 BUT they’ve managed to make the early story a complete mess with Remake, so much nonsense added to the easiest part of the story to tell.
