@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I can understand that, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a promotion to gain new subscribers. It’s not the regular price you pay every year. I see both arguments, I’m just a bit surprised how people feel they’re entitled to it.

This is so disappointing, game wise. I was looking forward to this sale for months, but from my wishlist only TLOU Part 2 has dropped the usual € 10. No AC Shadows, no Shadow of the Erdtree, no Silent Hill 2, Stellar Blade, FF7 Rebirth…

At least I can pick up my chroma pearl controller for € 20 off.

I bought last year’s entry a few months ago and have barely touched it. I’m still halfway through my F2 season. It’s so boring and sterile, I can’t get bothered to even reach F1.

Never understood this criticism. Yes, I get you want to save money, but it’s a promotion to gain new subscribers. They’d be crazy if they would suddenly ask you to pay less when you already committed to pay. This has worked like this for decades for pretty much all subscriptions.

Good diverse lineup for a change. I’d be most interested in NBA if I were subscribed. Somehow I always end up buying those games without really playing them a lot though. You need to remember so many button combinations that it’s hard to get back into after a break.

I’m playing daily on my PS and never even looked into this.

@Almost_Ghostly I see, thanks! This is probably different in the Netherlands. I don’t see these options in the webshops. It might have to do with our European customer protection rules that are forced automatically, I’d imagine.

After a lovely trip to Cost Rica the last weeks I’ll now round off the base game of Cyberpunk 2077. Just a few more trophies to get platinum. After that I’ll probably dive straight into Phantom Liberty now I’ve had a break from the game.

Amazing piece of hardware and I really enjoyed it for a few months. Sold it though because I found myself playing it less and less and always starting up the regular PS5 (Pro). It’s just too much of a hassle to set everything up and rebuild my living room every time.

@SMJ Definitely! One of my favorites. I don’t even need missions to enjoy myself, just the whole experience of lifting off in a big spaceship and traveling to/discovering this endless list of planets never gets old.

Nice! Spend 250 hours with it on my Series X (which I sold since then) and I was far from being done! I hope it will be optimized for the Pro.

@rjejr Same. Not a huge bother for me, but less scrolling/clicking would be better.

@John_Deacon You say when the price goes up, but it doesn’t. It’s the same price as 25-30 years ago. And that’s without calculating in inflation.

For the rest, I agree that games should be finished on release, as I said. That’s the main reason why I don’t buy games on release; later on I’ll have a better version. The price has nothing to do with that though.

@John_Deacon I don’t see why that price is “outrageous”. It’s bad that they release games that aren’t totally finished, I agree. But that’s another discussion and has nothing to do with the price. If it costed 10 bucks it would still be annoying and bad.

@nessisonett Even then it’s still 0% inflation in roughly 30 years. That’s quite insane actually.

Would be really interesting if it got a full-on PS5 Pro mode.

I absolutely love it. Not having to choose anymore between fps and graphics/ray tracing is the game changer. TLOU Part 1 almost had me drooling. The huge internal space is a benefit as well, although I mainly only install the games I want to play (next).

I can’t seem to find the PS Store sale on Amazon.

Definitely the diversity. Setting and basic setup were great, it just got a bit tedious towards the end. I have high hopes for this game though. They probably won’t fall for the “bigger = better” approach, this game really doesn’t need a bigger map.

Damn. Wished I didn’t finish it twice already.

So we probably get one more small sale now and then the Days of Play by the end of May?

Should be a fun game, like GTA V, but definitely not one of the games I'm looking forward to the most. I'm perfectly fine by playing it in two years time or so after a promotion.

Rounding off the last side missions and NCPD missions before going into endgame (roof scene) with Cyberpunk.

@ATaco Somewhere around the end of May we’ll have the Days of Play with probably discounts on Plus.

@MFTWrecks Same, plus also the most fulfilling platinum since it forced you to dig deeper into the story.

I want to play this in a few months time. Do you guys think it will be widely available by then, or should I better secure a copy now?

Yikes, this one is painful, looking at its history. I already didn’t preorder it for this reason. Don’t think it will release in four months either.

Fantastic game and really tempting upgrade for my Pro. I already finished it twice though and also platinumed it, so I guess I’ll skip this one.

@Diowine Not true, I played the first one last month. Those games are suddenly very interesting with the show being in the spotlights now plus the attraction it holds on people with a Pro (as in my case). I plan on playing the second game in the coming months.

@kyleforrester87 Yes, but you wouldn’t read that description when you don’t want any spoilers. You had to click on the series first. Here you see it while scanning the titles of news items about games.

Is it a suggestion to keep the title totally clean, as in no plot descriptions such as “revenge”? I’ve yet to play TLOU Part 2 and now I already know there will be an element of revenge without having read the review. That’s not a huge spoiler, but if you accidentally read a keyword for every episode you can pan out the whole flow of things.

I think it’s enough to just name the season and episode in the title?

80 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 and only at 40% of the main game, with the DLC to go after that. Still loving every minute of it.

I learned to not look at reviews/scores when it comes to horror. Somehow the interesting movies never come out on top and the slowburns (not saying this is one) are misunderstood most of the times. Many of my favorites score around 40-50/100.

Smart action once again to time this right after all the news concerning the price increases. The value of the service has only been getting worse and worse after the tiers were introduced.

@nomither6 Simulator?! It’s just hitting the gas and steering.

10/10? No way. I was bored with it in a few days. The missions are very much alike and the racing isn’t exciting in the slightest. I can understand however if people enjoy this when arcade racers are up their alley, but it’s far from perfect.

Damn, this reads like a human version of Nier:automata with its combination of despair and silliness in the story telling. Is that correct? Mixing the turn-based combat with souls-like parries feels like a great idea as well.

Never even heard about this game, but it could potentially be my game of the year if Death Stranding 2 didn’t exist.

Good thing I’ll be on holidays then. I want to experience everything as fresh as possible when I can play it.

Oh wow, didn’t expect this. Somehow I feared a half baked translation to the PS5 architecture. I’ll definitely play it next year or so.

I’m spending most of my time in Night City. If only more people knew this is essentially the ultimate GTA game…

@NotTelevision Perhaps not shovelware then, but most definitely not excellent value either. I’m thinking about games such as Returnal, Demon’s Souls and GOW: Ragnarok (all on Plus) when using such terms.

Doesn’t really matter though. It’s just that Push Square more often than not oversells stuff a bit too obviously. Not a disaster by any means, but it makes it harder to determine if something interesting actually did happen.

@naruball I know what is meant, but don’t agree on that logic. Mediocre games are just shovelware.

@LiamCroft Don’t really follow that logic I’m afraid 😅 A 7/10 being added to a subscription service doesn’t make it excellent. There’s a reason you normally wouldn’t play it.
