Until it’s more comfortable and affordable I have no interest in VR. PSVR2 is too expensive to go mainstream and will stay pretty niche imo and I don’t trust Sony to continue to support the medium with strong games.

I had a great laugh watching someone play through the first hour or so on YouTube. This game is tragic.

Reading through comments relating to the graphics I think people are expecting too much from the current systems. You just aren’t going to get the graphics you seem to be expecting especially when gamers are requiring 60fps as the minimum.

There’s nothing to this story. Im sure it can happen on very rare occasions but so can anything. The PS5 still has a ridiculous design and is ugly though 😜

I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens but it’s not going to while they’re battling Microsoft over the AB acquisition. Just like Activision, SE do little of interest to me, FF has moved on from what I want and expect from the franchise so I don’t care where their games end up.

@xDD90x it’s not MetaHumans tech from unreal 5. I was watching DF podcast tonight and they clarified that it’s separate tech away from UE5.

No surprise, it’s too popular an IP to just drop, especially with a TV show on the way. Personally I’m out, I did not enjoy the second game, I thought the writing was woeful. I’ll never forget Abby getting bonked on a boat for no reason 🤣

@Titntin man A Plague Tale, I enjoyed the game but those characters do not shut up. I found Amicia even more annoying, probably because you play as her 90% of the time.

On topic if this wasn’t a FF game I’d have no interest in it. The gameplay isn’t for me. I doubt I’ll pick it up.

@Dezzy70 FH5 is a micro transaction filled embarrassment I wouldn’t pay £70 for it. I can forgive it somewhat while playing it on Gamepass but there’s no way I’d pay top dollar for it.

@Dezzy70 at £70 Xbox games need to start delivering. Their main IP’s (Gears, Halo, Forza) are all riddled with micro transactions that you expect to see in free to play mobile games. It’s not a great look at £50 let alone £70.

What a bizarre article. I haven’t seen anyone expecting lower priced PS5 games because Xbox hadn’t raised theirs. Doesn’t matter now £70 games are here to stay no matter who you game with. At least Xbox offer Gamepass which softens the blow somewhat.

It was poo when Sony did it and it’s poo that Xbox have followed. These poor, hard done by billion dollar companies need even more money from us while the cost of living is sky rocketing. Waiting for sales is the smart thing to do now, better than paying £70 to beta test the majority of titles while they patch new releases up anyway.

@HeeHo I’ve seen some of the textures in that game and they’re literally PS1 quality. Truly awful.

Don’t think I’ll bother with it, the Marvel burnout is real. I watched the ACG review and he did not like it, his criticisms seemed fair, but it’s had positive reviews almost everywhere.

@Rols I still don’t think it’s a problem, it is what it is. When the company paying millions of dollars for exclusive content then starts moaning that the competition may take that away and do the same, then it’s laughable. That’s all.

Stray was one of my biggest disappointments, it wasn’t bad but it was bang average.

On this topic I’ll never understand people abusing someone for a review like this it’s just sad and it happens way too much. Given time some of the more ‘controversial’ reviews end up being more accurate also. Not saying that’s the case here but it does happen.

I wouldn’t be surprised I thought Elden Ring was overrated. I didn’t finish it I got bored. Looking forward to GOW when I can pick it up cheaper.

I’ve been playing on PS5 and it can feel rough, screen tearing is an issue too. The game is great though and far from unplayable, I’m really enjoying it as I did the first and it’s a stunning looking game.
