Once devs start using the Oodle compression it might be better. Don't know why COD doesn't use this, guess the devs are lazy. If done well most games will use between 40-70GB

No raytracing, barely any pedestrian life in the city, aliasing, the faces look terrible. (I think after playing Miles Morales and Demons Souls my graphic snobbery has hit an all time high)
I will wait for the PS5 version, and expect facial models to be as good as Spiderman Miles Morales, with raytracing and heaps of pedestrians. This is a title they really should of just focused on PS5, Xbox Series X, PC

In the Game Library, Installed should be the first category, then Your Collection.

Wish Sony would say something about if it's now safe to use an external and rest mode. Give the world some info, it's not bad PR to just say "We are aware of a possible issue with rest mode etc, please avoid this while our engineers are working on a fix"

Unfortunately you can't put PS5 games on a external even as a backup. Only PS4 games can be put on the external. It's like a miss on Sony with this. My PS5 is already filling up with PS5 games and it's only just launched.
Picked up the Samsung T5 1TB SSD and it's very fast with loading a PS4 game on the PS5 though.

Probably cause they are a cheap set of earbuds ($20) just to tye me over. When I mean delay of 3D Pulse, I meant shipping delay sorry, not audio delay. In Australia so all accessories other then the controller and remote are due on the 3rd December

What's funny is chances are high they won't return it for a swap to the correct version, but if it was the other way round where they ordered the disc version and only got the digital in the box, they would be right at their doorstep demanding a swap out.
Warranty is going to be fun for them, if it fails they will take it back and the shop will say sorry you bought the digital on the receipt, this is incorrect model for warranty.

And if they are fake pics and staged, they don't realize possible implications it can cause. Sony management could head to factory and pull all workers into meetings and discipline them. If fake they better not cause any warehouse workers being fired for fake news.

Due to the delay of my new 3D Pulse Headphones, I am currently just using earbuds. However I am not noticing much overhead sounds, really just left and right. Would this just be because of the earbuds? Also not real certain about the 3D audio adjustments in the settings.

They should've released images and videos of the changes much sooner. Insomniac could've created even just a section of gameplay with a side by side comparison.
Might have eased tensions a bit regarding the extra cost. When things are behind closed doors for too long people get edgy and that's when rumours abound.

Shame, I was actually looking at getting this on the PS5. But I don't want awkward controls. Yet on the live streaming by the devs they made it look so easy on a Xbox controller.

Plus Saturday and Sunday, since I am giving my partner my PS4 Pro I have been given the allowance of acting like a kid again for the entire 4x days locked away doing nothing but, eating, drinking, and playing the PS5. No chores, just 4x days of laziness. I'm sure there is going to be a catch and I will only find out what the catch is afterwards.

Another thing to show that they more than likely have rushed all this to compete with the timeframe of Microsoft. Hence one reason why the reveal of the UI was left till really late.
Although I have also heard RUMOURS that the download speeds are much faster on the PS5, like 5-10x faster.

Is there a comparison of the original remastered? Now that embargo has lifted.

Stopped playing it on PS4. I got sick of sitting around waiting on loading screens.

Also HDMI 2.1 is useless at the moment. Bought the Sony X900H since it was advertised as Made for PS5. Advertised at 120fps/4k but Sony cannot get it working properly with the latest firmware and pulled the firmware. Also waiting on the promises VRR and ALLM.
They only have a week to go before PS5 launches so they better get my new Sony TV 100% with all features promised in it or fair consumer trade will be notified since it is false advertising since it won't be fully PS5 ready at launch.

I only just received an expensive HDMI 2.1 cable as a gift. Guess I can now sell that on ebay. Although what's with those boxes at each end of the sony cable?

Sounds like all Sony games will make use of the feature. It remains to be seen if 3rd party games will do it though since they have to work on multiple versions of the game for PC and Xbox as well.

For those that need to turn off haptic feedback and adaptive triggers is a plus. That's what is going to make this console even more great. Just hope a lot of games use the features though.

Not dissapointed. Mainly because understand all the issues the pandemic has caused globally. And unfortunately until there is a vaccine the issues throughout will remain.
Also the fact there will be plenty to play anyway. Bring on Demon Souls and Spiderman and Sackboy
I am not going to be buying as many games next gen mainly due to the price as well as the storage space. I used to buy more games than I can finish (my PS4 catalogue is nasty with 90% of games unfinished) but that will change come PS5 to finish 3-4 games first before buying anymore.

It's definitely a better games launch than the PS4 was. However PS4 had a better and more information prior to release. But those days of massive events have gone forever in the world now that COVID is now here.

They look great and must suit the PS5 system well.

The game is looking fantastic and I think too over ambitious for the current gen consoles. Think they bit off more than they can chew. Should focus on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X first and release the proper version. Then release the downgraded PS4 and Xbox One versions

And yet Australia will only see the Dualsense and Media Remote on launch, and will have to wait till Dec 3rd for the other accessories. Such a shipping failure on Sony.

Looking at this, although besides Bloodborne never played any of the Souls games. No difficulty sliders, I am afraid it might be just too hard. Then again if I get smashed too much, I can always switch to Astros Playroom for some cooldown.

Yeah just liked the look of the white logo prompts in Last of Us Part 2, so I thought that would become the standard.

Been seeing previews, and these developers need to stop putting the colored icons such as x, square, triangle, and circle in their games. There is no colored icons on the controller anymore. Spiderman devs are just being lazy since they are releasing on PS4 and PS5 so probably just figured that will do.

Episode 2 - Lead Assassin faces high climb just to unlock and see where all unlockables are.
Episode 3 - Title "Whistle", plot Assassin finds out that by whistling in a bush every enemy is stupid enough to come and investigate, and his/her partner doesn't even realize despite staring at the event.
Episode 9 - Assassin is up against enemies that take multiple hits to down.
Final credits: Purchase Final Episode 10 DLC today, or included in the Season Pass.

Hope they don't get stored on the limited space SSD, and only in the cloud. Storage will get full just with trophy videos

In reality this isn't too bad, at least they care about their product (The benefit of being independent from publishers like 2K, EA, Ubisoft). If they were owned by EA they would've been forced to release no matter what bugs are still afoot.

Samsung is releasing a 2TB version at end of year. I will just wait to see if it becomes officially certified by Sony and get that. Might be expensive but should last. And if Sony release a PS5 Pro I can just remove this and put it into the next console.
And after that just move it into the PC. I consider this a long term item.

It's good news. I couldn't justify $125 for this game anyway. Although it kind of does interest me, except for the price structure it was.

So with these apps on it, is it confirmed there is Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision? Also it will automatically go out of game mode when launching media apps back to normal viewing and so forth? Too much hush hush so I should be expecting this is all the case.
Also with a 4k Bluray drive, it's to be expected.

I'm just surprised the press still hasn't got their hands on the console. Xbox is a step ahead with this and even lifted the embargo for some youtube people.
I feel this launch is very hush hush compared to previous gens.
