If you haven't upgraded to a PS5 by now, after 5+ years, then you might as well wait and upgrade to a PS6 in a few more years.

I set up my PS4 Pro last year to use for remote play and forgot how terribly long the loading times are. That didn't last long. Now it sits on the shelf unplugged.

Once you're used to the SSD speed and 60fps as the standard, it's difficult to go back to last gen. But if you don't know any better, more power to you.

Wow! I have fond memories of Veediots! as a child. I'll have to get this for my Steam Deck OLED.

A physical copy would be nice but February & March are packed months. We will have to see.

Just what I wanted to hear! I hope Capcom gives us an option to uncap the frame rate with ray tracing turned on.

My first playthrough will be 4K 60fps with RT. To see this game in it's full graphical glory. Every playthrough after while going for the Platinum will be in 120hz mode.

I'm excited to know the PS5 version also has gyro aiming! Hopefully, Capcom gives us a way to adjust the gyro sensitivity this time, because the sensitivity is way too low on RE4R and Village. I don't want to have to use my Steam Deck OLED (but I will) for gyro. Because I'll miss out on all the DualSense features.

I will hold off for the physical release. It's already been a 13 year wait, another year or two is fine. There is plenty to play in the mean time.

I have no interest in GTA Online. So, there is no rush to get to the story day 1.
If they decide to go completely digital, then I'll wait for a steep discount.

Sony could wait until 2030 and I'd be fine with it. Unless the PS6 is a big upgrade (4K 120fps). I don't plan on upgrading from PS5 Pro until PS6 Pro. I will take the PS6 Portable, though. If Sony wants to release that within the next few years.

Code Veronica Remake within a year of RE9 releasing? Yes, please!

Mabey, RE0 Remake after CV? Capcom could fix the issues i had with character swapping. Add some local and online co-op to it.

The Ezio Collection could use a 60fps patch. I played through some of it, but playing games at 30fps on PS5 Pro doesn't click with me.

I could always hook up the PS4 Pro or remote play it to my Steam Deck OLED (used to playing games at 30fps on those platforms), but I'd prefer the better performance.

I'm currently playing through Rebirth right now on PS5 Pro.

Usually, I'm not a fan of card/minigames built inside other games but, Queen's blood is fun. Every time I visit a new location. I always check to see if there are npc's to play against.

I'm glad to hear it will be available for part 3.

However, that war/battleship style board game with the polygon style PS1 graphics. I did not understand at all.

@GirlVersusGame I'm really enjoying it so far. I added it to my Steam wishlist and I'll probably pick-up a physical copy for PS5. I've played about 4 hours of it. I keep wandering off the mission path to explore. Doing that helps me grind. I appreciate the advice about the augments. The soundtrack is good. I've only played Witcher 3, but I'm a big fan of Dying Light. If you want to play some co-op, I'd be down.

I used to love playing Fighting Force 64 on Nintendo 64 back in the day with a cousin of mine. It's nothing special compared to some of the best beat em ups from the SNES era, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I never played Fighting Force 2.

I'll get this for the nostalgia. Probably, for Steam Deck OLED, since I missed out on the physical release through Limited Run.

Time to play The Ascent. It's been downloaded on my PS5 Pro for about a year.

I didn't finish Cult of the Lamb. But I'll probably buy it for Steam Deck OLED.

Re Village is great, but i already own it. I might as well download Like A Dragon, so I can keep my physical copy sealed on the shelf.

I'm only about halfway through Yakuza 0. So hopefully, Infinite Wealth doesn't spoil too much.

Excited for my Platinum run! Hopefully, there is a high frame rate mode for the Pro to go alongside with the enhancements.

I've been dabbling with a little RE4 Remake on my Pro recently and it looks phenomenal with the high frame rate and ray tracing. A showcase of what the PS5 Pro can truly do when used properly.

I have no doubt Capcom will do the same with RE9 & Pragmata.

Let's hope they learned their lesson with Alan Wake 2 and have a physical release ready on day 1!

So far, I've only played through Chapter 1 in the Trails series. I'm currently playing the original Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on Steam Deck OLED.

Would I be able to play this game without missing any major content? Or should I start somewhere else?

Chapter 1 has a high frame rate (HFR) mode that ran up to 120fps on PS5/Pro. Is it also available for this game?

@Oram77 Same here! Those Yotei plates are nice! Even though some people said the color looks like baby vomit haha.

No love for us PS5 Pro owners with the plates 😤. I'd like the techno red and neon green colors on a DualSense Edge. But I can't go back to a standard DualSense controller.

@Jammer i only have two 4k TVs at the moment, and both of them are the same model (LG C1 OLED). My Switch 1 & 2 work just fine with both of them.

I would assume any 4k TV with hdmi would work with Switch 2.

@Jammer I own both games (Deadly Premonition 1 & 2) for Switch and a Switch 2. Both of them work and run a bit better on Switch 2. Still janky AF, though. But playable if fps drops don't bother you too much.

If you prefer to play those games in portable mode. Personally, I'd choose to play them on a Switch OLED. But you might as well buy a Switch 2 to future proof yourself.

@BleedingDreamer From what others say, you can earn the true ending within 3 playthroughs.

@Almost_Ghostly I have a Steam Deck OLED. So I play digital only games, but not at full price.

Switch/Switch 2 have cartridge slots, so I'd much prefer physical games on that hardware.

Same with PS4/PS5. I'd prefer to buy games on disc.

After Silent Hill 2 and Cronos: The New Dawn. Bloober Team has my full attention! Unless it's digital only/game key card, then they can keep it.

@Jammer I'm pretty sure there are five endings in total. Unless one of the recent updates changed that? Well, maybe you can get multiple endings in one playthrough? I don't know.

@Deljo Depends on the game and price. I want this game for my collection and I prefer physical over digital. Since I'll have a digital copy via PS Plus, there will be no need to open the physical copy.

Besides, I don't own the monthly games given away via PS Plus. Once I stop paying for the service. Then, I no longer have access to those games. I like owning my games.

I hope they keep the high framerate mode (HFR) for us PS5/Pro owners, because playing at 120fps was super smooth on my PS5 Pro.

Just started Cat Quest 3 on my Steam Deck OLED via remote play last night and it's purrfect! Another fun platinum to go alongside Cat Quest 1 & 2.

Grandblue fantasy Relink, downloaded and ready to go. Physical copy can remain on shelf sealed.

Hell yeah! Dead Island 2 is great! The flesh system is awesome!

So much so that it made the Dying Light 2 devs go back and rework their entire melee combat system for the better.

Improve upon the flesh system. And I'll be happy!

Looking forward to Cat Quest 3 the most. To go alongside my Cat Quest 1 & 2 Platinums.

I own Granblue Fantasy Relink, but it will be nice to play it without having to open up my sealed physical copy.

For Leon it will be a typical Friday night.

I would rather play as Grace the entire game and have it be extremely scary.

It's nice seeing Leon (Lay-Onn) come back but mabey save his part in the game as future DLC.

Either way, i'm still looking forward to it. I won't pass any judgment or criticism until i've played the game to completion.

@8bitOG If PS4 Pro was my only way to play modern Playstation games at the moment. Then, I probably would add thermal paste and an SSD to it.

PS5 Pro handles all my PS4 games just fine. While the PS4 Pro sits on a shelf collecting dust... it was a great system, though. From 2016-2020. So I can't complain.

Of course PS4 will continue to receive games. If it runs on Switch 2. It will run on PS4.

It's nice for PS4 only owners, but personally I could never go back to those long load times and loud running machine.

Thanks Sony for making the PS5 backwards compatible with PS4.

I'm guessing PS5 will receive games for at least 7 more years.

I've had it on my Steam wish list for a while now but I didn't realize there is a demo for PS5 and Steam.

I prefer to play these type of games on a handheld. I'll probably download it and give it a shot on my Steam Deck OLED.

Such a shame. Dead Space Remake is so good! I was looking forward to Dead Space 2 Remake.

The original trilogy holds up well and plays great on my Steam Deck OLED!

EA might as well sell it if they have no plans to continue the series.

After playing through Cronos The New Dawn. I think Bloober Team would do a great job with the Dead Space franchise.

Sony handhelds always look and feel so premium. So i'm excited for the PS6 portable! More so than the PS6 console itself.

I'd take a PS Portal OLED to hold me over for a few years until the PS6 portable.

I need to try to actually complete the game for once before I go for the Platinum. Now to decide whether to play it on PS5 Pro or Switch 2.

Got my platinum a few days ago. Such an amazing game! I enjoyed it more than Tsushima.

The gameplay was so smooth, even in ray-tracing pro mode on PS5 Pro. The ray-tracing looked great with 60fps. Honestly, I thought it already had VRR support.

40fps mode and NG+ are nice additions. But i've had my fill and moved on, for now.

I might start Cronos The New Dawn tonight.

I wonder how come no 120hz mode for the PS5? The PS4 version already runs at 60fps on PS5 through backwards compatibility.

Chapter 1 was amazing, great graphics and 120hz mode. Super smooth experience on PS5 Pro!

The ending left me wanting more. I can't wait for chapter 2! Day one purchase!

How about a performance patch for the Pro? Because the frame rate really tanks at times, especially later on in the game.

That's why i'm still waiting on my Platinum run. Other than that, it's a great game!

If I want to enjoy Spider-Man on a portable device, I can play it on my Steam Deck OLED via remote play from my PS5 Pro on an OLED display with HDR that looks similar to my LG C1 OLED TV on a handheld screen. Running at 60fps with some ray tracing.

I'll wait for Steam Deck 2 and the rumored PS6 portable.

@Flaming_Kaiser I know it would be kind of pointless if the game isn't on the disc in full. But I would still rather have that instead of a digital copy.

Microsoft did the same thing with Doom The Dark Ages & Indiana Jones. Which is why I haven't picked them up yet.

I can wait for a steep discount before I purchase them.
