Well the world looks like it's war ravaged with limited resources. Food being scarce etc, therefore I will just let the old man pass away. Medicine is better for the younger ones in order to create a new better world.
I still cannot get why HDR is not incorporated in this title. They say because it's a small team that worked on it. Would have been a joy to see HDR in this.
Gave it another go but in PSVR. Wow very impressive. Though you can tell the lack of quality in the PSVR version, sure hope they release a PS4 Pro patch for PSVR. I tried Permadeath in PSVR, but I didn't last long at all, I was too busy gazing at everything and had forgotten to charge my hazard unit. I got burnt to a crisp.
I've been interested in jumping into this series. But it's confusing as to which order. I imagine Yakuza O first, but where is Yakuza 1 and 2? What is Yakuza Kiwami in the timeline? Or is Kiwami a separate story?
Time to dust off the PSVR and reboot this game. Although how is walking around a planet in VR? What have they done to reduce motion sickness? I am not a fan of teleportation because it reduces the feeling of being there somewhat? Does the borders of the screen fade similar to Blood and Truth when your walking? I am hoping a new review will come just for the PSVR part. It's fantastic that the developers have worked so hard on improving the game despite it being released badly.
@Tasuki Here in Australia. Everything is super expensive. Entertainment, living expenses etc are through the roof. Wage growth hasn't increased but living costs has, soon we will be heading into a recession if something isn't changed. New release games here digital are about the same cost (sometimes dearer) as retail disc versions.
I have done a lot of digital purchases, but one thing I cannot work out. Why the same price? There is no disc or casing so it should be cheaper. It's not just games, car registrations are now paperless/stickerless and all digital, but the same cost. More and more things are becoming paperless and digital however the companies are not passing the savings.
I'm really scratching my head as to it having no HDR support. I thought HDR was becoming a standard, especially with first part games. It would look fantastic on 4k screen with HDR.
Wondering if Moss is worth it? I have heard that it's very short? Worth the dollars then? I enjoyed AstroBot and I am looking for the next thing similar.
I just want to know if i purchase game A for PS4, then a few months later PS5 arrives, do I receive a free update to the PS5 version or do I have to pay a cost for a PS5 version of the same game. All I should be able to do is deathorise the PS4 and install on PS5 and I get the new PS5 version.
Though until it's been mentioned by a reliable source I will hold off on many cross gen titles next year such as this and Cyberpunk. Might even hold off on Death Stranding since rumours are there will be a PS5 version.
A free patch should be all that is needed though, just to unlock/download certain attributes and assets.
Sony will need to clarify otherwise it will hurt software sales next year. If they keep quiet I can only assume I would be required to repurchase the entire PS5 version of the games
So does this mean if I purchase this or Cyberpunk on PS4 and then purchase the PS5 afterwards, the games will provide a free update with ray tracing and all next gen features? So the features will be in the game on PS4, just locked? There should be no additional charge for the game since you already purchased it.
In Australia we still don't have PS Now. Highly unlikely we will ever get streaming here. Besides for anyone currently using PS Now, is it good value? Many games take me months to complete due to other commitments, so in that sense purchasing a game might make more sense.

Re: Poll: Is PS Now's Price Drop Tempting You to Subscribe?
Sony haven't even introduced this to Australia, so my view on it all is "nehhh"
Love to know Sony's reasoning.
Re: Watch Ellie Grow Up in New Time Lapse Promo for The Last of Us 2
She kind of looks like a psychotic killer near the end. One who has just given up on humanity and is over all the crap.
It's great but freaky.

Re: Yakuza Remastered Collection Confirmed, Yakuza 3 Is Out Today on PS4
@ShogunRok Thank you so much. I'll pickup Yakuza O and play that first this weekend. Also it's fairly cheap if per chance I'm not sold on the series.

Re: No Man's Sky Beyond Is Available to Download Now on PS4
11GB....wow. That's nearly the size of the entire game, I think the entire game is approx. 14GB.

Looking especially forward to the scene in the series where Roach gets stuck on a wall or some other obstacle.

They are going to release a free patch on launch of PS5 anyway to unlock ray tracing and extra features such as native 4k etc.

Re: Talking Point: Should Sony Introduce a Game Pass Subscription of Its Own?
Australia is still waiting on PS Now to arrive. So I cannot see them introducing a subscription service like MS here.
