I really enjoyed the game. Great graphics and the combat is fun imo. There was a few bugs when I played it, not sure if they’ve been sorted but I didn’t come across any game breaking ones and still had fun.

Worth playing if you like the looter shooter genre.

As much as I enjoyed Uncharted 4 and lost legacy I’ve never had the urge to play them again which is strange since I finished the first 3 a couple of times each.

Godfall, the Sony timed exclusive nobody talks about 🤣 I have mortal shell already, couldn’t get into it but that’s not bad for other people.

I started playing this last week and it’s really good. Lovely art and meaty combat, i like it. Can’t complain at a free update.

I’ve only ever got platinums when I really enjoy a game and there’s no tediousness to it. I find it a bit sad when people will play anything and everything just for platinums.

I agree with the article I don’t really care about them anymore, it’s a pointless digital trophy that ultimately means nothing.

Yes. The amount of Sony simps who actively defend them for it baffles my mind. Oh well.

No big lover of EA but they should just tell Fifa to shove it and EA should continue making football games under a different name. Good luck to FIFA finding a Dev with the money they want and the dev team ready to make games for them, it’s not as easy as they probably think.

I can’t stand FIFA they’re just another corrupt, greedy corporation who virtue signal while doing unethical business themselves.

Ratchet and Clank kinda came and went, it was pretty to look at and fun but nothing exceptional. I enjoyed Psychonauts 2 more but got a bit fed up of it towards the end. This year really hasn’t had any stand out games.

Out of the list I’d actually like to see Resident Evil 8 win, I haven’t played it myself but know a couple of my friends love that game and it was very well received as far as I’m aware.

But yeah some good games this year, but nothing exceptional imo. I don’t care what wins tbh.

Time to let go of this and just accept it’ll be exclusive. Sony have their exclusives, Microsoft have theirs. Nothing wrong with that.

There has been nothing exceptional this year, I honestly don’t know what I’d pick. There’s been good games but none have stood out. R+C kinda game and went as did Kena. I’m enjoying FH5 but wouldn’t say it’s GOTY quality, it’s very similar to 4.

The best game I’ve probably played this year is Metro Exodus with its free upgrade, but obviously it’s an older title.

@HMazzy111 it’s not bad luck it’s a poor product. You’re paying good money for those controllers they should work as advertised. Same with the Switch joycons.

It’s a good console. The quick load times are nice and the controller is great even though I don’t think it’s as revolutionary as most make out. The main problem for me isn’t the console it’s Sonys direction so far this gen, raising the price of gaming for everyone with their very steep price increases and charging for updates others have been providing for free. It’s not been a great year for the once ‘consumer friendly’ company of the PS4 gen in that regard.

@lindos there is no downside I said this ages ago when I played the game and my save corrupted and it reset my game to the beginning losing all progress. I gave the game one more chance then sold it before this update. I was told at the time ‘this is what the developer intended, it doesn’t need a save system’ even though the game was fundamentally broken without one.

@Ward_ting save scumming using the cloud isn’t new, trophy hunters use it when it suits them to get some platinums easier. It’s not something I’d do as I can’t be arsed and I don’t care about platinums enough but plenty of people do it.

I personally wouldn’t do this but if you buy the game and wanna cheat or scum it whatever. It’s a single player game it’s not like you’re affecting anybody else’s. The only person they’ll be fooling are themselves.

Guardians is good, we’ll deserved and no microtransactions, nice to see it doing well.

This approach has worked for Microsoft so it will for Sony. Laugh all you want about Xbox ‘having no games’ because they release on PC at the same time, Microsoft’s gaming revenue has shot up and Sony now want in on that too.

There’s still a place for consoles, I don’t worry about that. People forget that PC is the lowest spec for games to be played on, those with top end gaming rigs are the minority. Where I think there’ll be an issue is with Sonys pricing, I already won’t pay £70 for Sonys games, it’s a rip off and if they start coming to PC, 6 months to a year later for cheaper, questions need to be asked.

Glad I didn’t bother watching this live. Deaths Door is pretty great though, happy more will get to play it.

Crap month for me personally. No interest in VR or any of those other games really. Still, I’m still enjoying Hell Let Loose from last month, been a surprise for me as I don’t usually like online shooters, so whatever.

Hell Let Loose was a surprise. I actually really enjoy it although it’s not perfect and has a very steep learning curve for new players.

I have no interest in any of these projects. The Uncharted movie looks like a 14 year old cosplaying as Drake.

The models actually look like the GTA style artwork in each game, it looks weird to me.

As an Uncharted fan it looks awful. Holland just doesn’t come across as anything like Drake from the games, he looks like a kid doing Nathan Drake cosplay. I won’t bother watching this.

If you’re a patient person and can wait 1 or 2 years you can play PlayStation ‘exclusives’ on a PC going forward it seems. Great time to be a PC gamer. Personally I like ease of use of the consoles so stick to them but there’s no denying Sony Exclusives are becoming well… less exclusive.

A lot of Sony fans like to laugh at Xbox having no exclusives because they also release on PC, can’t really laugh at them anymore as Sony are doing the same, only with a slightly different strategy.

Haha go Dbrand. Yes their PR is different and some people don’t like it, I personally find it refreshing and fun. I have their original dark plates and they’re a great company to deal with, they’ve been going for years. I like these new plates too, think the design is nice.

@Tharsman I like the little inscription on the inside, nice touch. The plates are as good if not better quality than the original ones I took off. Glad I got them too.

I have these plates and they’re very very good, even happier I grabbed them when I could. Sony won’t be getting a penny off me for plates that’s for sure. I can’t believe people are cheering Sony for this 😂 people are crazy around here.

Origins. Mostly because of the setting, love Egyptian history.

A lot of work has gone into Crysis 2 and 3. I watch the DF video and the difference between these and the PS3/360 versions is pretty crazy and it’s also a super smooth 60fps on the new consoles. They still look good today. I’ve never been into Crysis, this collection seems like good value if you’re into it though.

One of the best games released last year. Can’t wait to continue Ichibans adventure. I liked the new direction.

@DrunkenEagle92 the music in 9 is incredible and it has some of the best character building in a FF game. 7 will probably always be my favourite because at the time I’d played nothing like it and it blew my mind, but 9 is phenomenal too.

7 is my favourite followed very very closely by 9. They haven’t aged all that well though.

This game doesn’t look great to me, especially after that comical trailer. Team Ninja are usually very good though so let’s see.

@Agramonte I’m waiting for Sable to be patched the performance isn’t good at all but once it is I’ll jump in, its art style is phenomenal.

I don’t think I’ll try this game even on Gamepass it doesn’t sound great.

I can think of much better ways to spend my time thanks. Ryan says some stupid things, but he’s just one cog in the Sony money making machine. Sony have raised the base price of gaming with their policies and that isn’t good for anyone. They have a nice nostalgic past, the future I’m looking less forward to on Sonys current trajectory.

@GamingFan4Lyf and FF16. The truth is it is no different. Sony can do no wrong to their most loyal fans though.

I’m still more disappointed they have a new studio full of talented people from high profile devs making a perfect dark game. It makes no sense to me.

Good review. Watched ACG’s review this morning, read this one, seems like my kinda game so I’ll give it a whirl once I’m finished with Lost in Random. Looking forward to it.
