My portal updated before, in Australia but cannot see any option to stream. If streaming is not in because I am in Australia, I will be cancelling Plus since it does expire in a week.

60fps and PS5 Pro support with proper HDR and not the HDR mess the used. Probably wont be a free upgrade but hope they at least only charge $10 or so if you own PS4 version. Unfortunately it’s Rockstar so they will most likely charge full price. If so please vote with your wallet.

That will teach them for trying to charge me full price for an upgrade to the PS5 version in which I already had the PS4 version through PS Plus when purchasing a PS5.

The Indiana Jones premium edition at number one spot, this is why companies can charge such high prices. People complain but still just purchase anyway.
Besides the Premium will drop in price 2x days after release, since there is no early access benefit afterwards.
I really want the Indiana Jones game, but will possibly just wait for a sale. It's not like I don't have anything else to play, my backlog is getting rather full.

Looks good, had a look at store. Games are just overall getting so downright expensive though. Premium with the addon is $170AUS. It must be a pretty decent addon they are making if its worth around $40-$50 AUS. Weird they are putting Temple of Doom outfit in as Premium DLC, when in fact Dr Jones would have had that outfit prior to this game. It should have just been included regardless to keep with this timeline.

Was keen until I saw it will be for PS4 as well. This means graphics etc will be not as good as it could have been since it’s catering to old technology. It’s time to leave that console alone and focus forward not backwards.

Waiting on a response from Sony. Since I pay for PS Plus, the service was down therefore compensation is required. If nothing occurs I will forward to ACCC. We have a funny setup here where things happen. Recently Telstra got fined 3million or so because their phones went down for just under a hour.

Tried the game just could not get into it. BioWare is a has been and I will from here on avoid their rubbish. Problem is things like Baldurs Gate 3 has spoilt me with story and characters and I expect all things to be at that level.

If you do it with the pricing then its to be expected to have the same quality, polish, voice acting, motion capture as Rockstar games, plus barely any bugs. I would not expect games made with the same quality as Jedi Survivor to be even near that price point.

I'll start believing it all when I see the Chinese Military fighting wearing Stellar Blade Eve's apparel and weapons.
Thats' the reason they buy the game companies, so they can take those ideas and adapt them to their military afterall.

Another chance for Bethesda to sell Horse Armour DLC.
Shame Morrowind and all its DLCs are not being done. Oblivion was okay, just got tired of the gates and Daedric, it was very rinse and repeat. Oh look another Oblivion gate has opened in which I have to go in and fight more Daedra. Although I vaguely remember the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood missions being the standout.

I think everyone forgets the very first implementation of DLSS and the first amount of games to support it, and the issues that arose at the time with some games.
I am happy with the Pro, I am not once experiencing stutters and seeing better frames with majority of games, even unpatched ones, plus the TV does a great job upscaling as well. I don't sit super close so really cannot see super fine details mind you. More storage, better Wi-Fi, slightly better frames = a win in my eyes. Give it 12 months and all these issues hopefully will be sorted. PSSR can be resolved most likely by firmware and game updates.

Only a smart move if there are no bugs or major issues. Otherwise its shooting yourself in the foot.

Naughty Dog, Insomniac, GT7 devs, No Mans Sky Devs - they all did it right. That's because they actually care about their games as developers and are proud of it. Other devs don't care less about their stuff, all it is to them is money money money. Ubisoft and EA, unless there is $$$$$ just do whatever.
I cannot understand reading comments blaming the PS5 Pro and not the devs, this is software coding which the game devs are responsible for.

So now if a teen gets bullied or something, he/she won't seek help because technically they are not supposed to be using it anyway. So now if a teen is using social media when they are not supposed to, like they got through a loophole as an example, anything can be done to them online and in theory its that teen breaking the law. The court will just say to that Paedophile "its all good, he/she the victim wasn't supposed to be on it anyway"
Not certain if I'm reading all this new law correctly, but that's how I assume it will be. It will stop teens asking for help since they would be scared to get in trouble for still using the system.

Just stocked up on SW Outlaws, Assassin Creed Mirage, Dying Light 2, Dead Island 2 and The Crew Motorfest. Simply because I like to experience these now on the PS5 Pro, and I was eagerly awaiting a sale on them. Outlaws especially since not worth the full price they were asking. With these plus my backlog I think this is it now until next years Black Friday sale.

Looks good, tried it and it runs smooth at 4k/60. Well done. I know its probably my setup but in this game, plus many other game but the blacks are not black but grey. Is that because I don't have OLED? Using the Sony X90H. Running in game mode, or is that just because I did not set the HDR right?

Even if they did add PC ray tracing in they would have stuffed it up anyway. Many devs are stuffing up patches such as games like Jedi Survivor and Silent Hill2. Cyberpunk would have just been added to the fail list anyway.

Hear you, all this talk about cloud streaming and never comes to Australia. Then again the Sony servers in Australia sometimes struggle as it is with downloading games.
This would be handy since then my wife could play the PS5 local while I am playing on the portal but using cloud streaming.
They increase our prices but don't upgrade the services. Like a lot of things here now not just gaming

Hear you. Its not the hardware at fault, its mostly the devs. I cannot understand why hardware gets the blame when its always software. This game always had issues. Guess its easier for people to have a poke at Sony than the actual creators of the games.

Don't get how they were shot down, they are there on a rescue mission, Aliens cannot use lauchers. And if people are tuck there amongst Aliens why shoot down your chance of hope?
I will look at this provided it runs at 90hz and there is no reprojection.

Been happy with it however there are 2x games which dissapointed me. Hogwarts and Alan Wake 2. Pretty bad game coding where they still can only run at 30fps with RayTracing. Despite PS5 Pro advertising itself as much faster RayTracing, its simply not true in that department. Looks great just not playable.

Bought Silent Hill 2 because it said PS5 Pro Enhanced. I was fighting with Sony for a refund and they said they cannot because I already downloaded and started the game. Had to throw ACCC at them for false advertising. Now got my money back. Bunch of liars they are. If ACCC find out Sony is advertising more games with false pretences they could face mass fines

And still no fix for the sound with Dolby Atmos configured in the settings of the console. With Dolby Atmos on the sound is just a single speaker channel. You have to have it on PCM or use headphones. Still a great game otherwise.
Played it through on story mode, now replaying on normal and it totally changes the combat. Now the combat really hurts.

Its good to know which setting would be best played, so the articles are fine. The PS5 Pro will keep me going till the PS6, I've been happy with it and been impressed with the games such as Last Of Us and Spiderman etc. I tried Hogwarts and sure the extra Ray Tracing looks nice but I found Performance is best and it looks better than before. I always preferred Performance in games and now most patched games I can do the Performance with great quality. Only main compromise is ray tracing really which is no biggie since I barely stop my characters to just stand there looking at details.
Besides everyone hating on it will change their tune once GTA6 comes out.

The story in Season 2 will be everyone will leave a vault and accidently leave him there all alone, in which marauders will try to enter and be done by his traps etc

I bit the bullet, didn't really pay much for it with my old PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 traded in. Figured this will last me till PS6 anyway and even then I will just trade it in.
Can't get a disc drive anywhere (at normal price), and Sony has released a list of all games with PS5 Pro Enhanced on launch. What Sony should have done is had a PS5 Pro sale on there store with all those games on the list on sale. A lot of those games have been on sale before so there would have been no reason not to do this. Just a missed opportunity by Sony.

I see in the image 30x have been sold. This is the problem, people still buy at ridiculous prices. They complain but don't actually boycott. Don't buy anything like this on Ebay or any marketplace, no matter the price, let them all drown in their stock which they can't sell. I want to see scalpers go into bankruptcy for not being able to sell anything.

I am really starting to think the intial release of a PS6 is in fact just a small upgrade because they have to and then the PS6 Pro will be realistically the true next console. This pattern they are doing is making it look this way in my mind. PS5 was most likely released only because Microsoft was releasing a new console.

Exactly like they said the game can only run on PS5 due to the instant portal gameplay.....and then it came to PC. Never fall for the hype.

Remember to not buy the PS6 since they will have this dialed back due to already having a PS6 Pro in the works. So by the sound of it the Pro versions of consoles will be the real new console. And the standard is just a small upgrade for people that can’t wait.

Should have had the advertisement with:- No mortgage? No children? Earning a decent income? Then the best time to buy a PS5 is now. Or spoil yourself with the PS5 Pro!!

Can afford it but don't know if I should pay more and keep the PS5 or trade it in. I would keep the PS5 if I knew that it can be used at the same time with my credentials, that way my wife can play that in the other room with all the games I own and I will be able to play the same games on my same account at the same time on the PS5 Pro. I have tried searching for this info with no luck.
I found you can use the same account on PS4 and PS5 but not on 2x PS5s. But technically PS5 Pro is not a PS5 but a different console altogether, its PS5 "Pro"

Looks good except that they still haven't fixed the campfire issue. Come back days later in the middle of nowhere and that same campfire is burning and the logs are not crumbling to ash like what would happen for real. Rockstar would have paid attention to that detail by having like NPC's replenishing these fires. Just being nitpicky, otherwise its a good remaster and its good to bring it on par with Forbidden West.

Late game performance issues? We don’t know how to fix that so you just buy more horsepower and it’s fixed. Welcome to PS5 Pro.

I rarely play the PS Plus games, I mainly use it for Cloud SaveGame storage. Can someone tell me if I was to ditch the service, is there another way to backup your savegames?

Mircosoft and Sony are really heading this way with closures. Didn't surprise me with the new pricing structure of games, it was bound to happen eventually. I buy less new release games now and wait for sales, whereas previously I jumped on board day 1. I imagine there are a lot of gamers in the same situation. That's what happens when games are an additional $20+ on day one, plus consoles are a lot more than what the PS4 and XBox One was. Plus the economy downturn and inflation plays a massive role in all this too, where consumers are spending less.

Oh well see what happens.....but don't get your hopes up people. Sony better really put their heads down and think of something good. I shouldn't expect pricing to go up with Sony products and games just because of their failures, that would be even worse if they make consumers pay for their mistakes.

Why couldn't they have just made it free for PS Plus and added things like Season Passes etc for some people that choose then to pay for things like that? Sony also tried that Predator game which didn't become real successful. Don't they learn lessons and just stick to what they are good at....single player games with strong narratives.

If someone is able to work from home and has a chronic illness then its pretty harsh they are being forced to the office, especially if their productivity is the same. For these workers, do what they say and go to the office even if you have COVID or something spreadable, just to teach Activision a lesson.

Have yet to pickup AW2 and am looking forward to playing it. However cannot afford a PS5 Pro, and now found that their marketing states PS5 Pro is the way to play AW2, I will again need to hold off on the game until I can get a PS5 Pro.
PS5 Pro is going to save me money now, since every game that is released that emphasises PS5 Pro, I know not to waste money on the base PS5 version.

Gaming is just getting worse each year. Price increases on games and hardware, Ultimate editions, gold editions with Season Passes. Battle Passes, buggy game at launch. And now this. Gaming is definitely becoming a luxury now.
And the biggest issue is people keep buying. Even some gamer complaining about this audio thing will just submit anyway.
Its like streaming services, I have friends whom are complaining about the prices but when asked if they canceled the answer was no.

I'm just surprised that the PS5 is such an utter disaster and underperformed piece of hardware that Sony made. They hyped it up at the time to be so powerful. Also there have been not many PS5 only games in its lifespan (Even the limited PS5 games are unable to run at Ultra quality without sacrifices), its obvious the hardware is not what Sony made it out to be, and the PS5 Pro is what Sony should have done from the onset and they know this. Paying $800AUS for a PS5 console that cannot even run a game at quality 60fps is just embarrassing, no wonder Sony is fixing this with a PS5 Pro. And even then I heard Alan Wake with RT will still be only 30fps on PS5 Pro, what a joke.

I don't mind the Early Access, because Early Access means anyone with it can post true Youtube videos of the game experience without being withheld by the publisher. So I scour Youtube in those short days of Early Access seeing true gameplay and what he/she truly thinks of it. Did that with Outlaws, saw a lot of people playing with all the bugs and held off spending my money, however I was keen on it prior to that early access timeframe. So Ubisoft doing Early Access actually lost a customer by doing it.

So Early Access is good for me just to see all the guinea pigs playing first to get my thoughts on spending $$$

Just be careful if you purchase a Season Pass DLC with physical. I once purchased AC Valhalla physical on release because it was cheaper than digital. Was enjoying it and ended up purchasing the Season Pass. Some time later finally finished the main campaign and sold it back to the store for a new game. Forgot I bought the Season Pass, not long after the 1st DLC came out and it was useless since I couldn't play it.
Since then if I buy physical I don't look at any DLC for it.

People complain about DLC in that everything should be included in the game you purchase especially with the costs of the game. Now people complain about no DLC.
