Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Sifu?

Fenbops

I voted 8. I’ve loved my time with it upto the third boss. Sadly I’ve not had much time to spend on it recently. If the rest of the game is as good as it is up to now, I’d probably give it a 9. I think it’s a great title.

Re: Sifu Update 1.06 Out Now, Makes Lots of Small Changes

Fenbops

Nice. I got to the third boss yesterday and my arse was royally handed to me again so I took a break 😂 I managed to do the first level without dying though and then played through the second to lower my age for the 3rd. Still really enjoying it the combat is so fun and the 3rd level has some great visual moments.

Re: Sifu Updates to Include Difficulty Settings and Accessibility Options

Fenbops

I’ve only played it the last couple of days, I’m yet to beat the second boss. It’s tough but I like that challenge, it takes me out of my comfort zone and with practice I’m getting better. That’s what makes some games great imo as long as the challenge feels fair and in Sifu I feel it does.

It’s nice that less skilled players or those unwilling to learn will get to experience it I guess, I just wish some more people would leave their comfort zone and experience the game as intended.

Edit: second boss down. Ahhh the sweet smell of victory 😏

Re: Poll: Did You Buy Sifu on PS5, PS4?

Fenbops

I did indeed. Probably the only game I’ll pick up this month (Crazy I know). Only played a small amount so far, it seems good. Like playing a game version of The Raid. Gonna play it properly the weekend when I have more time.

Re: Sony Buys Ex-Halo, Destiny Developer Bungie for $3.6 Billion

Fenbops

Bungie have been a horrible Dev since releasing the first destiny game. Now you can blame Activision as much as you want but not much has changed since they broke free of those chains. They’ve exploited their players as much as possible and made some really questionable choices when it comes to Destiny DLC.

Great at making FPS games but a sh*tty anti consumer Dev.

Re: French Retailer Warns PS5 Players to Choose Console Carefully After Xbox's Activision Acquisition

Fenbops

@Medic_Alert excellent post everything you say is correct. Since the acquisition I’ve seen a lot ignorance and elitism over on this side, saying Casuals don’t matter. Everything you have just said highlights why they do matter. I’d say at the moment PlayStation is the console ‘casuals’ buy into just going by sales numbers alone. If Sony lose them, it’ll be massive damage to their revenue.

Re: Reaction: We Need to Talk About Tiny Tina on PS Plus

Fenbops

Plus is still value for money so I have no issues with plus whatever games go on each month. With Sony increasing their pricing since the launch of PS5, plus feels like the only part of PlayStation still offering really good value, even if they are now adding some questionable titles.

Re: Poll: Would You Still Buy PlayStation Consoles Without Activision Blizzard Games?

Fenbops

@BritneyfR_ee FF7 remake still isn’t on Xbox because of Sony money….. they both do it. I’ve said this before, neither MS or Sony are good/bad, they’re both the same. They do the same things, the only difference is MS have more cash to make a bigger splash and make bigger headlines. You can bet your house on it that if Sony had 70 billion to spare they’d do the same thing.

Re: Poll: Would You Still Buy PlayStation Consoles Without Activision Blizzard Games?

Fenbops

@UltimateOtaku91 that’s a pretty stupid take. You do realise the ‘casuals’ as you call them, far outnumber any other type of gamer combined. Sony have been so successful by tempting those casuals over with exclusive COD deals etc. If more casuals shift over to other systems eventually because of this deal, Sony sales could go down for their games too, because even ‘casuals’ can buy PlayStation exclusives believe it or not.

Re: Poll: What's the Best Uncharted Game?

Fenbops

Uncharted 2 without a doubt. Hell I even prefer 3 over 4.

4 was good but I didn’t like Sam as a character, it’s the most polished entry but only because it’s newer obviously. 2 and even 3 were just pure fun.

Re: Hands On: God of War PC Is a Great Way to Play a PS4 Classic

Fenbops

I think this approach is smarter than Xbox’s day one releases on both PC and Xbox. Sonys console keeps some of its integrity.

I think what annoys the PlayStation faithful at it’s core is that their beloved exclusives aren’t really exclusive anymore, they’ve gone the Microsoft approach, just in a slightly different direction. You can’t say Xbox has no games anymore when Sony are doing the same thing, porting their games to PC.

I don’t care either way, I like the ease of use and affordability consoles bring. It’ll always be my preferred way to play.
