I’m so glad I bought the PS5 Pro for the original launch price. Afterwards this seems like a good deal that will keep me going for years to come.

The support is indeed excellent, but I’ve fallen in a vacuum with the game. The higher licenses and races are way too hard for me and the easier stuff isn’t interesting anymore. The weekly challenges are just way too easy, I did all the menus a long time ago, I’ve collected all cars except the 20 mln ones and grinding for credits feels like a chore.

Doesn’t matter to me, the previous prices were already too high to even consider subscribing. It’s just not worth the money in its current state, after a brief strong start years ago.

As mentioned above: these prices at Amazon don’t feel as a sale at all.

@IOI Yikes, there are most of the things (together with it being too easy obviously) I’m afraid of. Returnal is in my top 5 games of all time but somehow the things I’ve heard/seen about Saros feel off.

Pushsquare naming it the best Housemarque game doesn’t help either, their reviews often tell the opposite story 😅

@Almost_Ghostly What’s wrong about that? A game is more than gameplay alone. The gameplay could have improved but the magic might have gone?

I think the most important question is missing here: is Saros too easy compared to Returnal? I’d love to see the results on that. It’s the only thing that keeps me from buying it yet, after I had the most fulfilling platinum of my life with Returnal.

Bad month. Soccer games most certainly don't "appeal to everyone". Nine Sols sounds promising, but is 1,5 years old so it will be easy to grab it on a sale making it yours forever.

@KingPev Nice! I’d see that as a bonus. If it’s not my thing it’s okay as well and I’ll just free up some backlog.

I took a few weeks off faming after my 150+ hours Elden Ring run and returned to my backlog now. First trying out Forspoken for a few hours, which I bought for € 9 and probably won’t be my thing.

If it won’t work out I’ll shift gears to Control.

@Lup Sounds good, but for my RE7 and RE8 are almost the opposite of each other, so I find it hard to imagine what this will look like. Is it the pure horror of RE7 or the action style of RE8?

Jeez come on… I know we all really like PlayStation, but PS Plus is just a lousy, overpaid platform. They released it with some recent AAA games back then and since then it went downhill for the audience they seemed to target.

For the people that own a console with disc drive the math just doesn’t add up, unless you’re really into indie games. It’s so much cheaper to just buy, play and resell the games you really want to play. Plus, you’re playing them one or two years before they’re finally on the platform.

Terrible month once again. It just doesn’t do justice to the high prices.

This might be totally up my alley, definitely going to check this out!

@DrVenture69 Thanks! It seems like this may not be my game at all. I like exploring every inch of a map, playing with my builds etc. Not losing progress because I clicked one wrong button.

@DrVenture69 What’s the reason Sekiro isn’t for you? I’ve been thinking about that game for a long while after beating Elden Ring, Demon’s Souls remake and Lies of P. I’m afraid it’s just too difficult though, since you can’t buff your character if you’re stuck on a boss?

Painful to see how little is left of Extra, which once released with games such as Returnal and Demon’s Souls remake. There are hardly (or none?) recent AAA games on there anymore. It’s so much cheaper now to just buy the games you want to play and sell them afterwards.

Ah yes, this is giving me huge NieR: Automata vibes. Can’t wait to play!

I hate it when games are made into movies, but at least they hired one of the best directors around. Garland only made 9/10 movies so far, so my hopes are up.

One thing I always wondered, why are so little Pushsquare writers contributing to this item? You have a lot more than three editors right and they’re all addicted to gaming I assume?

Platinuming Elden Ring + DLC was quite an investment, so just doing some GT7 races currently. Perhaps I’ll start up Forspoken this week. Pretty sure it won’t be my game though but it’s been sitting in my backlog for too long now.

Sounds great! That’s the only complaint I had about Starfield on the Series X: the cheap clickclack controller took some of the magic away.

I never had a problem with this on my base PS5, let alone on my PS5 Pro nowadays. I don’t think I’ll ever fill more than half of the internal storage. Having 3 to 4 games installed is more than enough.

It’s a lot, but I’d buy it in the blink of an eye. Even if I have to save for it for a few months it’s worth it, since I game quite a lot.

Edit: Never mind. Changed my approach and blew him away without any trouble at all. Now only Bayle is left, plus a new game+ for the platinum trophy (final ending).

Edit 2: Platinumed Elden Ring and beat all the bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree!

I have a bad feeling about this. Seems like they’re killing everything that made Returnal one of the all time greats.

Finished my second playthrough of Elden Ring, started Shadow of the Erdtree now for the first time. Nice to have a challenge again, after Elden Beast melted under my blasphemous blade.

That’s a shame. As article already explains you never start at zero in Returnal, there are pretty much always traits you upgrade/unlock between every run. Judging on this description Saros sounds more like a regular game with its upgrading mechanics.

Nevertheless I’m really looking forward to this. Returnal was easily my most fulfilling platinum trophy ever.

PS Plus is so not worth the money, considering how cheap these games are physically and how you can resell them after playing.

I might subscribe for Extra for a month or two to cross of TLOU 2 Remastered, Silent Hill 2 Remake and SM2. Then again, I already found Miles Morales quite boring since it basically is the same game as SM1, so I hope SM2 offers something extra.

So this “news” is about the fact that they picked a name but haven’t shared it yet? My god…

I’ll immediately go to Amazon to order these 99+ games that are on sale in the PS Store.
