The colour button prompts don’t make sense with the PS5 dual sense.

That's the scariest thing I have heard. So all games I have purchased digitally with my own hard cash could be gone if Sony PSN servers went down. This sounds like I never paid for the games and now own but instead I am leasing them.

So burn PlayStation by being bought from Microsoft and announce we will never see Elder Scrolls 6. However we want you to buy our older game? I would get special edition while on sale since never played it and it looks good, however my stance about the situation holds me back.

So what’s the difference between the PS5 version and the PS4? Better loading? Resolution and LOD bump? Haptics? I cannot seem any article outlying the actual difference.

Hopefully it's not like a Game-pass thing similar to Xbox. Reason being for those that can only afford to stick to the plan that's available now, we will see the free monthly games get even worse, and they would do it on purpose to provide incentive to pay more for the game-pass feature.

What's shocking is in Australia PS Now is still not available. Meanwhile I'm on a 250Mbs internet so there excuse about internet being too slow in Australia is null and void.

If they have no affiliation with Kojima, I will give them credit for using these methods to procure more interest in their game. It's a sneaky way to better advertise your product.

In other words, lazy. They have not gone to the effort of removing duplicate assets and recoding the game and using Kraken Compression.

Yes I have that and it does play well and I do feel the difference through the controller. I'm eager to see a new innovative golf game that's all.

Every bunker in PGA2k21 acts like it's wet sand, the ball could flop into the bunker and still sit perfect on top just like it's wet sand.

I am definitely asking too much and I realize that would be difficult to program to have a ball actually lie IN the sand but oh well.

Seriously Ubisoft? Make a trophy that doesn't come as a standard play? I shouldn't have to miss out on a trophy because it's obscure, it's almost like I have to research all the trophies prior to starting the game.

Is that a prerendered picture or what it will actually look like in game? I would like realistic grass and divot physics and real bunkers with true sand. Every golf game in the past there is no sand flying when you take a bunker shot. Also when it rains there should be puddles and if your ball lands in this, there is mud and water that sprays when you hit the ball. I'm probably being too unrealistic but this level of detail would make a difference.
Right now all of them feel like you are just hitting the ball on a perfect surface.

9/10 for me. Lost a point in the fact there was still repetitive things here and there for example hostages randomly throughout the map with the same thank you sentence each time.

Been using the hint system for Sackboy and now this game. Unfortunately I have fallen down the rabbit hole in the sense as soon as I go to a new level I check out all the hints straight away, thus eliminate my need to look for them myself. I used to only look at hints only if I'm actually stuck in a game, now it's at every level/stage.

Had a couple of issues like I pin it, and couldn't figure out how to unpin it though, and there is no hint for doing that.

TBH was PC gamer, and only switched to console for the first time on PS4 Pro release. So I would say yeah pretty new to the console gaming world. Happy I went to the playstation side since their exclusives have been phenomenal.

I can confuse myself sometimes. I was wondering why they are still making PS4 versions of games, but I realised afterwards the reason they are still probably making the PS4 versions is because noone can actually purchase the PS5's, since stock is so low.
Our retailers in Australia don't even have the PS5 as listed for purchase now, such as JBHifi, EB Games etc.

Why don't these companies start forgetting the PS4 which is now a retro console and focus on making better games for this generation. The PS4 is now holding back the PS5.

wow, I just went to a few retailers online in Australia and they are not even selling the PS5 now. Has the PS5 been discontinued? If there is no stock then no wonder companies are still making retro versions of games.

Using the same TV Sony 900h, looking forward to VRR suport on this, overall been pretty impressed with the TV. Tried the game on 120 mode with fidelity and I was very impressed with it.

I'm hoping they add the 120 mode with fidelity at 40fps similar to Ratchet & Clank. Tried this mode last night and it was sweet. Here's hoping that's going to be the norm with future games, and no more 30fps with all graphics features enabled.

Is that because Japanese is so demanding? In reality it doesn't make much sense that.

Game would benefit greatly with ray traced lighting, but I guess it's just going to be another lazy PS5 upgrade with minimal changes, similar to Jedi Fallen Order.

Better be a free upgrade.
Picked this up on sale for the PS5 not long ago. They would have known this was happening, on purchase they should have a system that pops up saying "We notice you are on PS5, there is a PS5 version of this product in the pipeline, would you still like to purchase this PS4 version today?"

So which expansion SSD will they provide for beta testing? I'm all for a free expansion if it means signing up to beta test it.

Not fussed, it is in fact only hurting themselves, since their will be less sales. 7.8mill PS5's out in the world, and say an average of 1.5Mill of these would have purchased these games, then that's 1.5Mill x average price of $100, so it's really Zenimax loss, not the gamers.

Then again what's the difference with Ratchet and Clank, Spiderman, God of War? Nothing, these won't show on Xbox so technically there is no difference.

Which one is the first DLC?

These devs have put to shame the Jedi Fallen Order PS5 version. This shows that the devs at Respawn are just too lazy and couldn't care.
Picked this up on sale when I heard about the upgrade, I'm seriously running out of space on the PS5 now, come on Sony where's that promised expansion?

Nope still stuck on Beowulf quest Prey in the High Hall where Wulfhilda just stands there and you cannot complete, even through they state they fixed it. Time to uninstall and play games that work.

Now I can reinstall and start playing again, since my character was stuck on one of the quests. Although my PS5 is really starting to fill up now, so many great games so little time.

Oh well, the only people that lose out is Bethesda since they won’t see my money. It’s their loss not mine.

I stopped playing and deleted when I ran into a bug which stopped the quest I was on from continuing. This is when I realised I could be playing games that have far better and smarter developers that know how to program. It’s unacceptable these days for games to be in these states months past. Their problem is they try to get more large and ambitious obviously for their own good.

Looks fantastic, although going to be nitpicky. Clipping issues, they need to do something about her hair, clipping in shoulders/body and bow. Make the hair with collision? Footprints, sand seems static, no footprints behind her or enemies. Doesn't look like there is raytracing. It is appearing the PS4 is holding this game back from it's true potential on the PS5.

Ha, they cannot even get a 60fps patch for PS5 on this game, let alone do a PC release

Have a PS5, should I get Last Of Us Part 2? Enjoyed the 1st one greatly. Just worried that I buy it but then they will release a PS5 version at additional cost. After all the devs of the game said more surprises to come when they released the 60fps patch.
I have noticed Sony first party games hold their value longer, $42.97 for this AUS, and Ghost of Tsunami $56.97AUS on this sale. A lot for old PS4 games. Although that's one disadvantage of buying the digital only PS5 version .

Free? Wow, I will now eat my words that I said from a previous article, was assuming it was going to cost and was saying they should release as free if you own both games.

Wish there was a way for the Sony store to recognize that you own both Sackboy and Returnal and you receive this at no charge.

If it's not a free upgrade then I will hold off. Bought it on PS3, then bought it on PS4, certainly not going to give Rockstar more money just to have it on PS5.

Will this be 60fps with ray tracing similar to how to Insomniac did the Spiderman games? Or are we talking Ubisoft?

This makes games like Assassin Creed Valhalla and Marvel Avengers look very unoptimised for the PS5. I noticed there are 2x modes under visual in the PS5 version of Subnautica although I searched and couldn't find what they do. Framerate mode and Quality mode. Is Framerate mode 60fps with no ray tracing etc, and Quality mode is 30fps with ray tracing and all visual features? I couldn't see much difference.

Wow something free from EA? Just picked it up while on sale, won’t play it until the PS5 version is released. I’ve done this with The Witcher 3 and Metro Exodus too. Though I am wondering how the free PS5 version works? Does the system see you have the ps4 version and just say the ps5 version is free on the storefront?

Hopefully they fix the missing horse sounds. Otherwise I will just delete this game and move on, despite having the gold edition with future DLC included.

When they cannot even fix horses having no sound when riding, I have lost faith in this DLC. I'm contemplating deleting the game since it's taking up 60+GB of PS5 necessary space. I know PS5 now allows me to transfer to external HDD, but it's quicker for me on my internet plan to just redownload.

Hopefully Frostbite makes a difference if they use it to it's full effects, and now there is competition between EA and 2k it might work out better for us consumers.

I just want a proper next gen golf game, one where there is NO static trees but realistic looking and moving trees, grass, proper divots, proper sand in bunkers, and much better crowds. PGA Tour2k21 has every sand bunker as wet bunkers, in that the ball constantly sits on top and never digs into the sand.

Does this mean you can delete the massive PS4 version, and redownload the PS5 version? Or it just the pS4 version with upgrades if it detects it's a PS5? Did they apply Oodle Kraken to the PS5 version?

Even when they release the PS5 version (if they do), I will still wait a while before purchase. I have lost my trust in this company.

There are some difficult spots. My partner struggled on one boss fight because her character was responsible for more precise shooting. She got so frustated, so we just swapped controllers so I played the female character for that area since she had the harder role. Got through that spot this way, then continued on.

Yay my village has nice new sculptures and decorations, plus I spent some time finding easter egg baskets. The festive was noisy with dancing and music, thus my trusty viking warrior needed some timeout and quiet time. How? Simple she just jumped on her horse and visited the countryside, utter silence was stricken upon her. She couldn't even hear her horse making a sound. Total tranquility.

Ubisoft - have you lost your bug fix priority board in the office (is it missing a checkpoint marker similar to the latest fire pit quest?) Fix decorations etc but nothing major like horse sounds?
